But Trump should also know that the US is also losing the confidence and respect other countries have for them. The country was seen as a big brother to many nations because of its generosity and the US could easily influence these beneficiaries. That was why the US could easily get support from other nations during voting in international organizations. If these nations stop getting aid from the US, they would have to also lose their loyalty.
America can't rely on loyalty & support from countries it's abandoned. They've given aid to many countries & received support but Trump's using aid like business deals. When the next president comes he's going to say sorry. He'll repair so much damage which Trump's leaving behind but it's going to take years.
Even if the "government" of USA didn't get any love from other nations, the Americans themselves did. For example, I never liked any American government, not bush, not Obama, not trump, not Biden. But, I always liked Americans themselves, doesn't matter if they are republican or democrat, to me they are the same and while they themselves fight each other, for me they are both good American friends and I like them all, and it doesn't matter if a government is democrat president or a republican one, I saw both in my life, and I disliked both, even hated both.
So as you can see, these "aids" or not, Americans could always realize that the world was a little closer to them, nowadays with what trump is doing, we could just dislike trump, but people support him too, and that is where it starts to crack and we may dislike Americans themselves too.
