Looks like they have given shilling Oneminers a break for now. They are now busy shilling asicprofit (asicprofit.com). I am very certain they so-called profitability calculator is linked to the whole scam

I made thread about that website on asicprofit dot com is a probable scam mining calculator website. But later i found out there are many website/domain that owned by same group or highly affiliated.

How I wish mods would delete such threads that are just spam and are obvious scams.

Moderator don't moderate/delete scam. But since their domain/name frequently spammed (https://bitlist.co/search?content=asicprofit|%22asicprofit.com%22&limit=20&sort_by=date_desc), ideally moderator should delete those due to spam.

Don't give them ideas. But FYI, in past certain moderators told me their shill account can't be nuked/ban by them since the account is too old or made too many post.

Huh, that's interesting. It must be a difference in moderator powers as opposed to a general policy. Because surely these types of accounts get hacked/sold all the time. Of course, promotion of a scam isn't necessarily worthy of a ban... they have to be really spammy about it.

They try to create constructive topic by touching current geopolitical issue. But aside from so many SEO spam link on the bottom, we know internet on iran is almost 100% down[1] and some power grid collapsed[2]. So it should be obvious that mining isn't possible, unless you have strong relation with current government.

Looks like this is a good option. At least I now know of a thread that has been deleted. From now on I am going to start reporting such thread until those actors give up on their dubius mission

I noticed that iceriver dot eu now redirects to iceriver dot app.

After more than a year, many hundreds report, some negative tag and some flag along with tons of support and action from other members, most of the account that used for SEO spam/shilling finally got banned or nuked. In addition, majority of their post or thread that contain SEO spam or shilling also got deleted. I don't know which moderator processed my reports, but thank you very much for processing it.

Personally, for ease of reading (and not having to look up names that are associated with each member number), I would rather see user names in any such lists rather than member #s.

Their attempt wasn't advertising, but combination of SEO spam and general shilling. That's why moderator eventually ban their accounts after i continuously report their post for about a year.

What a shame. But not very surprising because their website looks convincing at first glance and people usually don't bother do detailed research. On earlier page of this thread, other popular crypto website such as coingecko even used to publish their sponsored content.

they use sevio.com to handle and manage their advertising deals, so they are the ones at fault for approving it, when a simple google search would convince anyone reviewing the ad campaign to know it's a shady company that you do not want to be associated with.

That makes sense now. I don't know so much about things to do with ads, so I am not sure if they (scammers) pay monthly or yearly, but I do hope whattomine and sevio.com act accordingly.
