Am not here to argue that there are no strong influence of the so called whales on the bitcoin market price, just as we have it under the research we do when speculating for the market, that we have to include both the fundamental and analytical analysis altogether to see what impact they can have on the market price, then maybe you could have put in this way, that probably and not that the intention for crypto reserve is the main cause, after he mentioned crypto, we don't even know whether there will be high consideration for bitcoin before any other shitcoin got involved.

try not to get emotional or reactive over price changes due to tweet notifications, they dont last long

what you will find is after the naive investors do their emotional pump, the whales then arbitrage the different markets to settle the numbers back down

its been a day and should now be thought of a forgotten moment of drama, not something that needs conversations that last days over a 1 day price drama
move on and start looking for real economic reasons to cause real underlying price support to move the price forward and sustain it

The place of bitcoin in the crypto space never disappeared nor will it ever disappear. Bitcoin is literally the very reason why there is a crypto space in the first place. Without it, what would be of the crypto community?

Even if bitcoin was declining, I never doubted it. My expectations of a new ATH decreased yes but I never thought that it would crash and disappear forever lol. US will not be the last country to have bitcoin in their national reserve.

It may cause a pump this time but that's not the only thing that can cause a pump to bitcoin's price. Even before is that bitcoin pumps higher than it's price before so it's not just US having crypto reserves will make bitcoin pump. Let's put the price reaching 100k. We also saw an increase in trading volume a few days ago when someone was dumping bitcoin below 90k and that's actually where we still are despite all the announcements.

Trading volume only means that there's a lot of money changing hands, but doesn't say whether there's more buying or selling. You need to see candles for that and the candlers are bloody red, meaning nobody cares about Trump's promises because he promised an executive order and after he was elected he signed every single order that came to his head but for the bitcoin reserve. He was so concentrated on shitcoins when he finally announced it that he forgot to mention bitcoin. It's a joke not a reserve.

There are two kind of investors at this stage. The ones that want to buy more for accumulation while the ones that want to sell. Those who to buy and sell panic at all time. So there is no big deal here to discuss. Bitcoin ALWAYS had a place in the Cryptocurrency space.  The first place!  All the good news we hear around it are only additional reasons to believe it is NOT dying like they used to say about it.  It is only growing stronger.  And at this point where Bitcoin is being tested as legal tender in a few countries and the largest world power is announcing Bitcoin to be part of their reserve, I believe there is NO doubt Bitcoin is still going places and making giant waves.

I keep seeing Franky mentioning how the actual value of Bitcoin has not priced in yet and I completely agree.  Even if 100,000 Dollars was the top of this cycle, it is still significant.  Though I truly believe we are going to be surprised rather soon by what Bitcoin can do when emotional traders are out and the real value finally pushes and locks in.

All I can say is that real investors never feel panic about the decline, but traders do. Why? Investors never lose any as they don't sell any, but traders do as they can't make a profit from the declining situation of the market.

Did they? Was the need for a cryptocurrency reserve extended to the altcoins as well? The most I’ve heard has always been about having these reserves in Bitcoin which is more reliable than the unstable altcoin. It would be so much of a gamble I would say, to look towards altcoin to serve as strategic reserve. Although, the chosen coins are those that have made name for themselves and been around for a while, I still think the choice of strategic reserves should have been left with Bitcoin.

It didn't last for long, Bitcoin is testing a 85k support and we don't even know if it will resist or not. We can go down as low as 80k in the coming days IMO. AFAIK Trump's government hasn't said they will buy Bitcoin Bitcoins or other cryptos up to now. They will just put in a so called strategic reserve what the US administration has seized and will seize instead of selling it. It won't push strongly the market if their crypto reserve works like that, so it's not a very bullish news actually. Many people were waiting for more than that IMO.

I disagree - the US strategic crypto reserve is not the be all and end all for Bitcoin
or Crypto, its not the make or break because Bitcoin will continue on its path regardless
of what or does not happen.

Here is what will happen regardless of what the US does - the true believers, the
.iners, node runners and developers will continue to support Bitcoin.
