That's what happens here. You post a screenshot and suddenly everyone has to say something. I don't blame the ones making the comments though. If someone invites comments it's entirely on them for having to understand not to take everything seriously. Peope say some damn stupid things when gambling and especially when commenting on other people's gambling. The truth is only you know what you can afford to lose and what it means to you.

I’m not left out - there are times when I make such type of comment while other times I tend to be more logical and give comments that goes both ways - in cases like this where we are presented with bets and then asked if they made the wrong choice by cashing out even when the bet would have gone well.

And that's how it is mate, gambling is risking for the unknown, there are no smart judgement here. We are betting on the outcome that we didn't know and so there will be times that we make the right judgement, i.e. according to you we are smart.

But then if we don't make the correct judgement we call them greedy gamblers, or worst, dumb one.

Of course that's how it is in gambling, which is why most gamblers don't always like cashing out thier game even when they're losing and sometimes they can even offer them a higher amount let's say x2 of thier staking amount, yet they will still choose to leave it. I like your points in the OP because it states the fact and that is a flaw which humans have. Sentiment, we think we are logical but we are not. We are quick to point out the speck in the eyes of the other fellow but fail to see the log in our own eyes. We are quick to draw quick conclusions to suit our skewed narratives of other people. And we would never label ourselves as greedy gamblers if we were in presented with the same opportunity and refuse to cash out even when the game ends loss and we lose our bets or in the second instance.

I can see how someone would bet like this and it may not necessarily be the best
way of doing so. Its also like betting on a team based on the amount of return -
kind of like being blinded by greed indeed.

The judgemental mentality is one that can never be totally eradicated in both the gambling community and the world at large, and the earlier you understand this concept, the better for you as a gambler. Since nobody cares to know about your struggles, but all you care about is your success stories. I see you are referring to the sport betting and in here rarely are addicted persons compared to slot machines. I would not say there are greedy persons in here as for example I was watching the game of Real Madrid and once Real scored the 2nd goal today I knew they would win the game without problems as I was watching the game live, they even had a lot of other goal chances even without Bellingham playing and Mbappe being in the worse night of his Champions appearance so far. I had the opportunity to cash out but I didn't, this doesn't make me smart though, everyone watching the game would have done the same and wait for the game to finish because somethings in sport betting are plain evident.
