Hello all,

The following incident occurred 4-5th of March (a few days ago), I was actually not even going to bring this up until I saw it mentioned in the public chat of an entirely different casino.

I have an account on wolf.bet which i very occasionally use, as gambling is not conducive to a healthy financial situation. Starting with a relatively small balance of a few hundred dollars, I accrued $7500 USDT over a matter of hours. Additionally tipped a mod and rained approx $75 USDT on 25 users (is irrelevant but included to be complete).

I attempted to withdraw $7450 and received an unusual error message 'Network maintenance, please try again later'. Usually any withdraw attempt will enter a pending state, and is either approved or rejected from there (has been my experience previously). I've asked around my crypto circle and noone has seen this message before.

I attempted to withdraw on every USDT network available on wolfbet, Tron, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain and Optimism. I gave it some time and tried again (approx 2 hours), with the same end result. At this point I messaged the team and explained what had happened (chat logs included).

Eventually temptation gave way and my balance was whittled down to just over $1000 USDT, and surprisingly withdraw was instant.
I feel this is a targeted event and is underhanded, something that crypto gambling does not need any more of.

I attempted to speak with the team regarding this, but was given a fairly poor response.

I would like wolfbet to either reach out - or to leave this message here as a warning for any other occasional punter.

OP, so you are accusing the casino in question for withholding your funds intentionally so that you can play and lose. If this is true, it is a classic case of cheap tactics used by casinos to force a player to panic and lose. We all know how stress can work as a stimulus for gambling addicts, and casinos should have taken care of this.

Thank you memehunter, I'm not a regular forum user so that helps a lot.
Having to be prompted for a response well outside of the expected time-frame is a clear indicator of withholding behavior.

My withdrawal wasn't rejected or placed in a holding state.

I was prevented from making a withdrawal entirely.

It's a rarity these days where a user is able to continue gambling after a withdrawal request was made.
Not once, not twice, but multiple times, with 4 different currencies.
After waiting hours already.

My withdrawal wasn't rejected or placed in a holding state.

I was prevented from making a withdrawal entirely.

Not once, not twice, but multiple times, with 4 different currencies.

Let me understand you correctly, you were prevented from withdrawing your fund using a network error status as a reason, and because you were unable to withdraw after several attempts, you decided to continue gambling with the same funds you were trying to withdraw, and as a result, you ended up losing most part of the money and went from $7450 to $1000 before you tried withdrawing again and your withdrawal request went through?

If your case is exactly as I have explained it above, then I am indeed sorry for your loss, but you don't have to blame the casino for anything here, sincerely speaking.
Systems errors can happen or come up at any time which could be the cause of the issue that prevented you from being able to withdraw at first, but then even if the casino did it on purpose, then you shouldn't have fell for the trick, gambling is not just about winning games, withdrawing the money you won can also be a gamble at times, and unfortunately, you lost in this regard.
What you should have done is remain patient and don't pay any games on the casino anymore until you are allowed to withdraw your fund.

If this is really the case, then I am very sorry to say but the casino owe you no explanation, they set a trap and you fell into it, learn from this and do not make the same mistake next time.

Damn! I really hate it when sites stoop to such lows by using these unethical tactics in order to legally withhold winnings. They definitely deserve the majority of the blame here, but you do deserve some blame too for not controlling yourself.

You could have received all of your winnings if you could have controlled yourself and stayed patient for some more time since they wouldn't withhold your money indefinitely.

Right, it had happen to me several times as well, I can't withdraw for unknown reasons, (just to be fair, it's not crypto based online gambling, it local here in our country). I keep on trying and it just will not go thru.

Wait several hours go to their support and they just said that I have to wait although this is the first time that I have encountered this kind of error as it should be instant. But then I played and lost everything.

So I know that the gamblers has some fault in it, however, it you look at it, hard to think that casinos are deliberately withholding and not allowing you to withdraw, in my opinion.

I have had many dealing with Wolf.bet in the past and all have went smooth. Simon has always been extremely professional and easy to deal with. @OP the site did not make you gamble, so it's your own fault that you lost 6k back to them. You could have waited until whatever issue was fixed, but no you gambled and lost. You could have also tried to wd a smaller amount, say 1k and see what happens. Maybe their hot wallet was empty, maybe the site was facing an issue, maybe this, or maybe that, whatever the case you didn't have to gamble.

I have seen the same issue with other casinos. In some cases was never solved (and this force to sell some coins at a very low price...)
But unfortuntely this could happens anytime you're going to play.
The best solution is just to have patience and wait for withdraw. Lock your account off the site and that's all!
Of course it's pretty normal achieve a lose if you continue to gamble (but you can even win... of course!).
You can't talk as a scam. If you were winning you were not opening this topic... your lose is not related to any scam attempt like trick on the games and so on.

It's a rarity these days, but it happens here and there. To me recently in one casino, I was "prevented" (I will use your word) from making a withdrawal, they connected my second deposit with a bonus and added wagering requirements... they solved & admitted their mistake, but I already lost a huge part of that balance. Maybe they said sorry, I don't remember, if it was, that was all I got.

So been there done that... We can't call it a scam, it's a strong word, but it's definitely a trick in many casino playbooks. And we can't do much about it, as Bitbollo advised "The best solution is just to have patience", it's a way to win & outsmart them, but I know how hard that can be!

@OP, sorry for your losses. But nothing can be done now as you have lost the funds by placing more bets. WolfBet team might give you some compensation if you had lost the funds for technical error in the games. We have previously seen a few many complaints against different casinos like this. Wallet issues occasionally happen on different casinos, showing the patience is the most important thing in such situation. because the fact is, wolfbet didn't "prevent" you from cashing out, they had a USDT network maintenance and it was not just for you, all their users were affected by this. so how was this targeted at you?
also, wolfbet has a vault system, you could have vaulted your wins and waited for the maintenance to be done. but you decided to gamble. no one forced you and you know that.

Oh look, I would definitely agree.. if withdrawals were automatic and occurred mere minutes after being placed.

The reality of it is that all withdrawals first enter a pending state, whereby they must be manually approved/denied and this has been the case with wolfbet for some time.
To demonstrate this theory, I deposited gambled and withdrew a much smaller amount - and it sat there for 10 minutes, only after contacting a staff member was it released.
