Exactly, instead to create another thread wey fit lead to spamming I think say eh go make sense make people or newbies wey just come into the forum to focus on Hatchy thread to learn about the Nigerian Local Board at large cause eh get many things wey people go still repeat here wey dey inside their, some fit even go collect ideas from there come drop here and eh go definitely result to spamming, so instead of that, eh go better make you just help hatchy they update new things wey dey sub currently for that thread instead of this new one wey you create.

When talking about the fact of the naija local board, I want to believe some of us could say a lot of it which we heard, witnessed and have experienced of, but to just bring us into cordination, I want to use this medium in appealing with our brothers not to take this as an eruption of dead matters, arguments or fighting, but as OP clarifies, facts about naija board and any irrelevant post or comment should strictly be reported or deleted, so no abuse.

Here are mine.

1. Naija thread once had a single merit source, who was cryptopreneurbrainboss.
2. Naija thread got approved due to increasing activities after several requests for local board.
3. We once had an active member of the naija local board by name Becky666 who passed away and this becomes an heavy task most of us hardly cope with.
4.Naija board was chosen in the past to be among those that benefited the support rendered by the forum from the incident of covid 19 and our boss Brainboss fully represented us well and make the necessary distributions accordingly to affected areas.
5. There was an  arguments majorly between charles-Tim and Brainboss concerning the official naija local board language, this was a misunderstanding between using English or Pidgin, we casted the vote and we have the majority support the use of the two together and everything was then resolved.

These are the few I can remember, but some of us could shed more light on any other ones we all know.

Make I no go talk pass myself but wetin I fit yan here na say once upon a time we been no get local board here for bitcointalk forum unlike some other countries way get theirs, time goes where our top rank users like Charle-Tim, Igebotz, Cryptopreneurbrainboss, Adbitico, Rruchiman and some other ogbonge senior users as least I fit remember pushed forward to make the proposal say 9ja people don contribute a lot for the forum and no be only that, we also be a topnotch for global bitcoin users which we really deserve to get our own board where we fit discussion effective to our way of best understanding.
Na so the agitation take come until dem grant the request way finally Oga Igebotz way dey for outstanding position to be our moderator.
Efficiently him as our moderator also come up with the idea way good for us to separate child board discussion posts from bitcoin and forum discussion posts. Na there we take get Off topic and politics and society child boards.
The achievement of this forum come also enhance our merit source to specifically rewards deserved posts with merits to keep the board encouraging and lively.

That thread by Hatchy work better after all e dey pinned for our LB here, so any body go fit dey go through m anytime, na for Hatchy  to dey update anytime update dey as e talk.

This one go reduce spamming and e dey even better because e dey low key serve the purpose sef already.

If not dat u use pidgin English take talk to us here, I for no no say u na naija person, we should not allow some tins to make us leave local board for few senior men, all d seniors men include u dat stand for dis local board to seen light of d day other local board is trying to follow to dey were we dey today, may God of our land continue to put better oil for una head to continue bring new development to dis naija local board.

We dey lack merits sources from dis naija local board, if not b say we dey use our head wey papa God give us, we for still dey were our enemy want us to dey, wetin I dey try talk b say mak una push another merits sources to dis naija local board. Since wey dey give dis naija local board moderator, quality post don improve 70% which is wat every local board want from their users.

I have read your old thread again more carefully where history is not a very distant past and time is a huge achievement for us. @Lordhermes quoted the thread where he listed the active members of 2021 period, I respect them for being the first period.

Alright.. This is a very nice initiative, and I was able to do a little research and investigation across related old thread on our local board and luckily, I was able to stumble on 2 vital facts I think is worth knowing about we the Naija Local Board, and that includes who was the oldest person on the Naija Local Board, and likewise "Who is the oldest and still active on our local board, as they go as follows;.

Exactly, and this thread is pined so that many information needed will be getting there whoever is in need of the information.

The Nija board is a board for we Nigerians and others to share information that will us and the general forum especially in Bitcoin related aspects. And since we achieved this board, our standard in this forum has increased since we now have a moderator to overlook the activities of this forum for good, and we are both happy since we now have sub-boards for different discussions just like other sections of the forum. Make sure you check the pined threads for all the necessary information you will need that was the reason the moderator pinned them there.
