I agree with the above two totally but I want to talk about this communication not as if I don't agree with it. However, it depends on the way you are seeing this communication because it varies and it shouldn't only be looked at straight way as having the good vocals to mesmerize the people or being charismatic with it or being an orator. Communication as a qualification or characteristics of a leader is beyond just talking directly to the people because there are some leaders who are taciturn in nature but they possess a good number of characteristics. A leader who is taciturn would have means to pass messages to their people.

So talking in regards to communication of a leader, he should be patient to speak or give other because whatever he says is taking seriously and others can emulate it. Therefore, he should know the appropriate time (s) to speak.

He should also be a good listener which means his speaking should even be limited. Just few words and not rhetorics of words. Communication is important as a leader, so he should be slow to speak to get his facts and figure correctly, so that what he says should not be misinterpreted as noise.

In additional to what you stated above, a good leader must have empathy by considering others feelings. He should also be creative and be open minded to new ideas. However, good communication is very important because without this, nothing will work.

A great leader is someone that have the interest of his people at hand and his ready to go through what it will take to provide basic amenities for the people and make life easier for many. There are so many bad politicians that do not have the interest of their citizens at hand and what they do is to make fake promises that will never come to pass. Communication is very important, this is why it's learnt as a course in the university, it goes beyond knowing how to speak fluently but in a more deeper sense it's all about knowing what to say at the right time. Being a leader is very difficult because the role is very exhausting and some of the people you are sacrificing for doesn't care about it but instead they will think is what you are gaining that's making you to continue as the leader, however I'm not referring to political leaders because there own method of leadership is the rossy one because they are not giving up anything for quality leadership, so actually if we are looking at quality leaders I don't think politics is were there needs to be searched. However you are right about those things because Courage, Integrity and Communication are the things that supplement a leader. Without communication the masses will not understand and without the leader listening they will not no how people feels, so they are all interconnected for enhancement of leadership.

I agree with all of what you have said. A leader must be firm with what they say and that's integrity and all of it combined makes a leader has the political will in leading his people into greater good. Not all leaders are like that and there are some that don't deserve to be in there because their main priority is the make their pockets full of people's money. Those leaders that are out there to offer their life and serve the people, we can determine them although not all people are going to be attracted with that kind of leadership because we're shipping for our own choice.

A great leader must be courageous. Courage will enable a leader to establish policies without having to consider the interest of few people in a country. Yeah you are right, a good leader should be a good communicator and listener too. They should be able to make room for other suggestions coming from their followers, a good leader should be able to say the truth at all times, a good leader should be able to admit when they are wrong, a good leader should be trustworthy and empathetic. But it's unfortunate that most of our leaders today doesn't have these qualities, most of our leaders today only care for themselves and their families. Most leaders today only take leadership position for their selfish interest.

The above could be some of a quality of a good person, but not a good leader a charismatic leader will have his own unique way of leadership and won't be subjective to the above mentioned characteristics to qualify him for the status of a good leader.

To identify the people you are leading, and be to the a god who provides all they need, support them in any circumstances. Displease yourself if possible for the people you lead. Such that when they remember you are their leader, they'll everlasting joy.

To me, A great leader should be strategic, be the understanding type of being, stick to their words, not be one-sided when passing a judgment, analyze both sides of the story before passing a verdict, and not be in a hurry to make promises or decisions and most importantly don't betray the love and trust the people you rule have for you because of money. This is very important because most leaders sell out their people because money over to them.
