and doing a deal inside an airport or a casino isn't as safe as you think, someone could always follow you outside, find where you live, or wait until you are somewhere less secure to do some banditry.

The priority is, escrow "secures" the cash in all aspects including its authenticity, not to held the coin (as txid is sufficient to confirm that the coins have changed hands). In practice, this is incredibly complex, not to mention the physical security risks of the escrow party. So your assumption is rarely to happen.

Yes I am sensing the same thing as well, F2F transaction could be more difficult as many people are trying to hide their identities without being the exposed, and of course if an escrow is require it doesn't make sense because both parties has already meet together which the transaction must take place between the two parties. To me requiring or requesting an escrow should be something like offline transaction where either both body's needs a trusted and reliable forum member to hold their funds on his custody's maybe after the other has transacted the bitcoin then fund has to be released by the other person who happens to be escrow.

english i never had a non french customer on leboncoin so far and he happens to live YES 5 min next to the airport ahahah either its jsut dumb coencidence or someone is after the 750 either way

update: from now on everyone will pay 6% minimum commision, because it would be unfair that anyone gets a better deal than the top 3 most consistent and trustable customers.

exemple today i had a meetup with a guy who buys 500$ btc and 500$ xmr each month .

i sent him his monero

but when it came to the btc he told me to keep the money and to not send the btc to the usual wallet because he is making a new one a " multisignature  something"

so i told him are you nuts you want me to leave without sending you the 500 ?? and he sayd yes i know you wont scam me you look genuine. then i told him alright but really never do this with anyone ever peoples can be legit at first but then change their mind and scam you it happened to me with a guy for just 30$ once.  he still let me keep it , then we sayd bye and he went back to his job ( he was on the lunch break)  and now thats why i dont have a txid for

the btc transaction i just have a picture of his money and i am still waiting for him to send me his new wallet adress 3hours latter...

so this mad man trusted me enough to hold 500 convinced that i wont scam him. wow thats love anyway from now on NOBODY is getting a better deal than him its 6% minimum even if i want to do it at 3/4/5%

[/quote] im back, no i didnt get kidnapped this time but it was a scam attempt, i will keep it short because this deserves a whole other thread just for this story

so long story short the guy was clueless about this, his cousin had loaned him 10k usdt to start fresh in france all he has to do is help him to sell it and then he has to pay it back within a year

well it was some freaking fake usdt sol and that was the first time it happens to me ever but i had heard about this already.

didnt give him the money and kept the real usdt that his cousin sent to do a test transaction. i wont go into details about this cause im making a thread about it soon
