As above , I am looking at my portfolio and surprised to see many altcoins crashing this low back to bear market lows.

Is this normal this far into a bull run?

If so, why does everyone make a big deal about buying in bear market if we can just buy now this far into a bull run?

Why is there so much panic right now? I am just holding and buying some at these cheap prices but surprised Altcoins have fallen this low.

Perhaps the time has come when altcoins will experience a sharp decline, and we know if we are in the middle of a bullrun with bitcoin below $90K?
As bitcoin continues to fall altcoins will hit bottom, people trying to hold on will panic as they see their portfolios decline.
Those who are altcoin holders are now a lot nervous, because this could be the beginning of a bearish for altcoins.

I do not understand the panic either.  It makes no sense.  The United States is preparing to invest HEAVILY into Bitcoin, there seems to be a lack of negativity from governments at this point and an increase of adoption at the same time yet people are panicking.  I can only presume it is newbies not being able to emotionally handle a chart moving negatively for a short while.

To see whether it is normal or not, more time has to pass.  Bitcoin has in my opinion not priced in yet for this cycle.  Previous cycles make it look like they will only repeat but only time can prove if they actually do.  And even if previous cycles have never seen something you see now, it does not mean the cycle will break.  It may be only a temporary outlying candle.  Zoom out and things still look very good for Bitcoin if you ask me.  The best thing you can do right now is not take anything for granted.  It is good to trust your instinct and investments, but after all you should already know the risks.

Crypto investments need time to get through; the expectation of huge returns within a short period of time these days is almost impossible unless in future trading, where you can use high leverage to predict and get huge returns within a short period of time; but for Bitcoin investment and altcoin investment, you have to wait for a while because the nature of the crypto market is not encouraging because the time between the bull market and these dumps is very slim. I was expecting some altcoin pumps before this dip, but even the Bitcoin price is not ready to recover soon.

It is better to keep buying Bitcoin using the DCA method than holding any altcoin, in my opinion, because the government has stated venturing into cryptocurrency and launching their memecoin is now becoming more alarming because they seem to use their influence to manipulate the market, which is very wrong.

This has been my hardest cycle. I thought everything I learnt in the previous cycles will help me "make it" in this cycle but I was wrong. This cycle has been the hardest and I'm sure when it's all said and done, most people would finish this cycle while being at the all time low in terms of mental health.

I was told there would be an alt season greater than any we have seen in the past but it's looking like that will never happen.

Yeah, normal to see these downtrends that people thought won't happen in a bull run.

You're free to buy now if you think that this is already the right time. On a bear market, there is so much cheaper coins and that's why we prefer to buy at that rate but no one can stop us buying anytime we wish to.

Whenever the price falls, the panic is in and you have to hold your position for as long as you can. And if you have managed to sell at the top, congrats.

Every potential coins do have it marketcap strategies triggering it event cycles. Buying at the bear season and holds can be a good stance for investors because at the raise of the market price you would making passive income but there in the alt coin, it is advised of investors to make proper research or their desired coins because some coins actually Dip and don't  raise in a short term that is if it may raise because some could just die on the process leaving holders empty of valueless coins.

Like I just said, of you make proper research before buying, there should be no need to panic because your holding coin will raise again. Just matter of time as the market is highily volatile.
Also, panicking at a down spring in the market is normal known to be investors sentiments but that is basically holders with emotional biased who does not trust their holding potential values.

My strategy? Stack quality alts at these discounted prices while normies panic sell. The projects with actual utility and adoption (like Injective's RWA innovations, hyperliquid, and others ) will outperform when sentiment shifts.

It's not normal if i'm being honest, it seems as if the money coming out of altcoin and just decided to pump BTC.Dom and as a result, we got really high BTC dom right now. if BTC dom successfully broke through resistance, then you'd expect altcoin to lose more of its value.

but regardless, nobody know what's gonna happen, BTC dom dumped significantly back in previous bullrun when it reached 70%, who knows if it'll repeat the same routine and as a result, the altcoin season will be delayed.

like as you said, might be a great chance to buy, but just stick with high trading volume and big market cap altcoin to prevent urself from missing out the train because market is smarter and it won't pump every altcoin in existence.
just see current altcoins price action, only high trading volume alts recover and pumps.

Things are not normal at the moment. Wars, economic tariffs and overall uncertainty has made the market volatile and overall bearish. There are too much FOMO and propaganda around. The stock markets as well as crypto are suffering from volatility. Specially more in crypto as one of the open crypto proponent Elon Musk is at the center of current farce. This volatility is going to be here for some months.
The best strategy for us crypto lovers is to hold and accumulate when the price is low. We have no control over others but we can make the right descisions.

I will continue to hold and buy the lows when I can but it is very draining and has been for a few months now since the all time high.

For Altcoin it feels natural so when you become an Alt holder then you already know the risk of the impact of Bitcoin decline today. The natural market follows Bitcoin movement and honestly I don't dare to invest money in Altcoin. The panic for altcoin traders is certainly much more worrying the bearish phase of the slowdown has indeed begun and you may see your portfolio balance shrink in the next few months.

 Whenever there is a decline in the price of Bitcoin it robs on all other coins in the market and altcoins as a highly volatile asset have always witnessed a lot of volatility and at that, it becomes very obvious that we expect a higher proportion of the declining market for altcoins anytime a Sharp drop happens in the crypto market, I will say that no one should be surprised with this whole happenings.

Hearing the news about finance guys saying that Recession is imminent, a crypto holder would really be conscious of what he will do to the assets he is holding and I think they are also going to be dumping the BTC in panic to prevent loss.

Its whats happening when the bear market is coming. I guess people are all leaving the crypto market when it happens. The only thing that keep people holding is the news about crypto reserves which they hope it takes time before shooting up and they could wait for it.

Altcoins fell much more than I expected, I am not worried because of the experiences I have learned from the cycles. I can also understand how worried people are to some extent. There are many reasons to panic and worry in the market right now. Liquidity holders who are waiting for the bulls are delaying making moves to call the bulls when there is so much uncertainty, in my opinion. Some of the altcoins are really free, I continue to buy the prices.

It's not "normal", but market cycle doesn't need to repeat itself. It's not like a law or anything.

Last month you called me a fudster when i was thinking it could be over and i was thinking shorting alts. This isn't talking down in any way, because i totally understand the need to believe. Realizing my blind love for my bags was definitely biggest ahaa moment for me. And asking yourself why it was so hard to consider that possibility it's going to other direction you want it to go. This insight could help you with future investment decisions, it did that for me.

We can't benefit from the charts if we have already decided that they are going up soon. Because at that point, why even look at the portfolio amount?

Whenever their is bear, most people do panic, people just want to be making money, and they don’t want to lose, they want to be in profit m whenever they open their wallet but things don’t work like that always, sometimes their will be a correction in the match, people don’t want correction to happen. When the market is red, everyone will be in the social media making noise, but whenever things bounces back, they will keep quiet, and will never complain. I don’t really have much to say about the current market condition, all I know is that If you are holding a coin, then keep on holding it, don’t be discouraged about the current market condition, it’s temporary.

Market will never be confused, we are the holders that feel confused. 
Ideally, if the market should respond the statement of Trump, it should be positive direction, right? In fact, the market looks like to tend declining gradually. I'm also surprised with the response of the market, it is like the opposite one. Well, we have a little pump after Trump stated the crypto reserves, but it only lasted a very short time. After few days, the market kept declining again. Sure, in this situation, it is difficult to determine whether we need to accumulate Bitcoin or altcoins in this time. Some people begin to feel doubtful with the market direction. It is because the pattern of the market movement has been changed a bit significant in this cycle.
