25% of your day is a bit too long for gambling entertainment considering that you have work that consume 8hrs of your life. You have a lot of screen time especially if your work involves computer. If I am you I will decrease my gambling activity and make it limited so that you can feel the excitement due to long break on gambling.

In the past I do daily gambling routine since I do participate on tournaments and other casino bonuses. But right now I only play on weekends and occasionally Friday night since I’m already off at work that time.

Less gambling per week is much better for me to make my game interesting compared to when I play in daily basis.

Yes, most gamblers who do not have other activities, especially work, will definitely gamble more or have more free time to gamble or you could say almost every day at a certain time or hour because some of my friends also like it.

And if I have to answer myself, I gamble only when there is a desire to gamble or there is a sports bet that I think is good for me to bet on, but I gamble more often or you could say routinely, I usually gamble on weekends after I am busy and stressed with work from Monday to Friday and gamble on weekends with football sports betting and just for fun with a few dollars at night, and only for some games that I like, because it can create a sensation and can enjoy the game while watching it.

Mostly is by your bankroll and money, some of player could be just gambling at the time they're having money not by days or hours. I think we are mostly betting on payday are coming like from your signature campaign.

In my case, I gambling my moderator salary from my team to gambling. So, around monthly by just 1-2 days depends on the result.

I have no specific time duration info spend on gambling, since I see it as a means of having fun, what I only consider mostly is my availability for that time to spend on gambling, if am not being occupied for the day, I can go as much as beyond 6 hours gambling, so my gambling time will have to depend on the other related daily tasks ahead of me, which I may also have to attend before or after gambling for the day, once I see am free to gamble, I can go at any length, at least 2 hours and more.

My gambling session is only up to 1 hour and I'm not a regular gambler. So if my gambling budget is $50 and my gambling session is up to 1 hour, I will gamble until I reach one of them, if I lose $50 after 50 minutes, I will stop instead of deposit more money in order to met 1 hour.

But, different people have different character, you might want to keep it balance between work, play and sleep, as long as it doesn't affect your daily life, it should be fine.

If that's your average, that is concerning.

You need to take out of those 16 hours also the house choirs and the things you do for your self like washing and dressing and the eating part, which should be at least two hours for any normal person, then assuming you have a job, even part time that drops your time to at most 8, so you spend half of your left time on gambling, not 1/4.

I would understand if one says I spend 3 hours gambling because you bet on two matches and that time includes watching the said matches live, but actively playing something for 4 hours on average a day seems extreme. I watch horse racing (like I do it right now as I type this) but even I would get bored after 4 hours, and the races are on average 2-3 minutes every 15.

I mean, as long as you typically have a job that caters for your extravagance, you're cool. Also, it doesn't really sound like you're bothered with it -- I mean using 4 hours of your day, although that's a little bit too much for me, IMHO.
Again, I don't see an issue at all... I've seen people sit upright on a camera for 30days straight, doing something way more boring.

I can even go without gambling for a whole week if I have a really busy schedule that takes up my free time. The point is you have to evaluate your free time whether it is more or less? because based on experience and also evaluating activities as a gambler I am very aware of how dangerous it is when you continue to gamble for too long. Even though you feel that the longer it is the merrier but in the end it will lead someone to a situation that is increasingly dependent on gambling.

actually I have no time. It's boring waste time on casino games...so time allocated It could be 0 even for months.
It could be even 12 if there are certain kind of competitions.
Of course it's not easy be able to gamble for such long time, and this happens only in specific situation.

Are you single @OP? if you already have a partner and you can gamble 4 hours daily, it's already a big achievement. You know, most women don't like to see their partners gamble and women likes attraction, hence it's no longer possible to have me time for 4 hours daily.

4 hours daily is too long, better to reduce it to 30 minutes.

If you want to gamble for long duration, you should do it during holiday or weekend.

I do not consider playing poker professionally as gambling (or gambling with negative EV), but I know that traditionally, it is known as a form of gambling (with +EV for professionals). So, as a poker player, it depends upon the day. On weekends, there are lots profitable tournaments, so it's like 8 hours of solid multitabling. On weekdays, I play mostly cash tables at night for a maximum of 2 hours (most of the time spent on table selection).
I don't spend a second of my time or a cent from my own pocket gambling -EV games. If there is some good promotion like no-deposit free spins or some crazy deposit bonus with an easy wagering requirement, I usually give it a try, but it never lasts longer than a few minutes as I cash out very fast. You're not an addictive gambler, but you are a serious gambler. The only time I can play those long hours is on weekends just to relax and shrug off the stress of working in a stressful environment. I usually play on weekends and during the holidays, and when I come home early because of cutoff hours in my workplace, I usually play 2 to 4 hours, or as long as I can sustain my bankroll.

I do the same; I find it boring if you confine yourself to one game playing for hours. I play Crash, dice and coinflip, and other games that caught my fancy.

i don't think i can spend more than 2 hour in gambling and or betting.  what i do is to book games on my mobile phone like 20 to 30 minutes and bet on it. but if the games i want to book are too many then i may spend some time checking those team to see if they worth adding them to my current bet. if i spend much time i don't think if it can exceed 1 hour 30 minute. but if it where to be just playing game for fun like whot ,draft or scrabble that is not for betting money then i can spend more time.

As a person who used to gamble most of my daily time up to 6 or 8 hours a day, this thing was no good for me, it eventually led me to addiction and heavy losses. In your case, if that 25% of your time spent gambling happens just once a week, then I believe it’s acceptable. However, if it’s a daily routine I will strongly suggest taking a break and thinking twice before going down that path more. I can’t guess how much money you lose each month, but dedicating 4 hours a day to gambling is a serious commitment that could easily shift into an issue with the amount of losses.

four hours a day for just gambling? who does that? i have never gambled on a stretch for anything that is close to that. on an average, i take less than an hour to make the decision of the games i am predicting. the other times are just moment when i get involved in bets that are based on my physical training which are not  directly gambling but just sports activity that helps me remain fit, even with that, it is not what i do everyday of the week.

if i invest two hours of my daily time into any form of activity, i will be a pro at it before doing it consistently for just two months. to an extent, if you are gambling up to two hours a day, it is not a good practice that should be encouraged. if you can work on it, it will be better to reduce how long as well as how frequent you gamble. you might not be addicted yet but with time, if you have to gamble everyday of your life for that long, you are headed to becoming an addict.

That’s too much for those who don’t have sufficient amount to gamble, but for someone like you who has higher amount of bankroll, and it’s not played continuously, for me that’s just fine. Most especially if you are into bigger wins than losses, there’s no problem with that.

However, if you are struggling to manage your finances and yet you are gambling 4 hours daily, that’s not reasonable at all. Just gamble even once a week, when you have extra money to gamble and lose it all.

I do not see anything bad there if you are not using much amount of money to gamble. If you gamble with small amount of money, you have no problem. Also if it is not disturbing your work. In most country, daily job work time usually take 8 hours which still leave room for gambling. But not in all cases. But as long your job, financial life and health are not affected, there is no problem.

I gamble just a day or 2 days weekly. That is during weekends.

I didn’t spend my time in daily basis because i am not regular gambler, and i have no enough time to spend in regularly, because i have a job, so i need spend a lot of times here. I am spend 1-2 hours maximum even i gambling for a day in a week, i was player of poker,slots, roulette, crash once a time, but now i would like to only sports betting.
