It appears that this is becoming more clear if Naoya Inoue will fight more tougher opponents heheheh. This causes me to want him to fight John Riel Casimero more, I reckon. I did not like this before because Casimero appears to be a lazy boxer, however, after reading about Inoue's knockdown in this thread, this has gotten me excited to watch the replay.

I did not watch this fight because if I am being honest, I have forgotten about it hehehehe. I also wish that many boxing fans have forgotten about it also, to show the promoters that they need a more known opponent for Inoue. John Riel Casimero is certainly one of them.

If Casimero's left hook had hit Inoue, he might not have made the count, similar to Tete. However, as mentioned earlier, a fight between Casimero and Inoue seems unlikely now. Quadro Alas doesn't have anything that warrants Top Rank's attention, and his trash-talking to Inoue might not work this time, as he has been ignored multiple times by the Japanese Monster.

Casimero's team should demand more from their Japanese promoters or Casimero should join Bob Arum's Top Rank hehehe! This is the only exception that I would argue that boxers should join Bob Arum. It might be easier for Casimero to get his chance if he is under a similar promoter as Inoue.

I'm not really sure, is Casimero still under the Japanese promoter? I thought that the Japanese promoter didn't renew the contract because he was disappointed that Casimero didn't make the weight in his last  fight although he won by a devastating knockout. His Japanese promoter though might not have that kind of influence in boxing and have Casimero fought better fighters so that he will get back the hype as a champion.

I wish the old Bob Arum will change from money grabber to promoter of superfights and I consider Inoue vs. Casimero a type of superfight but a lower type of superfight.

I doubt that, Arum has been in the business for many decades already and he knows the game so much. He had handled a lot of champions before and it seems that he has the formula already for a money grabbing. If Casimero is under Top Rank, maybe Arum will delay the fight as well and then milking it as he can  create the hype and when the right time is there, then we will have this fight. Unfortunately, Casimero doesn't have any bargaining power for a Inoue fight.

Seriously, are there still any chances for this to happen? Because it seems like Casimero were not really that serious in pursuing this match based on his past demeanor.
Casimero has been taunting Inoue, you’d know that if you follow him. So it’s clear Casimero really wants to fight Inoue, but Inoue always seems to have an excuse. Well, it makes sense since he’s the champ and Casimero isn’t even ranked high enough to be a mandatory challenger.

So with that, maybe that fight will just stay a dream for Casimero.
When you do look into social media then there's lots of talks about Casimero and there are even some trashtalks towards Inoue, I dont know if its real or just fake out but considering on how desperate Casimero
wants to fight Inoue then you can definitely say that it could possible This fight wont be able to happen or unlikely considering on the gap in between rankings then its normal for Inoue to have that lost
interest on fighting him.
Casimero has been doing this trash talking ever since. I can't remember when he started, but if you look at it, it's not working as Inoue has been ignoring him and won't likely give him a crack at him. Although I believed that Inoue might stay at 122 lbs for now because of his performance against Cardenas. Imagine if he is hit by a natural 126 lbs, maybe he will get knockout for good.

It will be that remain a dream for Casimero.Instead on always having those bashes and trashtalks in socmed, it will be better that he should thrive on trying to climb up on ranks.
Casimero will have to improved more or need to fight some top opponents so that he will get noticed. But so far, his manager is not doing it for him and so I will agree with you that it will remain a dream for now to see Casimero vs Inoue.

Casimero currently has no ties to any promotional company, as his contract with his Japanese promoter has expired. Given his age, I doubt Top Rank will recruit him. The most viable option for Casimero now is to apologize to MP Promotions president Sean Gibbons, join MPP, and let Gibbons negotiate with Top Rank for a fight with Inoue.

As per post-fight interview, Inoue is planning to stay at the 122-pound division and will not rush moving up so Casimero might catch up on him in the super bantamweight if he rise in the rankings.

I can see Casimero is really sturdy and could win against Inoue but right now, he is just the talkative guy. But one day when they see Casimero has aged and has declined, they might just give this fight a chance.

Or if someone has actually defeated Inoue and his rank drops, they will approve this fight. As for now, they don't see this fight to be necessary after all Inoue is one of the biggest star and Casimero isn't that known.

You can’t blame him; that’s his strategy making Inoue have no choice but to fight him. But Inoue is still firm in his decision to avoid Casimero because he knows there's a huge risk to his career that he's worked so hard to build.

We’ve already seen Inoue’s weaknesses, so for those who think he’ll be a Hall of Famer, forget it , that’s just not going to happen.

He has aged already, 35 years old and probably one or two years he might go on a decline. So if he didn't get the chance on those years, then Inoue will beat him. But like in this 2025, he has a good chance as he is coming from a big knockout win.

But the thing is that Inoue is looking forward for Murodjon for his next fight.

And Casimero's name is not coming around when Inoue is being interviewed. And it seems that Inoue is really ignoring Casimero and it's only in our fantasy that this fight in going to happen.

In addition, Casimero's camp needs to give an offer that Inoue's camp can't refuse.  At this moment Casimero has nothing in hand, just all his trash talk to provoke Inoue which we all know that ineffective.  Worst, this makes Casimero look like a troll, someone who should not be taken seriously.

Instead of bad-mouthing and trash-talking, Casimero should focus his energy on improving his career, climbing the rank, and being the top contender, this way he might possibly trigger a mandatory fight for Inoue's title defense.

I don't think that they can offer Inoue that they can't refuse, I mean Inoue is still the A-side regardless if the fight is in Japan or in the US. And I think Inoue is getting like 80-20 percent in his every fight at least. So maybe 90-10 for Inoue? But that is low balling Casimero and I'm not sure if there is a manager that is willing to give that kind of advantage as they would like to make money as well. The only thing that I can think of is that if Casimero has a manager, then he is the one going to shoulder everything to pay Inoue to face Casimero but it will cost him a lot. And the only one that I can think of someone doing it is HE Turki because he has  a deep pockets and money doesn't matter to him as long as he can put up a great fight and undercard.

I wish the old Bob Arum will change from money grabber to promoter of superfights and I consider Inoue vs. Casimero a type of superfight but a lower type of superfight.

Yes, if Casimero does not to want his life to end similarly with other boxers who have become poor then he should apologize. According to some articles, Sean Gibbons was offering the apology on 2022, however, what happened to this! Also, if he is with MP promotions, he might also train under Memo Heredia again which might help with improvement from the worsening performances.

On Inoue planning to stay on super bantamweight, yes, the knockdown has made it very much appeared that he is not ready to fight bigger boxers. Stephen Fulton is waiting already for his rematch on featherweight hehehehe.

Training with a good conditioning coach like Memo Heredia was crucial for his boxing career. Since Casimero parted ways with Heredia, he has struggled to make weight, as he lacks a professional coach. Even now, the problem is evident, yet they seem unable to address what has gone wrong with him.
