Sometimes it happens to me. Instead of waiting for the outcome of the match, I find myself making plans for how I’ll spend my winnings… but the funny part is, I don’t win in the end! 😅... Are you TOO over-optimistic, or is it just me?

Expecting more than $2000 as the betting site will give you extra amount to win with it. But when the matches start and you lose, you will know that it is just something that will not happen.

that's why we gamble. nobody gambles because “i don't need money, i'll just try it”. everybody has money they want to win, and things they want to do with that money.

even if it's a very large or small amount, why would we gamble without pursuing a dream? that's what's irrational. it's something we naturally want. we all have things that we would buy if we had all our needs met but we had extra money. or things we want to do. it's quite normal to dream about it.

Wrong expectation, because all of this is mostly not going into come, we can't be overconfidence in what we have not achieved yet, boasting on it is of no use, because you're only enticing yourself and as the same time deceiving yourself, when you gamble, you're more likely to lose than to win, so why the stress or dash hope, we celebrate winnings in gambling and not expectations.

It may be a myth, but I've heard people say that if you plan for money before the money comes, the money becomes afraid of coming and never comes especially when it is from unreliable sources like gambling. It can be a lie and a statement just fabricated by someone sitting idle, but oftentimes we've seen that that is the case, and I think the over excitement and optimism towards the money makes emotions sip into the decision-making process thus affecting it. Gambling decisions made with a clear and stable mind have a better chance of being the correct choices.

That's like celebrating too early which means you lost twice in the process. Everybody is optimistic to their bet that they'd win.  I'm even planning what to buy already but because I wait til the money is already on my hands, I'm not going to spend money yet. But sure a plan is a plan. Somehow unexpected things happen even when you're money is on the heavy favorite team.

So far What I do is just add those stuff on my cart just thinking I will check out those cart when I profited. If not then next time.

Yes, as you said, we all have dreams that we must fulfill one by one, if we have the ability to fulfill it all, don't push yourself too hard to realize your dreams if you can't fulfill them, it's only natural for us to dream as long as we can because there's nothing we have to force beyond our own abilities.

Likewise, in seeking profit in gambling, we all have the right to enjoy the results of our hard work in gambling for us to enjoy because we have spent capital at the beginning of the game and when we profit, of course it's all for us to enjoy and if we want to have more profit by playing other games, it's up to us as long as we are able to accept the consequences.

I used to do this when I bet on sports. The thought of this generates a lot of emotions. We can't help it. Unfortunately when the result of the bets is a loss disappointment sets in. Spending your winnings before even playing is just building castles in the clouds. Well, when I use the cash-out option, it is a win for me because I then get to spend the real money even though it may be half of it, it is part of the way to manage my optimism.

Loss on the game because you make use of your money to gamble and the second lost coming as a disappointment because one as unable to win the bet, we should not go for this kind of habit, because we are mostly going to be disappointed and if this gets too much, we may be losing appetite to gamble for more and get thrown into fear each time we are about to gamble and this alone can even cause more for losses to come each time we are gambling, we don't celebrate for victory until we acheive it, though planning is not bad, just for us to know what we are having as target over the utilization, but our mind and hope must not be there too much that we can't afford missing the game we are playing.

Yes, sometimes. It's also because I already hit a lot of huge multipliers which is why sometimes I do imagine what I will buy once I hit that same multiplier again. I don't think it's wrong to be optimistic and have some plans for what you will do with the money once you get it. We are playing for that purpose and it's better that way so that we have a goal and we will absolutely withdraw our money once we get it because we badly want to buy a certain thing that will make us happy. Sadly, I have never hit a high multiplier again. I have some good plans on what to do with it once I receive it.

It is a normal human phenomenon that is carried out unconsciously. You actually gamble with the expectation of winning and not only winning but winning a certain amount and that is why you bet certain amount because you target how much you want to win with the stake you involve in it. So it is not an aberration, almost every gambler do it but the difference is the rate of hallucination may differ. If you are indepted to someone, you may also target to repay such person with the winning so you can keep doing wishful thinking about how you are going to repay the money if you winning.

its a normal case among gamblers, we often become overly excited and optimistic about the games we play, hoping to use the money we would win to do one or two things in our lives after we may be lucky to win huge, perhaps its not as simple as we thought. when i was new to gambling i was wining frequently and a thought came to me that if i continue like this, maybe i could win a jackpot and probably start an investment and my life will never remain the same again and i will stop gambling for life like it was as easy as i thought, but now i have known what gambling really is. so we shouldn't be over excited about the outcome we expect from gambling when we haven't even seen the result, because that will leave us with fake or false hope.

If you are just dreaming of what you will do with your win, that's not bad. Almost all gambler have plans to win big and use their money for certain projects. But it become a problem when you buy things on credit or take a loan because you believe that you are going to win. I heard that Mike Tyson usually buys things on credit before a fight, hoping that he would win the fight. He becomes indebted when he loses the fight. Although I gamble with small funds my target is to hit the jackpot and I can attest that I have plans for it.

This is similar, I think it's quite stupid to dream or prepare with your unrealized winnings because in life, we're already received so many rejections and loses. Hence, people no longer expect anything as they've prepared for the worst.

This is like what I experienced in parlay betting... by betting a small amount then having big odds in the parlay but unfortunately in the first match that was chosen even lost... haha this is like an unlucky start.

While gambling, the thought of how and where to spend the winnings often arises in the mind. I have found that when I bet and there is a possibility of winning, the mind automatically thinks that I will do something with this money and this type of thought comes naturally. As a result of this type of thinking, many people may not win in gambling, while many may win and they may spend according to their thoughts. However, this type of thinking may arise in big gamblers compared to small gamblers like us because they may be more prone to this type of thinking due to their large amount of money and high probability.

I won around 40k a while ago and made a withdrawal. I then gambled away that 40k on another casino, thinking that my withdrawal would come through and offset my loss.

However, I’m still waiting for my withdrawal, and in total, I may have lost 80k - 40k from gambling, plus the 40k I won but haven’t received yet.

I have always find myself doing this sometimes, especially when I have the mindset of winning the game. It only worked once for me. After several expectations, and my win doesn't come to reality, I stopped having such plans until I win my bet.

I think every gambler experience this stage which they are day dreaming of something to purchase when they won huge amount. This is a good part of gambling which users can fantasize on their potential outcome and making it come true via gambling.

I only stop dreaming after facing harsh reality that it’s too hard to win in gambling due to the house edge and my limited bankroll.

Honestly, experiencing a devastating losses shut down any form of dreaming in myself.
