There are many different reasons of being rich and poor of persons in life because every person face different challenges in life and they always different criteria. Poor people always think about money and then spend it on my needs . Rich people always take debt for the business and they double the money by investing other people money. They take loans from the banks and then they give them interest on their loan . That is risky if you have no knowledge and you could be bankrupt. If person is poor ,he should change his mindset which will be important step for him.Many people had  money but they lost that because they did not understand the game of investment and they did not invest at good opportunity and lost everything.

Having to learn about the mistakes and getting to hear their experiences that led to their failure (poverty after being rich previously) could be helpful. For not having the results (wealth) doesn't make them not have relevant experience to learn from to avoid making yours. You could learn in 5 minutes what someone used over 5 years to gain as experience in failure.

I get your point @Op, learning from both parties can provide a more comprehensive understanding of what works and what doesn't work, we have been taught to only associate ourselves or take advice from people who have made it or from only successful people but we forget that those who have been successful and failed are the ones with the real advice that prepares us on how not to make any mistake that could cost us dearly. If we Associate with both parties we get a chance to learn from their experiences and use their knowledge to make our journey to success easier. I had an uncle that was very rich (a politician) he had everything within his reach but now he has nothing in his name and when I got to talk to him I found out that he had no investments, not even a little investment to sustain him and his family now that he has been sacked from office. I got to learn from him that no matter how much you are being paid in your office work, it is also important to have investments just in case.

Well, I knew I was going to add to my knowledge about this topic sharing it here in the forum order than just leaning on my own perspective about it. With a cross section of different opinions of users as I read them my scope becomes wider than when I first watched the video that led to me coming up with this topic.

While we endeavour to pilot our own business to move it to a greater height we should understand that we would not possibly get to encounter all the risks involved in that business line, how ever we do, there are those which we may not survive from on experiencing it, and which perhaps was what led to the downfall of someone else that was in that line of business before you. I think it's not just the challenges that differentiate them, the skills and passion to continue learning that I think are very prominent in this case. Yes, the difference is that poor people are afraid to start, in their minds what if their business fails and how to rebuild it, all businesses must require a lot of capital. Rich people are experienced in their business, they have gone through difficult times, why do they dare to take money from the bank to continue developing their business, of course they have more than 1 source of income and to pay the installments between one business and another if they get profit they cover each other. I listen to both. While these people that have experienced failures, they're not totally in a failed state because they only tell you what you don't want to hear. No one will share their experience step by step, so, you can't really learn from someone's experience unless you grew up in that family and had a very close relationship with the person but some nice experiences can be gained from others by reading their shared stories.

By the way, I agree with you. The experience of those who tried hard in life and failed matters a lot because success doesn't only come from hard work, it partially comes from luck. Every successful person was very lucky besides being a very hard worker and dedicated, so, there might be some less successful people with better experience but worse luck that worth considering.

I can learn from what led to your failure and understand to know not to fall into same mistake as you had it is a simple logic. I'm not learning about your failure, I'm learning about the mistakes you made so I don't make mine, so it's not like going to people who have failed it's  a waste of time is neither a waste of energy in this regard. We can find positive things amidst negative situations, it's all in the mindset and to what your mind is focused on picking out from a failures' story.
