If i get you correctly you’re trying to say that DCA by investors will help stop or reduce the circulation of supply been centered to few large portfolio which can actually reduces market manipulation, personally I agree with the first statement that many investors buying bitcoin using DCA method are actually helping in dispersing bitcoin circulation but in terms of market manipulation I don’t think some investors no matter how they DCA can actually have effect.

Although bitcoin already isn’t manipulatable because it is already in decentralized circulation but aside this if it wasn’t the big portfolio will still have the manipulating power. You just have to understand as well that DCA can be used by whales and not just by average investors like the majority of us. And I'm not sure if it will reduce some kind of monopoly or control by entities.

Bitcoin is too big right now to be controlled by anyone, not by government and certainly by whales. Just used DCA as you see fit and obviously, it's more of the most effective strategy that we can used here as a investors. You don't have to overthink that manipulation, just go simply invest at your own phase. If there is manipulation, it's not going to last in this market.

that sounds like a good idea until you realize large portion of people who did DCA put their money on the exchange, never moving it to hardware wallet or anything in which they got full control of private key.
basically making your bitcoin in custody of the exchange in which can be used by certain entity to influence the market.

the only way to do what you described is DCA-ing directly using paper wallet or hardware wallet, basically owning our own coin in literal sense.

Obviously, the DCA methord has more advantage than just helping a single investor buy at the different market condition, it makes you feel like a boss and enables you achieve far more result than you can ever think yourself capable of achieving at the time you started investing.

The effect of having a lot of small scale investing doing DCA more often will keep the market going smoothly more towards a bullish direction so the actions of the whales don't necessarily have to always have a sharp impact on the market. of course everyone has their own way to get bitcoins, some with Average down, Lump sum and DCA, but in my opinion any strategy is good as long as we intend to invest in btc for the long term and of course all techniques and methods of accumulating btc of course in my opinion have advantages and disadvantages.

I also agree with you, and at the same time, I get the point that the OP is making: those $10 and hundreds of dollar DCA purchases from single investors around the world might not appear to be much if looked at individually, but if the total number of people doing that little purchase is added together, there will be a big number that sums up that can't just easily be overlooked. It won't be anything or cause any effect like the single purchase of institutional investors with larger capital, but it's still worth it to reduce how much those investors hold and control.

I think Dollar Cost Averaging is a great idea and I recommend it to everyone instead of just FOMO'ing in.  It has mental benefits too as it helps you to keep an open mind on the price.  When in dips, instead of being totally frustrated that your nest egg is disappearing, you are able to easily identify the silver lining in that you are now going to stack more BTC going forward.  Not to mention that it is less straining on you financially to buy small amounts over a long period of time, as opposed to buying a large stack at once.

I don't think this will truly help with any "monopoly like effects" like you suggest here.  I assume you mean when large business or whales buy or sell such sizable amounts that it moves the market in and of itself.  If this is what you mean, DCA'ing will never help with this as those whale orders know how much money is going in to the markets on average.  I mean it should help but overall I'm not sure we are close to this being a legit strategy.

You are correct the DCA strategy is highly recommended for investor to accumulate Bitcoin with expecially to low coiner or low income earners who can not be able to accumulate Bitcoin in large quantities or who find it difficult to lump sum now the DCA can enable them to accumulate gradually either accumulating Evey weeks or every months and one can able buy irrespective of the price of BTC consistently and persistently and continue to hold for a longer period of time.

From what you saying here, does it mean El Salvador buying huge amount of Bitcoin daily either through DCA or not is manipulating the market price since it's a higher portfolio, or similarly with the Nation reserving Bitcoin with huge quantity is certainly aiming to manipulate the market to their own benefits?

To me, this can't distract or affect the market in anyway because Bitcoin market is a volatile one that doesn't rely on one source or something to surge down or high the price. The current price of Bitcoin is depreciating but El Salvador is keeping on buying Bitcoin everyday, why can't the market remain going higher as the case may be or to what rumors are saying, No.

Pretty much agree with you. First of all, DCA teaches us how to be patient and not to be a crazy buyer. I am not talking about whales or institutions. They have different strategies to accumulate Bitcoin, though a few institutional investors follow the DCA strategy. This strategy works very well for us as small investors. Everyone we are involved with has some business or job, so we don't have big funds to accumulate Bitcoin at once. Besides, it's less risky to invest; DCA reduces pressure on investors. But at the end, we can gain a handsome amount of Bitcoin by following the DCA strategy.
