Sending ethereum - did I make a mistake here?

Hello. I have a question regarding transaction I made. Yesterday I sent ethereum from one wallet to trust wallet and Everything was fine. Today I made another transfer to the same address, however 30 minutes later the ethereum does not appear. So did I make a mistake by sending to the same address, or I should have clicked on receive in trust wallet in order to check a new eteherum address. These are links to both transactions.

I mean the one you sent yesterday 47 hours ago and the one you sent 30+ hours ago; if I’m correct, you should check the transaction as it has already been confirmed and should be available in your wallet now, as I can see it in your wallet through the block explorer.

But the transaction you made yesterday you also move the ETH out just almost immediately after you sent it to this address: 0xC911A0F3f50F1394AA648C8a4808BA889F099DD6

How many wallets do you have logged into your Trust Wallet? I'm asking if you might have switched to another wallet instead of the one in question since Trust Wallet has the option to move from one wallet with a different key to the other.

If you are sure it's the same wallet that you are using, I will advise you to try updating your Trust Wallet app and see if the balance will appear, as the transaction you did is still currently in your wallet balance; balance not displaying might be from the app error.

And if the above option doesn't work, I will suggest you try using the Metamask wallet by importing your key through it. It's another altcoin-friendly wallet, but be careful while doing it and do not expose your wallet phrase to danger.

Almost all the altcoins wallets are generating only one address. Including Trust wallet.

You sent it to the correct address or at least your own address. If you do not see it, import the seed phrase on wallet like Metamask or Unstoppable wallet.

I have seen people that have this issue in the past.

Thanks for your reply, however I still do not have access to the ethereum. I have connected metamask as you implied and it shows 1.07$ balance, just like what trust wallet shows and the second transaction is not available for me

As of when I posted this, your balance is $215.44.

I am not using Metamask but make sure you are on ethereum chain which is ERC20.

Make sure the address is correct. Check for the address after you import the seed phrase to make sure it is the right wallet.

I prefer to use Unstoppable wallet for some altcoins.

Have you ever used OKX wallet? If not, try importing your wallet to OKX wallet.
This case has happened before and it seems like a bug in trust wallet.

If later after you import your wallet to OKX and your ETH is still not visible, try clicking the send ETH button and see if your balance has appeared.

Have you checked among all the tools you have used to import your wallet? Have you checked the receiving address if it's the same as the one you sent your coin to? You might be importing the wrong wallet, which is the reason why your balance is not appearing both on Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and Unstoppable Wallet. Try checking the ETH receiving address to confirm if you are on the right wallet first. Let us know where your problem is coming from.

Is the address which you believe has your funds generated in both trustwallet and metamask? You can check this by clicking on the receive button. If they differ, then there's a slight problem. I think you have multiple accounts with trustwallet so you are confused about which one is holding your funds

Try creating multiple accounts on metamask and check if the next few show you any ETH balance.

That's weird and honestly after importing this wallet into 3 different wallets this is vulnirable to online attacks.

Anyway once we found the issue make sure to create a new wallet and move this funds to a new wallet.

By checking this address 0xf551761206bbeac37a4e5d4b2d8f41a6797557f2 you should have the balance. However, in your wallet it only shows $1.07.

Here's what I think maybe this $1.07 is just the price of your total amount but it stuck. Check your wallet to see if it shows 0.11714045691937 ETH. If I am not mistaken, the issue may be that the price has become stuck and you are unable to retrieve an updated price with your current balance.
Why not try to make a transaction from this wallet?


Or maybe there's  a congestion on the current network but I couldn't see any sign.

Would you mind to try to change the node settings on the trust wallet and connect to other node.

OP, I just checked as well and just as others have confirmed, the balance is in your address. I went further to check transaction type, it was a simple native ETH transfer so it should've been a non-issue from the get-go.

If you have access to a desktop, I'll suggest using Rabby wallet. Then just check ETH balance on your wallet rather than checking for an $ value.

You sure you're still using the same address and not changing it at some point? because speaking from on chain data your ETH is in your address, if you have backup of your wallet maybe you can use that to access your address if somehow you accidentally generated other wallet.

there are few possibilities, your RPC isn't properly fetching your balance, you accidentally generated new wallet, or you didn't set your wallet network properly.
try to check your trust wallet address and see if it's still the same.

It simply means you are accessing a different trust wallet account. That's why you are seeing no ETH.

Try this, in the current wallet/account page. Click on the gear link settings button at the top left and the click on the first option that is "wallets". You will then be able to see a list of wallets if you created many. Select them one by one and see if any ETH balance comes up after a few seconds of syncing

If the address is correct with the address you are willing to send your etherium to, then there is nothing wrong with your transaction, the delay might be because of the network congestion.

This your transaction above just get confirmation 15 seconds ago, it means the transaction is successful and it should have appeared in your wallet by now since it has been confirmed.
The delay might have been due to high network fee and maybe when you broadcast the transaction, the fee is a bit low that’s why it will have to wait for other transactions with higher fee to be confirmed first.

It simply means you are accessing a different trust wallet account. That's why you are seeing no ETH.

Try this method.

Download this site/tool - https://iancoleman.io/bip39/.
After downloading it, make sure your browser, PC, or device is offline and then enter the backup phrase of your wallet inside the "BIP39 Mnemonic" box.

After that, scroll down under coin and select Ethereum.

Scroll further down under derived addresses. You will a list of Ethereum addresses. Check the first few addresses to see if any matches with the one that has your money. If it doesn't, then you are using the wrong backup phrase.

Please close the website or clear the browsing data before connecting back to the internet.

Have you tried to export your privatekey from your trustwallet? You can try to import it in the different wallet such as mycrypto. If you're unable in getting your privatekey, then take your phrase.

Sometimes, your balance disappear due to the bug at front end. It may appear once you import your wallet to the another wallet. You can try mycrypto wallet.
