Which P2P exchange do you prefer and reasons

Binance was the go to exchange for many Nigerians when it comes to P2P trades but ever since the market was removed, other alternatives like Bybit, Bitget, Kucoin, Mexc have emerged.

Personally, I've only used Bitget after Binance and I've noticed that the exchange charges fee for P2P trade like in the screenshot below and this is something that was free in Binance.



I'd like to know your experiences in other exchanges offering p2p trades and which would you consider the best.

Currently, I’m using both Bybit and Bitget. Mostly Bybit because I’ve never experienced any problems with their services and I also have one of the best trading experiences. I do see some people complaining about their services and how the traders there often resort to begging. Although I’ve experienced one time when a buyer begged/requested that he sends me an incomplete amount, but when I disagreed, and told him to send the complete amount, he did so and there was no further complaints. And that was the first and last time I ever experienced anything of sort.

The only functional P2P markets that listed the NGN are Bitget and Bybit with traditional platforms like Remitano and Luno. There are others but these four are the once I can trust and recommend for anyone. Those of use that trade Bitcoin can use MEXC for trading because they have one of the best trading condition but whenever you want to convert to NGN, the Bitget and Bybit are the best so far but you must be extremely careful because scammers are actively involved in the business.

Bybit was my first choice exchange untill I started experience some tricky attempt to being scammed and tried bitget which seems to be a better option than bybit. Coupled with the recent hack issue, I've chosen to allow things go back to normal before going back to it but Bitget has been really moderate and offers quite seamless transaction that handlly takes time before receiving your payment. Since both exchange are the ones that are functioning really well at the moment, either of them can serve you well only that basic precautionary measures like not trading huge amount at a time will help you stay protected from any scam attempt. No serious scammer will go after an amount that's somehow insignificant to an extent.

To be honest binance will always remain the best is sad that they don’t longer offer those services in our country, well now I prefer using both bitget and Bybit but I usually make use of bitget despite the fee , aslong it’s offers a smooth p2p process is all good , beside the fee isn’t that much so something you can easily pay most time , but Bybit also good but due to some much complains have heard I was force to minimize the way I use Bybit.

Not Bitget that is charging the fee but the buy and seller that created the their ads. Not all buyers and sellers that charge the fee. Sometimes the fee can be high but you can change the vendor because you will see the fee before you proceed.

I have compared the exchange before and I see Bybit to have better price. But probably this could change because not the exchange that is setting the price but the ads owner.

Yeah, it's really making things seeming so confusing and manipulative especially for the sellers, it's awful to see buyers always trying to exhibit some sort of sketchy behavior towards making payments. How can a buyer be sending part payment and chatting sellers that they can't pay full amount for some reasons like market price affecting their profits. Wetin concern me with your profits, pay wetin show for screen biko. This behavior dey really pissed me off.

Well i think for some times now i have been trading some coin and some transaction with them for awhile and i have not experienced any unprofessionalism with them for awhile and i have not noticed any funny moves with thier  p2p exchange well when i was to choose a p2p exchange it took me awhile to get used to ByBit, i guess the factor of lesser fees made me trade my coin with ByBit and it security and some user experience made me trade with them and since then it has been a wonderful journey with them.

I don’t know where OP get him own information from because as I Dey do p2p transaction in Bybit no any any charges, I no see any exchange wey Dey charge for P2P transaction and apart from Binance them get some exchange wey we Dey manage like KuCoin and they later removed the market, even as e hard reach say Nigerian no like all this P2P transaction I believe say there will never be a charges and if to say charges Dey no be today the matter go cast.

I am familiar with all the exchanges you’ve mentioned above. But I have never used any of them for p2p transactions except Bybit. Bybit came into existence and I opened account with them only when Binance p2p was stopped and also that of OKX. Those two never asked for transaction fees and their services were great. Likewise Bybit that most Nigerians also use now including me, I have never seen any fees being charged when transacting in p2p. I have heard of Bitget p2p but I’ve never for ones tested it since I have no problem with Bybit I’m using now for such transactions. The user experience is great and I feel it has more users on board than Bitget when it comes to p2p just that you’ve to be careful with scammers advertising there too, rechecking before selling of your coins is important there to avoid been scammed.

Since I don’t Dey use p2p, na only Binance, KuCoin, and bybit I don use before. When I start na Binance I start with, but as government coke start with their wahala wey dem no allow fit make use of the p2p again, then I come switch to KuCoin, e no really too far before dem block us also, then I come switch to bybit, since KuCoin block us, na bybit I Dey use now. The only thing wey Dey be say, I no really see any difference among the three, I see them as the same, and I no go really fit talk say na one make sense pass, because all get similar futures.

Bitget do charge a fee. Maybe it's been long you used the service. I just checked now and the P2P fee charge came into effect starting from 9th Oct, 2024.

I'm not too comfortable with local exchange. I had a terrible experience with Luno and I swore never to use it again.

I they use remitano, bybit and Bitget but nah Bybit I they use pass, since Binance and kucoin don comot for line I don replace them with the two way I mention, Bybit they give me best rate compare to watin I they see for remitano even as people they complain of the bad experience for Bybit I still they carry on my deal but I they sabi careful, I they only use remitano if eh be say the transaction way I wan do big and I wan diversify am make the risk reduce.

First I was using kucoin before NGN was delisted from it's p2p but I am currently using bitget and I find it more convenient to use. Although I have tried using bybit but had kyc problem on sign up, but apart from that bitget has been my current p2p exchange and I have been enjoying it for a long time. For me the added charges does not matter provided my coin can be exchanged to fiat. I  even discover that sometimes when you send crypto from any exchange to bitget, It looks like the value has drop alot, but after u sell it and exchange in p2p your price value in Fiat will increase. There is something about the bitget price in p2p I like about that is why I stick to it. I don't know for anyone else but I love it.

It wasn't only Binance that deleted NGN p2p from their exchange, I believe it's been over a year since KuCoin delisted NGN p2p; perhaps you didn't focus on the local board when people complained about KuCoin deleting NGN p2p. I noticed that even people who have previously used Mexc have said that it doesn't have NGN p2p.

Furthermore, I've never used Bitget for p2p since everything about the exchange looks to be quite slow to me, one time, I made a withdrawal from the exchange and it took about 8 hours for me to get it on another exchange. I've only used KuCoin and Bybit since Binance disabled NGN p2p, and none of the two exchanges has charged me a fee for p2p transactions  To be honest; I have no idea how others feel about Bitget because I do not like the exchange.

Exchanges are not very important to me. Because I don't use exchanges much. I usually use Bybit as an exchange only for buying and transferring assets to decentralized wallets. The use of exchanges in my life is only a few minutes. Only as long as it takes to buy tokens/bitcoins and make transactions in decentralized wallets. Maybe I will gain more skills about exchanges when I get involved in P2P trading. In general, I don't need P2P trading much at the moment. But so far I haven't seen any problems with the Bybit I use.

I haven't used many exchanges. But I have heard of Bybit, Bitget, Kucoin and Binance. I use Binance. In my opinion, every exchange considers the convenience of the user first. I have been using Binance recently and I can complete my required tasks very easily. So far I have not encountered any bugs or problems. But, I would like to know which exchanger is always better to use by using other excengers myself.
