Which P2P exchange do you prefer and reasons

Binance was the go to exchange for many Nigerians when it comes to P2P trades but ever since the market was removed, other alternatives like Bybit, Bitget, Kucoin, Mexc have emerged.

Personally, I've only used Bitget after Binance and I've noticed that the exchange charges fee for P2P trade like in the screenshot below and this is something that was free in Binance.



I'd like to know your experiences in other exchanges offering p2p trades and which would you consider the best.

I don't know whether the problem is from my end but I have never used bitget P2P service successfully. I have made several attempts to try their P2P service but always end up with error message telling me they're too many orders at the moment and I should try again later. Mind you, I have set up everything necessary and also try different vendors but the problem persists that usually force me to transfer out my assets to bybit. Therefore, bybit remains the best for me when it comes to P2P transaction.

I haven't noticed this P2P charges in bybit but I know about kucoin charges when withdrawing assets in compliance with federal government. I wonder if all these exchanges are operating under the same federal government law or not because I don't understand why some due deduct fees for transactions and others do not.

The fee they too much if them ask me because I they consider people way they withdraw very small amount, e get people way they withdraw 2k and from my calculation this fee is approximately NGN400 which means for 2k the person will be getting only NGN1,600 e they  big, but if na those way they withdraw 50k to 100k e no mean anything for them because the fees no they move based on the amount way person they withdraw, so this go only affect those low amount withdrawals.

Although no be because of binance ceasing P2P exchange na in make other exchange come they use P2P because when binance P2P was existing bybit been also they there they do there things but the difference be say bybit no come get clients like binance because na only that one they give people more of waiting them need.

Been using Bybit since Binance shutdown. I have also used Bitget 2-3 times — I still recommend Bybit. But you have to be very careful with who you chose to trade with so you don't fall prey to those annoying scammers over there. Bybit is more or less like localbitcoins from back in the day that was infested by scammers but you can still have problem-free trades over there.

As a bonus, Fees on Bybit P2p are zero. 0. Nada.

Kucoin and MEXC do not have crypto/naira P2P.

Bybit does not charges fee but people are reporting something not good about Bybit P2P of exchange. I have used the exchange many times but no problem yet probably because I do what is needed when I saw someone that wants to scam.

Bybit was my first choice exchange untill I started experience some tricky attempt to being scammed and tried bitget which seems to be a better option than bybit. Coupled with the recent hack issue, I've chosen to allow things go back to normal before going back to it but Bitget has been really moderate and offers quite seamless transaction that handlly takes time before receiving your payment. Since both exchange are the ones that are functioning really well at the moment, either of them can serve you well only that basic precautionary measures like not trading huge amount at a time will help you stay protected from any scam attempt. No serious scammer will go after an amount that's somehow insignificant to an extent.

With the way Bitget has really improved their P2P trading, it will be difficult for someone to get scammed there. I even observed that any trader that is speculating more than what the rate is going in the official market, get restricted immediately. You can't go to Bitget and be listing your trade with higher rate than what is obtainable in the official market.They have observed that people who does this  have the potential to scam people. I must say that Bitget is the most preferred P2P market for me. And even when you have bulk trades, and you don't feel comfortable or finding it difficult to find a trusted merchant you can make use of their express trading option. There Bitget management will give you someone they trust that you can trade with. This is really a game changer for me, you know someone that the management selected on their own and recommends for you simply means that your transaction is safe, no matter how huge the transaction might be.

I haven't seen any exchange that takes charge while doing p2p and i am sure people won't use it that much because of the charge, nobody wants to be paying charge. And for your question, my best and favorite exchange is Bybit, it is so easy and user friendly, you no need too much corner corner before you go trade and they no go even charge you if you wan do p2p just that ah don experience so kind funny funny things wey buyer no go send money complete and if you no dey careful you go rush release coin. Binance dey complex to use do p2p.

I've used it a couple of times and I've never had this kind of issue. Perhaps, you should talk to their support about it.

You're right. Imagine if someone wanted to trade $5,100 dollars, it means Bitget would collect about $26 as fee and that's way too much if you ask me.

Yeah that's one of the reasons why most traders there are restricted, besides other reasons. But the one that's makeing most of the traders, even reputable traders get restricted is because they violated this. You remembered on of the reasons that made the federal government banned binance and other exchange P2P was that, traders were speculating higher rates as against what was is obtainable in the official market. So Bitget management learned from that, and made sure there is sanity in their platform.

Most times we should consider successfull trading and safety of our transactions over high rates. Most people do enter problems in P2P is because of chasing high rates. Sometimes the difference is not always more than #10 to #20. But that being said, the rates at the express option is not low, it's always the same with that of the P2P,  the rate they will first tell you as the reference rate, is not usually the rate they go with. They go with the official rate when you are choosing the bank account thetrader will send your money. When you get to that stage, just be observant, and you will see what I am talking about.

I'm just new to using Bitget p2p recently, after I had an issue with Remitano, which happens to have been the second exchange I'm using, ever since Binance p2p was removed due to our government's unfavorable policies. But however, I have never given given such details about p2p fees a second thought, since we all know how our Nigerian government have been seeking taxations from these crypto exchanges that offer services here in Nigeria. My brother normally as you don talk already, na binance nai be our number one choice for we country before federal government carry their wahala chase them out of we country, so after binance left, I have to open bybit account account even when no be really my mind, but since na them be the best available options among exchange, so since then, na bybit I dy use, people dy complain about how scammers full for bybit p2p services but honestly I never fall for such because I believe say I dy do the right thing, which is not releasing any of my asset till I see money inside my opay account.

The only day then for scam me na when I be wan withdraw some usdt like that, e come out 33k plus, instead of the person to send me the 33k plus, him send me #3300 plus the fraction wey dy on top, when him come dy ask me to release, I tell am say the money never complete, so him say make e check am, so him later chat me back am be apologizing saying na mistakes, then him come send the remaining balance, before I release the coin, but take note, when it comes to p2p services, e no matter which exchange you dy use, if you no shine your eye, them go use you cashout, so we need to dy very careful when doing p2p because it's not about exchange, it's more of carefulness and concentration.

My most preferable exchange was Binance until federal Govt Clampdown on the Exchange, so after Binance stop rendering P2P services to Nigeria, I had to start Using Bybit Exchange for all my P2p transactions til date.

The first day wey I used Bybit P2p to sell my Usdt, I bin won sell $22 wey I get from the then Hamster Kombat airdrop,as I withdraw the funds I com dey wait for the person to send the money,as I dey wait nah so the person chat me up to Release coin,I com tell am say I Neva received the money wey him transfer,the person com tell me say, him don send the money already say na network dey cause am, say make I release the coin say later the money go drop,I com tell am say if i no see the money I no go release the assets, after some time,the guy com send the money to me.

So you see how this guy try to scam me if to say I no dey wise na so I for take fall victim to this scam.
E good make we dey very careful when we dey use P2p service especially from Bybit Exchange so that make we no fall for this scammers.

For now there's no perfect Centralized Exchange in Nigeria because all of them their vendors dey negotiate price with sellers. And all of them dey charge fee for trading. And all the exchange (CEX) dey charge when we dey convert coins to another coin and before it was not like this. And as it is na you go o ow which one e good goe you to trade because all the once I am using now e dey di same. The easiest one might not be easy in another person. So you can use either Bybit, Bitget, Yellow Card and others.

Bybit has been the best so far for me. I’ve been using it for three years I never experienced any issues with it na something we dey very easier and straight forward to me .

After Binance Delisted NGN from their pair it became a bit tougher where most people have to moved from Binance to Bybit and for years now Bybit has so much gain a lot of interest from the Nigerian market. Although there are some other exchange which people are using but I have not been that noticeable about the said exchange.
Bitget exchange, I don't know how reliable they could be while using them to execute p2p trade as I have never used them before.
