In my experience, if he deposited from a trust wallet to a trust wallet, then it's usually "in account" transfer (i dont have a better name for it). But the way it works, it's a same client, and funds just get moved internally, leaving no trace on the blockchain. I used to do it before with BTC client, and had no issues
Are you sure you used Trust Wallet and not your Binance account to make those transactions? What you described sounds like an internal transfer, a feature available on Binance (and some other centralized exchanges) where transactions are processed off-chain.
Although Trust Wallet is closed-source and owned by Binance, it is still a non-custodial wallet. This means transactions cannot be made off-chain, as there is no way to determine whether an address was generated by Trust Wallet or not.

Regarding OP’s issue, you can check Trust Wallet’s community and you will see that users have been complaining about it for years, yet nothing has been done to resolve it until now.

Someone was to deposit my trust wallet, which he claimed to have made already. I observed and noticed an increase in my balance and checked the wallet history but only found the last deposit that I made a few weeks back with no date indicating that another payment has come after that.

Is it possible to receive a deposit without a history of the deposit that comes with the date the deposit has been made?

Are you sure your network is stable? It could either be a network issue or a bug with Trust Wallet. I’ve encountered this problem many times since I use Trust Wallet as my hot wallet. First, try resetting your router and see if that helps. If the issue persists, it may be related to Trust Wallet.

Lately, Trust Wallet has felt more like a joke to me because it seems to have one bug after another. The most recent issue involved transaction fee adjustments, which were incredibly problematic. Unfortunately, there aren’t many better options out there for someone like me who is a multi-user. For now, I have to deal with these bugs, but I hope the team will address these issues in future updates.

Well it could be dust that was sent by a scammer. Or could be a coin sent from a mixer or tumbler which has no trace. For me any coin sent to a wallet without a trace expecialy without date, it is likely to be a scam attempt. Even though it could be a network error that caused it according to one of the commenters, but to me any coin sent to a wallet without any real information is a threat to be.

I think the very first reply has it figured out and has giving you the answer to your question.
Trust wallet seem to have too many issues, not just on transaction history, but also with displaying balances. From the last incident that I encountered, I thought maybe my phone or my wallet had been hacked, which wasn't the case at all. Sometimes, reinstalling and importing your keys might work, but other times, it might not, which was my last experience, before figuring out a way to get my funds out of it, and then deleting the app for good.

One of these is the cause;
  • Network delay
  • Outdated wallet app
Do one of the following;
  • Check through explorer
  • Update your app

I have been through something similar to this when I was still using trust wallet, it wasn't a pleasant feeling and I almost had a fall out with a close friend, I found out later that it was network issues. My balance increased too without indicating any info about the deposit and I thought it was a scam attempt, I actually thought my friend was trying to scam me. It seems like using trust wallet to store Bitcoin is not suitable if you used it for Bitcoin @OP.

I never experience that issue on trust wallet there might be a reason why this happen. I also heard someone having issue using Trust wallet that his balance stuck and can't sync properly with the latest balance.

I tried to check the wallet and it seems trust wallet is javing some issue.
Look at the image below:

This might be the cause of your case.

But like the above said you shouldn't be worry you can check your real-time balance directly to any block explorer like mempool.space

I don't know why they are having this issue based on the image above when I check the mempool.space the networks seems fine.
I had same similar conflicting balance issue with my Trust Wallet few months, whereby a BTC was sent into my wallet, I noticed the balance increased, but the BTC wasn't reflecting in my transaction history, and likewise vice-versa, as a transaction history will be shown, and yet not reflecting in my balance. And I was also having great issue with sending my Bitcoin whenever the mempool was congested. So the solution I did was to import my Trust Wallet Seed phrase into "BlueWallet" which happens to be a Bitcoin wallet. And since then, I can confidently say that my transactions have been less stressful and fast. So I highly recommend you to import your wallet into either Electrum or BlueWallet to avoid network congestion delay.

What you did is fine switching to another wallet but importing the seed phrase and use it for the long term is not a good idea since TrustWallet still buggy, and closed source, and I don't think it is a good idea to use the same seed? What you think?

If I were you since you imported your wallet from Trustwallet to Bluewallet, I suggest transfer the funds immediately to the newly created wallet on Bluewallet for safety purposes.

Oh my gosh. Could you believed I never thought that way. Because I was just so carried away that I forget. But however, all thanks to your candid suggestion, as I look forward to swapping my funds very soon from Trust Wallet to the newly created BlueWallet. Thanks,

yeah. I have just checked the explorer, and it appears the transaction is reflected on the explorer with the date the sender made the transaction. I guess it might be an update issue from the trust wallet or likely a network related glitch.
As long as the transaction isn't confirmed on the blockchain, the sender can replace it anytime to send coins to another target or back into it's own wallet. Never trust an unconfirmed transaction until it is actually confirmed.

I wouldn't want to trust a closed-source wallet that has or needs "trust" in its name.

You can definitely check Block Explorer for this and if you check your tansection, you will definitely see the date there. However, the Trust Wallet will only show that you have made a transaction, but will not show any date on your transaction.

I noticed that with Trustwallet yes, sometimes the last payment doesn't seem to show right away for some reason.
Maybe I have not used Trustwallet long enough to observe this, but I imagine that just like our regular bank applications that sometimes experience network glitch, wallets can also experience the same.
We may be more alarmed by this because there is no customer care representative to directly make inquiries from just like normal banks have.
Good thing that there is something like the block explorer for this.

Seriously, why would you use a wallet that exhibits sync issues from time to time without explainable reasons? If a wallet is somewhat notorious for sync problems, don't use it, if you don't know why it doesn't sync properly.

Light wallets (no own blockchain data) depend on their server peer to get updates about transactions concerning the wallet's addresses. If e.g. the connected Electrum server is bad and unreliable, this part is to blame. The wallet (or user) should choose a better, more reliable Electrum server instead.

But if we can exclude issues from connected blockchain data providers, then the wallet itself is to blame and then it's apparent, the wallet is badly programmed and should be avoided.

If it's closed-source, it should be avoided anyway.

But to confirm, all you have to do is check your address in a blockexplorer, if you see this new transaction there and it's confirmed, then you're good.
It can be either wallet issue or scam attempt.

To make sure that the trade partner already sent bitcoin to your wallet address and the transaction was confirmed, check it with a Bitcoin block explorer is important step. Don't rely on your wallet, especially if it has repeatedly syncing issue.

Bitcoin block explorers.

If it's closed-source, it should be avoided anyway.
Trust wallet is close source, Electrum wallet is open source.

That doesn't happen. There should be some kind of sync issue with your wallet. Could be your poor internet connection or some latency.
The easiest way to confirm is to check in an online block explorer as it will show you real time updates.
If the transaction is present in the history and the balance is updated then you have the money in your wallet.

Yes, I think so too, because I also often experience delayed notifications from Trust Wallet and usually it is because of bad internet. However, sometimes, updating Trust Wallet can also have a good impact on the smoothness of using it, so that notifications can usually be seen quickly. I think OP should follow @pawanjain advice to see it directly in the block explorer, or it is better to update Trust Wallet as I said. So when you know the solution, you will not experience the same obstacle in the future.
