Why are online casino duplicate accounts always against the rules?

If not for ulterior motives, why would a gamblers has two accounts in one casino? What's actually a very convincing and interesting reason that you can think of, that would be enough to justify why a gambler has to create two accounts on the same casino? I have thought about this over and over again and I can not wrap my head around any valid fact why I must have more than one accounts on a casino.

Most people are doing it to cheat, if they are not, why not stick to one account because that same service they will get from account 1 is same thing with account 2.

This is like the previous thread about multiple accounts in one casino, in my local online casino this is sometimes not a problem and yes one of my friends did it by registering his first account using account A and he tried to register again using account B this was successful but there were some things that needed to be changed, such as the username and email and phone number, because when the second account was registered using the same username, email and phone number as the first account it didn't work even though the account numbers were different. Maybe for big online casinos that have a very good reputation this doesn't apply because they have their own rules I don't know it clearly myself, but it makes sense that casinos prohibit players from having more than one account at the same casino.

Multiple accounts was not something against the rule years ago, I guess it started to be something against the rule since there were too many abuses of free money (giveaways, faucet, etc).
IMO, multiple accounts should not be taken strictly because maybe some people want to use few accounts in a casino for something that is not abusing promotions.
It would be better if casinos allow multiple accounts but players should report it on creation date so it can be monitored easily by the casinos.

Casinos do not need encourage players to stick with one account. There is already a negative reinforcement attached to having two accounts and that is the close of your funds. The pain that this will cause them makes people to stay away duplicate accounts. The best marketing approach is through their term of service.

No, there is no effective marketing or way to prevent people from creating duplicate accounts because they mostly do it with a purpose. Most people who create multiple casino accounts do it with the aim of abusing bonuses and promotions because they want to claim bonuses or participate in promotions with multiple accounts, trying to increase their chances of winning something out of those bonuses. There is no way you can make an abuser stay on a single account because they do it even when they know it's against the rules.

In rare cases, a person might have multiple accounts either because they have forgotten their previous account credentials, lost the email or phone number, or got their previous account limited or something, but even then, a person must contact the support team and consult with them before they can go ahead and create a new account while already having one.

There is no excuse for a gambler creating a multiple account on a casino when the ToS says it should be just one. The reason for multiple accounts is basically to cheat the system and the only known way to deter players from taking this path is by making them face the consequence as boldly given in the casino's ToS.

Just simply make out some pop-up into your web homepage of your casino that multi-accounting is prohibited. Usually these things are being written on terms and conditions but since most gamblers are really that too lazy on doing things to read up specially on that long pile of text, then they do usually be skipping it out and wont be able to read it up and be violating something which is really that against the terms. They would really be normally making up those kind of violations and making up some arguments that they have done nothing until they would really be that seeing once the casino do explain into them on what they had violated. Most of the time basing up on experience on which i can easily make out some duplicate accounts or new accounts on a casino but not into those casinos that ask out some KYC on which there are certain casinos now that you cant be able to make out some withdrawal if you arent that verified. We can say that losing is common but what if the time that you've been playing and turned out to be winning but ending up on having that locked winnings just because you have violated the terms and conditions? But I have heard of people that use two or more accounts to do arbitrage betting and gambling. I do not know how possible is that but I have seen someone that his account was banned. The person posted about it on scam accusation board. But the gambling site accused him of arbitrage betting or gambling through many accounts.

That is such a strange question to ask. A casino doesn't need to "encourage" someone to only have one account, it is the most basic and normal thing to only have one account - obvious to anyone with at least an average IQ. The only people creating more than one account will be greedy people who see the welcome bonuses or other promotions and think they can beat the system by signing up again, only to realize that casinos can easily track abusers who try to do this. A company calculates the perks it will offer a single customer, but all those calculations become meaningless and that customer ends up trying to steal rewards they are not entitled to if they claim it more than once.

The arguement doesn't really make sense in my view because when catching fun with gambling the player don't catch fun through the process of account creation but while he gambles and while he awaits for his games outcome. More importantly, if as a gambler having multiple accounts gives you a feeling of fun then why not do that by opening different accounts with different casinos each.  Makes sense this way.
People that opens multiple accounts with one casino tries to be smart by using different documents belonging to family members but  at some point they eventually make mistakes that makes them detected and be put on radar for more evidence.

If you owned a casino you would also have regulators and the government of your country (and even foreign governments) tracking your movements and making sure you followed the rules of KYC (Know your Client) for the sake of your casino to continue to be online and not be blacklisted and banned in many jurisdictions.
That is why so many casino operators are afraid of giving too much liberty to their gamblers and allowing them to have more than one account, because the effectiveness of KYC highly depends on the fact each gambler have only one account at their disposal. Bonus abuse is common reason why this multi account usage is forbidden this is the reason why most of the casino discourage people to do it. Also if they don't have any intention to cheat I really think that there's no need for people to create multiple account because they can build up their account and get perks thru certain levels they achieve.

We see so many multiple account banning happened so people should take this situation as warning that they should never think about taking advantage on the bonuses given by the casino since they can't out smart them and provably same as what happen to past abuser they will end up getting banned to.
