The future of Bitcoin in 20 years is not certain to us. I am planning to meet all my financial needs and wants through my long term plan of Bitcoin investments.

20 years is a long year from now. Based on halving calculations, till then, about 5 halving will make up that time.
Future is unknown, uncertain for everyone including the Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto.

He predicted uncertain future of Bitcoin like this and you can make your prediction for next 20 years similarly.
Right.  Otherwise we couldn't have a finite limit of 21 million coins, because there would always need to be some minimum reward for generating.  In a few decades when the reward gets too small, the transaction fee will become the main compensation for nodes.  I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume.

Quote
I can't imagine how the crypto market will be by then and what price Bitcoin would have been by then. It could reach $2 million or above, or less the price. I am optimistic that many countries will legalize Bitcoin by then. What we are exchanging our Bitcoin for, currently, will be of big money by then.
We are uncertain about future and Bitcoin price in future, but we know very well about its total supply design. We can connect it with Bitcoin adoption growth and future demand to predict about Bitcoin price in future.

How is the 21M Bitcoin cap defined and enforced?

First Bitcoin Trade was in 2010 , 2 Pizza for 10,000 BTC by Laszlo Hanyecz. I saw him some of pod cast , he don't wants to talk to that incident. How cheap was Bitcoin that time.

In just 15 years Bitcoin currently Holding $85,500 (at the time of writing this post) price. By 1 BTC you may able to buy luxurious real estate some of your country, A Tesla Car, even you can stay 2 nights on Burj Al Araf. Everyone has  accepted bitcoin to worthy of a investment atleast those who know about bitcoin.

So you're holding Bitcoin right now .What you wants to buy with your Bitcoin in future? Maybe fast forward  next 20 year later.
You're not just buying blindly right. What your vision with Bitcoin after 20 year later
It is never wrong to decide to spend your own bitcoin if you so wish, it's your money, you bought it, speeding bitcoin also means transacting in it, it's also a means of supporting the blockchain activities.

Lazlo spend 10,000 bitcoin on 2 pizzas is not a problem to me because that was the value of bitcoin at the time, aside Lazlo, alot of persons in the past have spent bitcoin directly or indirectly on various goods and services, I have spent a small amount of bitcoin back In 2021 or 2022 to buy a motor bike which I am still enjoying till date, yes, that bitcoin would have appreciated in value over x10 now if I held it, but I don't regret this action because I didn't lose the bitcoin, but I spent it on something I really needed at the time.

We make money to spend it on giving ourselves a good life, if after acquiring a lot of bitcoin and you don't spend it on yourself once in a while, you suddenly die, what do you think will become of the bitcoins?

We buy something like bitcoin by knowing that we can sell it in future.

Buying and selling is a pair that supports each other and if there is no seller, we can not be a buyer to purchase bitcoin. If I bought bitcoin, I hope that I can sell it when I need money in future, and I will never buy bitcoin if I know that I will not be able or struggle to sell it in future.

When I need to sell bitcoin, I won't hesitate to do this and I won't regret about this. If I plan to not sell my bitcoin, I would have reserve my money in cash for using and making sure that I won't sell bitcoin in my Bitcoin portfolio.

For me it really comes down to personal strategy and goals. Holding bitcoin long-term can be a solid investment play but spending it occasionally also supports the ecosystem and reminds us that it's not just an asset but a currency too. In the end whether we spend or hold the most important thing is making decisions that align with our financial plans & lifestyle.

Hopefully it will appreciate like to the tune of 10 million per coin, that would he so nuts but that is what they say can happen and when / if that happens the sky is the limit on what you buy. You will be able to ball out and make some big boy moves for sure and I'm talking real estate, land purchases, business investments, so many things you can do.
The objective is not to fall for the capitalism but to accumulate enough wealth that you can live in a better condition that the present and have your next generation continue that goal to become rich. Spending the money on cars, luxury are a waste unless absolutely necessary - get a mid range phone use a second hand car, dont for for the iPhone or Tesla, they do the same things but cost more.

We need to continue the grind without spending more that what we need only then the return will be in decent amount. This is often tough in poor living conditions and for many common folk but should be the goal.

If laszlo has moved on and don't want to talk about it. Let's deal with that and he's happy with the result of that trade that helped the value of Bitcoin to raise awareness and is now one of the greatest deals, purchases and trades in the entire Bitcoin history.

So you're holding Bitcoin right now .What you wants to buy with your Bitcoin in future? Maybe fast forward  next 20 year later.

I want to buy everything but first pay off my debts. And my top plan is to have a continuous profit that shall come from my Bitcoin profits, passively.

A profit that shall be enough to do the rest of my life while taking those passive incomes and any business or another asset that will be a fruit of my Bitcoin holdings.

And will still continue to hold and buy at most dips.

I basically trading bitcoin for long time for short time I have not been prepared yet. That’s why there is no future plan now. But slowly I’m getting ready for the long time to trading. What you mentioned in your post Yes, the first gate point rate in 2020 was started with 2 pizza exchange. Then he bought two pizzas with a person 10 bitcoin. Bitcoin’s original was extremely low from today about 14 to 15 years ago but now the price of Bitcoin is skyscraper. From there you think if you can now create a luxury home with a bitcoin. Then you think once what a price increases when the price increases. Bitcoin has now become widely known worldwide. You can invest bitcoin now if you want because its future is going to be brighter. Those who hold Bitcoin long-term now will be able to take much more profits after 10-15 years.

I have two major plans for the Bitcoin I'm buying and storing now. The first plan is to save for me retirement from active service so that I don't have to do strenuous jobs then instead, I will live comfortably by enjoying part of my Bitcoin wealth. The second reason is that I would want to leave Bitcoin as part of the things I will be giving to my heirs. This way they will get started with life such earlier and better knowing that the have a back up capital.

It is never wrong to decide to spend your own bitcoin if you so wish, it's your money, you bought it, speeding bitcoin also means transacting in it, it's also a means of supporting the blockchain activities.

The honest truth is that we buys bitcoin for income sake, we store our financial values on bitcoin for future use so, when it is a due time to sell, there is every necessity for that and it even if we uses the acquired bitcoin to make direct payments, it still serves as form of money.

I've always seen bitcoin as this cool mix of something I can invest in and something I can actually see. I mean, i love the idea of holding onto it for the long haul, watching it grow over time feels like planting a seed and waiting for it to turn into a tree. But at the same time, i don't think it's just for sitting on. Sometimes I'll use it to buy stuff when it makes sense. To me, money, whether it's bitcoin or the cash in my wallet, is all about making life better. I've paid for things with it before, like a new gadget or even just grabbing something online and it felt pretty normal, honestly. The tricky part is figuring out when to keep it tucked away and when to let it flow. I guess it depends on what's going on in my life, like if I need something now or if I'm feeling patient enough to wait for a bigger payoff later. Either way, I think using it or saving it both work, as long as it's doing something for me.

And even when you have to stack and hodl with the aim of increments on your portfolio, it future purposes would still be avail to trade it for your needs because that is what it meant to have money (spending it ).
That is why lot of long term investors might be faced with financial issues to when there is no alternative to solve the present needs, they turns around on their wallet and get their worries settled and then, their long term goal had been disorganized but the real thing is that their assets has performed what it is made for as an asset of economy value.

most investments serve only one thing which is profit and bitcoin covers that but not only that because it also serves as a currency you can use to pay for anything digitally i wonder why people still do not get it when it is just basically saving up money which value does not decrease

it is just like paying fiat digitally but you are paying in a currency that is not launched by any government and it even keeps the transaction tab for you

You're not just buying blindly right. What your vision with Bitcoin after 20 year later
Twenty years is quite a long time to decide what I want to do with my investments. Everything I wish to invest in, I am already doing now. In the next twenty years, I want to sit back and enjoy my retirement benefits while also reserving some for inheritance purposes. I do not believe much in procrastination; at most, five years is enough for me to withdraw some of my investments and reinvest in other projects. This way, I not only make money but also diversify my portfolio for greater returns in the future.

Even though some people don’t have clear plans for how they will use their money in the future, believe me when I say that their investments are still very valid as long as they implement good investment strategies. In the future, they will likely have more than enough to reinvest while also meeting their personal needs.

I will buy a house and diversify some part into an investment that will give me daily income. I will keep the rest of my bitcoin in order for me to pass it on to my kids. However, I don't have much bitcoin in my possession yet. I believe that with my regular DCA approach and the zeal I have to accumulate more bitcoin overtime, I will have a good size of portfolio in 15 years time.
20 years from now you might still be alive so it is better that you use the money to set a business or anything that will generate you more money, while you are preparing for retirement. It is also advisable that you dont sell all your Bitcoin by then. Always leave a portion for future purposes. If you get lucky that you didn't use the money from Bitcoin to get the house like you got it from other source then there is no need to sell any of it by then.

well it seems you are very confident about the progress of btc but you may be forget that btc is still consider as an imaginary thing in many countries and as we know it consumes so much electricity to be mine so i do not think that it has capablity to survive another ten years so that's why long story short many people do not consider btc as an actual payment method beside this there are some other cryptos for example Pi which does not require much energy to be mine is much capable to dominate now, tomorrow and always.

I might not want to buy anything in particular and just want to have a financial leverage in my later days and possibly something to pass down to my generations without governmental interference and to maintain a low profile as against having real estates and other properties to my name that attracts undue attention and possibly undermines your safety and security.

People invest for their retirements so they can live a comfortable life at old age, bitcoin investment can serve that purpose and that is why I am heavy on purchasing it because I want to enjoy its benefits much later in life.

If someone had told me 10 years ago that Bitcoin would one day be worth over $85,000 per coin, I wouldn't have believed it. But here we are. Bitcoin is not just a currency, it’s financial freedom that we can enjoy. I do hope that in 20 years, I won't need to sell my BTC for fiat, and I'd just be able to spend it directly on something. I don't even have kids yet, but I suppose I'd want to have some kind of fund for future children from this money, and/or money for supporting my mental health and overall well-being.

I think for the next 20 years Bitcoin hodlers can buy many things using Bitcoin, because I am sure with its very high increase at that time. But I think less than 20 years, or maybe around 10 years to come, Bitcoin hodlers can buy many things, and that includes the things you mentioned. Regarding the question you gave, I personally give the answer that I will continue to set aside a lot in Bitcoin, while some of it I use for personal needs, such as large land and building luxury apartments, buying luxury vehicles, and others. While the Bitcoin that I save is for family inheritance, savings in old age, or savings that can be used at any time when needed.

Anyone who's still not interested in Bitcoin is really missing out, Bitcoin is the new wave you just have to join the moving train.

It is not a Ponzi, start now and let go of procrastination if i had listened to my friend initially i would've been bigger than i am now.

20 years is equivalent to 5 4-year cycle, having a guess depending on the deterioration of the percentage increase every cycle, in a rough caclculation Bitcoin price would be around $500k+ (@50% deterioration in increase of ATH price each cycle).  I would love to buy properties, more investment but tangible ones.

You're not just buying blindly right. What your vision with Bitcoin after 20 year later

I think governments will plan to have Bitcoin reserves following the lead of Bitcoin-friendly countries.  Honestly, it would be hard to tell since no one really knows what will happen in the next 20 years or even the next 4-year cycle of Bitcoin.

Who would have thought in 2010 that the Bitcoin community would be greatly developed like this and the government would welcome the Bitcoin market and industry?
