Please I want to know if there is anywhere in any law where an elected president a president elected by the people has the right to suspend a democratic governor and a governor elected the same way the president was also elected and not just that going ahead to suspend his backroom staffs.

Because I don't really understand the kind of democracy that is running in my country. People are becoming very greedy and selfish everyday this incident just made everyone realize that our politicians are playing mind games with our country, our economic and even the citizens these men are jeopardizing the law of the country if really there is any, and the so called lawmakers, and human rights succumb to whatever is vomited from some devil on earth and we still believe we have law in my country the law is blinded by money already.

If that is unlawful (which it likely is) then there will most likely be serious consequences for operating outside the law. probably inform of military intervention since what the so called democrats are trying to sow is dictatorship. they will reap what they sow.
By the way, when the so called democrats are operating in that manner, it's likely they are aided or encouraged by the ones who tend to promote "democracy" worldwide, hence why things like human rights groups, civil society, etc that are typically funded by them will remain silent or won't do much. Law is for the rich class in whose interest it is made. It is the same for most countries in the world. What we call democracy is actually a disguised fraud and politicians are deceiving the people. Taking away the right to speak freely and not providing work for the poor. If you protest, the law will be applied to you and you may be recognized as a terrorist. This is a clear indication of a broken system in the country and the president has abused the power given to him by the people, the citizens of the country deserve better, according to the law, Mr President has no power to suspend the governor and his staffs but then their is massive corruption in the land and our law makers are no where to be found. In this case it is not only the poor that is affected by the unlawful decisions of those in power position, this is purely business and they take out anyone that stands on their way.

You may be referring to what happened in rivers state Nigeria where the president suspended the governor of Rivers state because he declared a state of emergency in rivers state I'm from Nigeria and the constitution gave the president right to declare a state of emergency in any part of the country where there's war or crisis that will disturb the peace of the country and when a state of emergency is declared in any part of the country or state or state a military personnel will be appointed as an administrator to control and act as the governor till there's peace in that state meaning when an administrator is appointed the governor will not act as a governor anymore meaning the elected governor will not act anymore as a governor till the state of emergency is lifted, so what happened in rivers state Nigeria is the law the governor was not removed in office he was only suspended for some time because of the state of emergency.
It may not be right in your eyes but that's what the constitution says and that what the president did and according to the president the reason for the state of emergency was because of those oil pipeline that was destroyed, the question should be has the act of crude oil pipeline destruction reached a level of declaring state of emergency in rivers state Nigeria and for me I think it has not however it is still a good reason for declaring state of emergency because the safety of the people is important to government and anything that will be against it should be taken seriously.

Sometimes I just laughed when I see some post that don't even have anything to do in this board. If there is anything happening and you want us to know, I think that should be something serious which is all over the news.

You can bring a trivial matters here that many of the forum members doesn't even know the kind of reply to give you. I understand that politics have made many politicians to misuse power which is very wrong and unethical. I think at this point the poor should know that if you are not rich or a politician you don’t have any law or have any right to do whatever you like in a country, we have seen how different the poor are been treated when it comes to law, the poor people don’t have a say and if the poor say anything bad the politicians or the rich people it is another problem, in my country they can arrest you for talking bad about the president or the government, so it is better for the poor to keep quiet because we don’t have value in the country.

The surprise thing is that those politicians who are in high positions today are voted by the poor, when they need the position they will come to the poor and beg with sweet words and after they get what they want they will change their minds, I don’t blame them because the poor need to think next time before we vote, every day things are getting worse, you can’t have money and spend it with the good mind because things are too expensive, at this point I think the law is just for the poor when they did something bad but when it comes to the rich people there is no law.

Simply, no. That would not be considered an invalid power of an executive office. Some countries further separate executive authority with an administrative branch. However, looking at the way a bureaucracy gets heavily lined with people of one specific party who use it for political purposes, this might actually be a bad thing. A better forth branch would be a secondary judicial authority that has the purpose of ensuring a military authority or other branch of government ever takes excessive amounts of power. I'd call that a Cohesor branch based on my Caroasi Cooperative Rainbow Cooperative model and is linked to in my signature with the Caroasi documentation.

The job of a cohesor is to essentially audit an organization and ensure everything is going as expected. This could be a branch added to any current three-branch or even four-branch government model. I got the aspect through which you're coming from by taking into account the incident that happened between Nigerian president and Rivers State Governor, Fubura, we may be truly in a democracy era whereby actions are not supposed to be taken by a single person without the consultation of other arms of government, but in this case, this is the president we are talking about, what else do you want him to explain for the people when he's there and have the power cut couldn't use it, maybe others now will have to learn on this by how they can use the power vested on them to to rule and lead the people, according the law, he's not wrong because such is lawful, they only accused him of not assuming the power to the national Assembly.

The president has every right to declare a state of emergency in any state in his jurisdiction that has an ongoing war or crisis that disturbs the peace and unity of the state.

However, the decision is not to be taken by the president alone. It must pass through a judicial process and be approved by the other arms of government.

However, if the president suspends an elected governor due to political interest or rivalry, then the action taken by the president is unconstitutional. The governor can fall back on the judiciary to address the issue. Unfortunately or fortunately, this will depend on whether the judiciary is actually independent.

Every country should be careful not to make its president too powerful. In a true democracy, checks and balances are all that are needed to solve such issues. Not to dismiss your figures because I am aware of these situations and the killings in the different parts of the country you mentioned as a Nigerian but it would have been more official you had added a source to support your figures so that an alien to this inhuman happenings going on in tue country wouldn't assume it to be a fabrication. Of course I know it's not.

The case of a state of emergency been pronounced by the Nigerian president Bola Ahmed Tinubu was a pure violation of the constitution which any constitutional lawyer who's just and neutral in the matter would agree to it. The constitution of Nigeria 1999 as amended, in section 188 and section 305 clearly states how an elected governor can be removed from seat and not by some presidency degree as though we are in a military rule meanwhile we are said to be under democracy.  Is disgraceful to comprehend that the judiciary and legislative organs in the country has been gagged and bought under by the executive arm in a way that even the constitution isn't regarded in certain actions.

Haven't you ever read democracy does by suicide? it is about the same with law and order.
Law and order dies when it starts being abused by those who are supposed to enforce it and instead they seek for the own personal benefits, jeopardizing the democratic system and the laws which keep it in place.

Having a popularly elected official removing another of a lesser range is not something new within western democracies, actually it has happened in my country before, but in the end, it is the people who are supposed to have the power to vote and remove from their office such governor or major, the power to limit the power of the presidency because no power is supposed to be absolute, there is where tirany stats to root and corrupt the system.

Sadly in most parts of the world, you can buy justice if you have money. This statement may seem unusual, but it is the reality. How often do we see any rich person or person in power behind bars or accused of being guilty? It is mostly the common man, the ordinary man who comes under the definition of law.  

The one who has the wealth may afford the best lawyers who are capable to find the legal loopholes to protect the victim. Justice usually tilts in favor of the party who is wealthy. That sad indeed. Even if you can take the example of politicians, if they ever did a crime intentionally or unintentionally, you will never find them inside the bars.
