How to Earn Interest on ~1k Stablecoins in a Decentralized Way Without KYC?

Hi everyone,
I’m relatively new to DeFi and I’m looking for a way to put around 1k stablecoins to work and earn some interest. However, I’d prefer to do this in a decentralized manner without having to go through KYC processes.

Could anyone recommend some safe and beginner-friendly platforms or protocols where I can achieve this? Ideally, I’d like to understand the risks involved as well.

Do not take what I am going say to you as an investment advice, it's just an old experiment of me but if you want to adopt it, it's at you own risk.
On the trust wallet app, there is an option that allows you to stake some coins easily on that wallet but some of the coins that you can stake on are  not stable coins and you know the risk already, you can buy those coins and during the bear market, the price will dip hard, secondly trust wallet is not an open source wallet, thirdly your wallet can get compromised if you are always online and visiting different phishing sits.
List of coins that I know you can stake on that wallet are; BNB, ETH, Solana, TRX, etc you can discover other.

Usually you can find it in non-custodial applications such as Trust Wallet, OKEx Wallet and others. But you need to remember that these applications are not completely open-source, so get involved at your own risk.

Usually you can find it in non-custodial applications such as Trust Wallet, OKEx Wallet and others. But you need to remember that these applications are not completely open-source, so get involved at your own risk.

You can try HyperLiquid's HLP or Jupiter's JLP. I think there are others like Ethena's stablecoin that has some kind of yield. Also, I notice that other perp DEXes recently started LP stuff similar to that of HyperLiquid—Paradex, Vest exchange, etc). APR/APY is usually around 10-15% and you don't need to KYC too to access it.

plenty of lending protocols, like AAVE that already has extensive reputation and reliability, other alternative is morpho, even providing LP can give you good interest although there's risk of impermanent lose.
if you just look at top defis, you'd easily find vaults that offers good interest and as it's defi, they don't care about KYC.

I think AAVE is great place to start but always consider the risk as well, read their documentation thoroughly, they usually mention risks.

I have this sum that I don't need but I find the centralized methods to be scammers who want to be paid taxes on my risks.

Since the platforms that I know where you can make money with that have been mentioned. The risk is there for all of these decentralized platforms but I'd tell you go with the ones that has high liquidity but they can also drop on an instant. And most of them, the only risk that I see with them is being attacked in the internal of these platforms but also you as a user that might someone target you and might go to the wrong website so check out the characters(letters) of their websites because some are tricky and uses special characters and you might fall for that as you connect your wallet to.

All protocol platforms have risks in Dex, now it's really up to us how much risk we can give to the platform we will use for what we will do in staking or yield farming.
And in that regard, I can't give any suggestions because I haven't tried it yet.

That's all I can say that the risk will not go away, because once we release money or funds, there will immediately be a risk or its tail because in the cryptocurrency field,
volatility is always included in every asset that we will use or invest in.

In case anyone sees this and gets confused or scared, let me provide some clarity.

HyperLiquid's HLP have been profitable since it's inception. It has amassed over $60m in profits. All was cool until recently when a whale did this:

1. He deposited to HyperLiquid
2. Opened a huge BTC long on hyperLiquid.
3. Withdrew margin so liquidation price immediately shot up.
4. HLP is responsible for liquidations on HyperLiquid so it took on the trade and couldn't sell it faster and that resulted in over $4m loss. I think total loss is around $4.3m.

Btw, the whale opened another trade on a different exchange and shorted Bitcoin. So they profited at the end of the day while HLP took an L.

HyperLiquid is already protecting against the issue repeating itself and they reduced max leverages allowed to 40x and 20x for both Bitcoin and ETH respectively. Also, they now require at least 20% margin so no one can withdraw all margin to get a position insta-liquidated.

I've used the vault for almost a year now and it's the first time the returns have been negative. I believe the current fixes should work and HLP will return back to profit ways.
