This year was first one when it was applied the 0.75 to 1 votes reduction rule for winners of same categories at BCA 2023. As a consequence, theymos, which received most votes at Hero of Good (64), remains with only 48 votes, as he won this category last year as well (the outcome of this being that o_e_l_e_o became the winner of first prize at "Hero of Good"). Besides, Hhampuz, which received most votes at "Craft Master" (46), remains with only 35 votes, as he won this category last year as well (however, he keeps his first prize at current edition as his remaining votes still place him on first place). - List of unaccounted nominees and votes

 In comparison, last year we had only 186 users being nominated. - The greatest number of nominations received by a user was 64 (theymos at Hero of Good category). Last year he was also the one with most votes (81) at same category. However, since his votes were reduced with 25%, the user which remained with most votes is CryptopreneurBrainboss (58 votes, at Local Hero category).
- The biggest difference between a first place and a second place was 18 votes (PowerGlove vs. 1Dq, at Discovery of the Year). Last year biggest difference was of 60 votes, between theymos and fillippone, at Hero of Good category.
- Votes of Liliana1304 and hypebrother were not counted, as they have less than 50 merits earned.
- Votes for inactive users, such as satoshi, were also not counted, due to their inactivity.
- Some mentions of event / fail of the year were merged all together, as they written with words suggesting same idea. (Big thanks to PowerGlove for trying to match each such vote into an adequate slot!)
- Some votes for nominees which had their name spelled incorrectly were merged together (Hhampuz and Hhampus, 1miau and 1maiu etc.)
