Hey,

I’ve been unable to make withdrawals on Bybit for the past four weeks  Cry
They requested certain documents from me, which I submitted promptly.
However, it has now been three weeks, and still no response from their support team.

Could you please advise on what steps I should take next?

Well the only solution is contact theirs support and explain the problem. Also Im wondering why they wont respond? Its not typical for a cex to make a complain or report longer and for three weeks? Ive got a feeling that if theres no problem with them and still not responding? Its either its a fake bybit or they waiting for order.

I'm just wondering op why you can't withdraw from their cex platform. And as @cryptoaddictchie mentioned, you should have contacted their support, just follow-up repeatedly.
Then just wait, now, haven't you done anything against their rules and policies on their exchange?

Maybe you've violated some rules that's why they're asking for a lot of documents for verification for sure. Or maybe you've reached the limits on their platform so maybe they're upgrading
your account level with them.

You neither did not state what the exchange fed you on the process of trying to make the transaction so it would give us here details to what the issue of your inability to process your transaction maybe.
If I may ask, did you comply with the networks Kyc requirements?
Have you used the p2p before since signing in to the platform? Or did you try to use the restricted withdrawal methods due to lack of your compliance with the exchange TOS?

In Bybit you can't discussion directly to their live chat easily but you can submit your complain case with them. And that was what I did to solve my case as of last year but now I can see that they changed that policy. Now you can chat with them directly to solve your issue. And I just spoke with them and they said you should contact their support team on https://www.bybit.com/en/help-center/article/How-to-Report-a-Fraudulent-Counterparty-on-P2P to solve the problem. And as I said submit a report form to solve the issue. And as they said, In order to proceed with an investigation dear client kindly file a report via the link attached. https://www.bybit.com/en/help-center/s/webform

It be like that in some cases with CEXes and it sucks because it's a nightmare but sadly, they're the only one who can help you.

But you can also try to contact their social medias. Typically, they don't provide customer support there however community managers can escalate your case UID to relevant team. Try your luck OP.

That exchange is pretty fucked up. The messed me up at one time and I decided to move away from using their service. Check the thread I wrote about them back then: Bybit now forcing users to carry out Facial recognition when withdrawing

Problems are usually resolved in a shorter time, but if 3 weeks have passed and you have not received an answer to your question, you need to be reminded of the problem again, using the ticket number that you used to contact initially.

You have to continue sending reminders and contacting their support as much as you can and hopefully, you will get a response from them, I used Bybit a few hour's ago and sincerely I did not encounter any delay when I had to request a support agent to help me confirm a p2p order since I was far from my 2FA device, so I am sure that you will get a response soon to address your problem.
You should also understand that support agents can delay responding to some issues that are outside their ability to solve such as verification since most KYC agents are third-party support and not the main exchange support.

It's pretty bad 3 weeks almost and your withdrawal still frozen.

Would you mind to tell us if what coin you are trying to withdraw? Maybe the coin you are attempting to withdraw still has a wallet issue?

What I guess maybe the crypto that you deposited might be tainted that is why Bybit took to long to review your documents.

If you have a support ticket I suggest contact the support on their X account posted by hugeblack above because it is way more active than via email.

Did you fail p2p trading rules before? Like gotten reported for not releasing coins in time, this kind of tag brings lots of bad reputation on an account though and affects withdrawals on the account.

If that's not the problem, then you can redo the verification again and get them reply to your complaint, I know Bybit doesn't snorb verification applications, it's maybe the documents you submitted doesn't fits the requirements.

So far I haven't experienced any problems with Bybit exchange, what is the problem that you can't make withdrawals so you ask for certain documents?
Are the funds sourced from the mixer? Because the exchange strongly refuses from the mixer.

But if the source of funds is safe in the sense that it is not from illegal actions then the only way is to continue sending tickets.
However, I have experienced this in the past at Kucoin and it only took 1 week for the withdrawal to be opened.

What I guess maybe the crypto that you deposited might be tainted that is why Bybit took to long to review your documents.
Even if that's true, an exchange should have separate wallets for user withdrawal. I don't think it's that difficult to separate those funds, they can just move the rest of them while they hold the amount of tokens being suspected of some criminal activity or something similar. Kinda unfair for the users to get affected when they aren't exactly the cause for that (but why request documents if that was the case though). CMIIW.

I’ve been unable to make withdrawals on Bybit for the past four weeks  Cry
They requested certain documents from me, which I submitted promptly.
However, it has now been three weeks, and still no response from their support team.

Could you please advise on what steps I should take next?
I made withdrawal from bybit yesterday, and I never encountered any problem in the process of doing that. Maybe they noticed some activities from your account that’s why they decided to suspend withdrawal. Just contact their support, and provide the informations which they requested for, and am sure you are going to get a response from them, but it might not be so fast the way you want it.

maybe if you notice that it’s taking more time, then you can just contact them again, and wait for their response, if you haven’t don anything wrong with your account, and you provide appropriate informations which they requested for, then your withdrawal should be permitted.

Why you have kept your money in there when a hack has happened to them already? people have been quick to withdraw money out of them when the incident has happened.

There could be some delays but if yours is a real thing and it had taken them a long time and how many weeks for you to withdraw.

nothing you can do but wait until you get ahold of their support after document submitted, they be doing this often for suspicious transaction or if they think your account is already compromised or they indicates AML.
but I'd also write to their social media accounts though, just to get more attention and hoping somehow it'll speed up the process. i'm sure you will get your money back eventually if you proceed through their requirements.

For future, I always say, if you want to use an exchange for big volumes, always KYC in advance. I don't know how bybit works but pretty sure its similar to Binance etc. Get the highest level of KYC verification first. THEN trade.

For future, I always say, if you want to use an exchange for big volumes, always KYC in advance. I don't know how bybit works but pretty sure its similar to Binance etc. Get the highest level of KYC verification first. THEN trade.
If the fund is big with you, KYC first before depositing and trading because after you depositing your money to an account on centralized exchange, your money is controlled by them. If you don't KYC, you might be required KYC later and your KYC documents can be refused and your KYC fails.

There is nothing sure that if your account was KYCed successfully, your withdrawal request later will always be approved, but at least you can avoid problems with KYC. Reducing one risk factor for your withdrawal request failure is better.

By discussing about some possibilities, there is one common warning, CEX is not a good place to store your fund. Not your key, not your coin.
