I don't know who need to hear this but I think this information will be helpful if not now but in the future to have your digital assets safe.
I came across somewhere in the media where someone wrote "I wish there'd be global or national crisis or disasters to where my targets are located"
The meaning of this was detailed by a replier in the post that "yes, that's usually times of vulnerabilities where victims would want to divert their physical assets to digital assets especially on bitcoin".

That's to say victims in the respective places might want to entrust their digital funds with their loved once.
So be warned everyone who're into online relationships with people you haven't had physical connections with especially the online dating.
One of the compliance in the post talked about how he made huge money during the convid-19. Which means he succeeded in scamming his victims who entrusted their funds with them with the digital assets.
I've since been searching to get back to the post again but can't find it. Maybe it's being taken down due to risk exposure of themselves or even exposing their scamming system.
So be warned if you find yourself in the respective situation not to fall into scammers trap by entrusting your crypto assets on distress.

You don't have to drop any link because this is something that everyone is well aware of, in today's world youths have turned into hackers and scammers, stealing hardworking peoples money.

I can remember a woman's case whom account was drained of $950 in my country, a old woman between the age of 70 to 75, the money was all she had and someone moved them out without leaving behind anything.

She wept in the bank that day and there is nothing that the bank can do for her, but we customers just had to make some contributions to her, many people lay curses on the culprit that day and I also hope they get cursed too.

This isn't even a romance scam thing, the truth is scamming has become something that even parents and elders are encouraging their own children to do, this is what the world have turned into.

Even when there is a physical connection I wouldn't advise anyone to trust another with their digital asset information. The world we live in his cruel and people change as things around them begins to take either positive or negative stands. If I can't guarantee the safety of my own investment then I rather don't bother myself going into it other than trust someone else for it's safety.

The way I see it if I am not keeping my private key private then involving a third party to keep it for me means it's centralised even though I use a cold wallet or hardware wallet it doesn't matter since they key isn't kept in my custody alone.

You can only experience such behavior from newbies, because they easily trust stranger in the crypto market to do what they ask them to do to boost their coins in their wallets. You don't need to meet some people before you will know that they are real helper or scammer, because what will be coming out from them will make you conclude the type of people you are communicating or chatting with and it will help you to make a good decision that will prevent you from scammers.

Some time scammers move with the information they heard from social media or from people physical to know what to say to convince them to believe that they are with the right helper, because they have showcase some evidence that will make them to believe and not to share such secret to people  base on the millions they want to make from the project.

First rule is , do not belive anyone with your money. Even some giant centralized exchange can scam you hence they were some online friends/GF . It's better if I lose my money on my own still believing other's with my money is such a childish act imo. For money even your blood related brother can betray you .

Easy money , Easy Helps coming from other's always brings disaster with it. I don't belive such thing , if you're getting something too easy it either a gimmick or a scam . So always use your intuition in these matter.

  Trust nobody when it comes to secret password, because someone can invade into your privacy without informing you, that's why it's important to keep your information on secret without exposing it to the public...

The secret behind wallet irrespective of the wallet, is to keep your seed phrase intact without second party having access to your seed phrase...an exposed seed phrase is like playground, were everyone have access to enter at any time.

Every time I read the news online, there's always news about online scams that exploit other people's vulnerabilities to maximize their profits. This is why I often say, don't trust anyone you meet online. Even those closest to you can deceive you, let alone strangers whose backgrounds you don't know at all.
Whatever the story, never trust anyone you meet online, let alone entrust your crypto assets to them for management, that's the stupidest thing you can do. Always understand that no good person on the internet will manage or safeguard your money without reward or risk.-- it's better to be realistic.

It's a stupid thinking.

It is similar to a price prediction from a person, that Bitcoin will hit $1M within next 90 days. You know it only happens when the world is a very big crisis and fiat currencies globally lose its purchasing powers in a global crash. In that future, do you think $1M worths too much?

Nobody wants to live in such world definitely, but crisis aren't meant to last forever, the crisis will avert just like COVID-19 and the ongoing war, and then things will definitely stabilize once again. At this point, it is no longer stupid thinking, don't you think?

Scammers do have different methods and schemes to defraud people, and one of the ways they get their victims falling for these schemes is to prey on their fear or greed, they'll first gain trust either through relationships or proofs, then capitalize on their instability e.g war, or global crisis, then create a sense of urgency to make them FOMO or greedy. That's how most of these scams work.

Why will I give my security details to a third party I've never met when my area is affected with crisis? Is that the only option left and are their no possible way I can still secure my access keys and seed phrase without giving it out to an untrusted Third party?

If it gets really bad that keeping my access security details in a physical environment is no longer safe, I will rather drop it in my mail or message box, go through the phase and if I survive it, I extract those details and delete it off my digital device. Digital device can be compromised and no doubt about it but at the same time, for a short period of time, it's safer keeping your access key Thier than giving it out to a total stranger that I don't know shit about.

I think the problem easily why many people get scam because have high ambition trough offering from scammer promising much return based on the assets investing or saving, someone offering return in monthly round 10% and its huge amount for someone easily giving their assets to unknow person at real but only interaction trough online. I think avoid from scammer you must think logic if any offering check detail and how possibility the scammer offering can acceptable or not.
Don't fully trust exactly about money with the people know at dating app or online because most of them already targeting the victim and try the dating app way to know someone already become their target.
