I like the 24-hour performance heatmap on your website. But I think it would be even better if it was possible to get more information about each coin if you clicked on their names. It could then display the data that is visible on the homepage, for instance in a new pop-up window.

Great suggestion, so basically like an overlay that would display the current info from the cards plus extra info?
Can you give me some ideas on what you want to see on the pop-up window? I like that idea

UPDATE - So this is what I have so far when you click on the card of the coin, it opens this overlay
This works for any coin from the top list or any coin you manually add to your favorites section
I will be adding some other things to it as time goes on, thanks for the suggestion!  Cool

I think you misunderstood me. You added that new overlay on the homepage. I was talking about the 24-hour performance heatmap. You have those big and small boxes showing the performance of individual coins. If you click inside those boxes, there could be a pop-up/overlay with some basic information about each individual coin and how they have performed in the given 24-hour timeframe.

Got it, check it out now clicking any heatmap box will pull up something like this

Yes, that's what I meant. However, I am now seeing a bug. Sometimes it works and displays a pop-up windows but then it stops working and displays a 'Failed to load detailed coin information' notification all of a sudden. It won't load data for some time and then it works again. It keeps working and not working in circles.

Here is a screenshot of the error I get:

Thanks for reporting the bug, I fixed it now and I made it even better
Now when you have the heatmap opened it will update in real-time moving the boxes around
You can still click on each box to get more info about that coin

Great work. You seem to have fixed the previous bug. I spent about a minute clicking around at the various boxes on the heatmap but I couldn't replicate the bug I experienced yesterday. I also like the real-time price updates with the boxes moving around like living organisms. Wink

There are coins/tokens mentioned there that I haven't even heard of. Makes me happy that my main focus is bitcoin and not alts.

Hello and good job.

why did you disable right-clicking on the site including F12? For instance, I wanted to open the page inspector to dig into the code, check responsiveness, or see how the elements are built-purely out of curiosity and for testing. Now I can’t, and it’s a bit frustrating. What’s with the secrecy? It’s not some top-secret project, is it? I’d love to understand the reasoning behind it, because otherwise.

Portfolio Tracker
Can we also save our portfolio in our local storage [a simple refresh or going to other tabs automatically removes everything]?
- Perhaps you can develop unique saved codes dedicated to each portfolio.

Price Alerts
I couldn't figure out how to find this feature... Did you remove it or did I just miss something?

Top 50 Coins by Market Cap
Clicking the above tab with the scroll wheel leads to the homepage, as opposed to opening their respective pages or windows [the same goes for the heatmap tab].

Add or remove cryptocurrencies manually
I'm stuck with the loading message, so I'm guessing some of the recent updates messed it up: Screenshot

You can still get into the browser's built-in developer tools on both Chrome and Tor browsers [the same probably applies to other browsers as well]:

  • Chrome > 3 dots (vertical ellipsis) > more tools > developer tools
  • Tor > 3 lines (hamburger menu) > more tools > web developer tools

Yes, of course I know about this, I just wanted to hear the author's position on this matter and his motives.

Hey thank you for testing and reporting any issues you find

- fixed the portfolio tracker, now it saves the entries until they are manually removed

- price alerts has been removed for now until further notice; we are updating the code for this feature

- fixed the issue with using mouse wheels for menu clicks

- the crypto coin you were trying to add (OKBUSDT) is not listed on binance, it works for all coins listed on binance (If you go to https://www.binance.com/en/price/okb) they mention this Note: This coin is not listed on Binance for trading and services.

As soon as the coin is listed for trade on Binance then it will appear right away on our site

I added a function that checks first and displays a message if the coin is not trading yet on binance

It is a beautiful website.

But im my opinion  the point is that we have so many of those apps, just displaying prices and price variations of currencies is something hard to maintain (as we have new coins coming every day) and too many competitors....

Hard to compete with Coingecko coinmarketcap coinbase etc etc..

Interesting looking website that is offering something different compared to regular Coingecko and CoinMarketCap websites.
There was some things I would like to see improved, when I want to add new trading pair website should autamatically offer me option to select.
Same goes when I want to add new coins in my portfolio, and I was actually able to add random ticker for coins that don't even exist:

I think that should not be allowed to happen.
