I really don't know what their motive for donating is, really. So, you have a negative opinion on Bitcoin but use it as a means for collecting birthday gifts? Don't you think Peter Schiff is being shameless right now for indirectly acquiring what he hates, I mean he couldn't accept his birthday gifts in any other means he decided to receive donations in Bitcoin just to see the reactions of Bitcoin lovers he's a smart dude but I think he needs to come plain and stop pretending because before he started receiving the donations in Bitcoin he has been convinced that Bitcoin is winning and the progress so far is what is making him to pick interest, who knows if he will start buying Bitcoin soon because there's nothing a shameless critics can not do.

Sometimes some people just feel like they want to prove something by playing dumb and sending him some bitcoin to that address for him to actually have some just in case, but that's nonsense, and I actually thought he was just joking until someone asked for his Solana address and he made an exchange Solana address available, which means he is actually open to accepting those donations.

On one hand, I feel that this person is embarrassed and finally admits the future of Bitcoin, and I see this as one of the history that will be recorded how Bitcoin silences its critics. I have no clue why should someone be willing to donate to a millionaire, let alone donating $4000 as someone did yesterday on his donation address. But I wouldn't eliminate the fact that he might be doing all donations himself from his unknown addresses. I can post a donation address and donate lots of satoshis through different Bitcoin addresses and manipulate the fact that people follow my tweets and send me lots of donations.

This tweet doesn't look like a mockery to the Bitcoin reserve fore, but rather a plus and a sarcastic way that a billionaire asks for money from his fans, he wants to use the event of his 62 years birthday,, and he moved his Bitcoin reserve from and exchange to a hardware wallet and also issued a Bitcoin address for donations on his birthday, this look positive to me more than it is negative although I have not been an addicted fan or not even a fan of Schiff from the last and not in the future will I fan him also.
