If what your saying is the front desk girl was involved then the storage unit is absolutely responsible. Id spend your time gathering evidence of what was stolen and prepare for civil litigation.

Hired a lawyer, case is solid to prove neglect in the security practices. I am more damaged as a collector and love for the physicals. I bought with BTC, so it's a sadness for but more for the physicals. Criminals are peeling them, and the Sheriff's are so overwhelmed with other burglaries that in CA crime is out of control.

If crime is not put under control more will come to California.

All done as you mentioned, two burglaries and another attempt on the unit. Inside job. The loss is so big, it maybe they file Bankruptcy. The Manager, is allowing homeless in the lockdown period of 9 PM to 6:00. Best time to commit crimes.

Yikes!  My heart sank when I saw the list.  Even if insurance/lawsuit pays for the current value, that is a devastating loss.  Glad your posting addresses and SNs (if you have them) I am extremely weary of buying on ebay and other markets, and I search this forum for info on any coins I am buying from those sources.

Edit : smh, I missed your reply about the attorney. I read through threads too quickly sometimes my bad. So it sounds like you’re shit out of luck and that’s that? Fn hell man. That’s the sad and fucked up part of bn scammed/fckd over by someone or some entity who’s broke or falls under some LLC bullshit. Well at minimum I’d make sure I sued them into bankruptcy.

Holy sh$t, this is horrible, will reach out to you directly. FYI, Stacks is offering secured insured storage now in TX. After seeing this highly considering it even with multiple offsite secured storage facilities. You and I both know CA you probably won’t get full compensation unless you can collect from the storage site’s insurance, even then with that big of an inventory it will be best to push for a lump sum avg price based on recent auction prices vs individual pieces as attorney fees will eat you alive.

Don't know if this will help, but maybe your lawyer can file a claim against the dealer bond- not sure how much theirs is for.  I had a situation where a dealership went out of business and ripped me off for an extended warranty for a few thousand dollars- found out later on when I had work done and no existence of said warranty.  Because the place had insurance when I bought the car and extended warranty, the insurance company made good on it and I had to sign a release.

This is a nightmare scenario. Please do keep us updated with the steps you are taking against this place. It sounds like you have a real case although I’m not sure how you’d go about providing the damages total and convincing them that is what was taken. Took a look at these, and a good chunk of the funds went directly to cash.app so it should be pretty easy for police to ID the thieves or at least the people cashing out for the thieves.

OP shoot me a DM and I'll just send you exactly what you need to send to the police, and then they can get an easy win and look smart to their supervisors.
