They have stumble upon the find accidentally while they were searching for methane. This form of hydrogen occurs naturally, and does not need industrial production.

France already does nuclear energy if I remember right, while they are trying to get away from it and find something that is less risky, they always had the idea of being self-sufficient on energy, this would just speed it up.

I am not entirely sure if they will focus on selling this to others in order to make money right away, they could also try to figure out a safe way to store it, so they can just provide energy for themselves, without needing to buy from others. If they sell today, they will make money short term, but long term they will have to buy from others again, but if they save for now then they could just be self sufficient already. I am just not sure how hydrogen is safely stored for future energy creation, never heard of it.

I read that white hydrogen is good for the environment because it doesn't generate CO₂ emissions. This is good because it will reduce the havoc caused by the refining processes. Global warming is causing so much havoc in many countries and having such naturally refined resources is highly welcomed. This discovery is also good news for the European Union because it will reduce the importation of these resources. It will also create jobs in Lorraine, and the local economy of the area will be improved. Since white hydrogen is cheaper and doesn't need refining, it will place France on the global map as the major producer of white hydrogen. Congratulations to France and the European Union.

It's a welcome discovery, white hydrogen isn't any natural resources we find underneath the earth so frequently as it's done with blue or green hydrogen which are also not environmental friendly as the white hydrogen..

Most definitely, this means more jobs creation for France citizens. Increasing their relevance to the world and EU most importantly.

I wonder what the situation would have looked like if it were to be discovered  in one interior African community. We all know the rest of the story with other resources already existing there. All am saying in essence is that it's beautiful when a people are allowed to absolutely have control and decide about the resources found in their native lands/soil without external Western interferences for a sole aim of exploitative exploration.

It is actually a low cost of conservative energy resource and emission of carbon which makes it safer for industrious and domestic uses.
So it is partially harmless of contaminating the environment for residents healthcare in the society neither does it affect the climates.
But note that it petroleum energy unit is highily required of cautious operational usages to keep safe as it could be highily flammable.

This is a great discovery, I think, for all of Europe. White hydrogen does have its benefits, some of which are obviously better than green or gray hydrogen.
It is a sustainable natural energy source that is in the early stages of development.

There are a few negativites regarding it, it is really difficult to find and extract, there are environmental concerns regarding white hydrogen that need to be fully defined, and we need to develop an infrastructure for this technology to be implemented in our daily lives. So, we are a long way down the road for this type of natural resource. But I still have high hopes regarding it.

Geological hydrogen (H subscript 2) is gotten from the electrolysis of water. And it can be found naturally in swamp areas but not in large quantities. This is indeed good news for the France government. It will boost the country's economy as trades will be going on due to the demand of H2 in industries, institutions and research firms. It is very rare to see a natural occurrence in that quantity leading to a reserve of such natural resources.
