They're some misconceptions beginners in cryptocurrency investment especially Bitcoin normally do and also think during investing in bitcoins, especially people that has not invested in cryptocurrency before,  some people think that immediately you venture into bitcoins investment you're rich, but such concept or ideology is not real..

I want us to let our siblings, loves one's know the advantages and disadvantages of investing in bitcoins, before they venture into cryptocurrency investment especially Bitcoin...because I was in a Bar taking some bottles, a woman came, she starting complaining to her friend how one of her lured her to invest on Bitcoin during the time bitcoins hits hundreds thousands [100k] and after investing in bitcoins at 100k price, then bitcoins price began to fall, to the extent that price of Bitcoin currently is at eighty-four thousands [84k]

So the woman that informed her of Bitcoin investment brainwashed her with motivational hopes of doubling what she invested within one week, so obviously the woman thought that she has become rich after she invested on Bitcoin.

Summary Do not tell people who has not invested on Bitcoin only the positive side of Bitcoin investment, also give them or tell them the more of the negative of Bitcoin, let them know that price of Bitcoin is not constant it always fluctuating, so that they will not having such mind of becoming rich they have invested in Bitcoin with a short time.

In cases like this, I only don't blame the person who she claimed brainwashed her; I also blame her for even believing that there is any form of investment out there which you will put your money into and start making a profit immediately without times when you will experience losses.

And on the other side, I also don't see a reason why some people go out there with that kind of promotion sharing misconceptions about the whole Bitcoin investment thing. What's in it for them? Bitcoin won't reward them with anything for bringing in someone. This is not like affiliate marketing or a Ponzi scheme; some people actually drag trouble to themselves without knowing it with the kind of information they share.

Those that easily give in to people persuading them that they can double their investment within a short period of time are still not well informed about the internet phase that we are now. There is no such thing as quick money making process and they should by now know that people are out there to always brainwash them with sweet talk in order to lure them to invest in something they can get little referrals bonus from. They may not want to scam you but persuading you to believe in them is enough for them to achieve their aim.

Bitcoin investment has its good and bad sides and it’s important that any aspiring investor should know very much about what they want to invest in, the risks involved and should also be well prepared to take on the risks involved in what they’re about to invest their money into. The volatile nature of the market is of great importance for every investor because that form one of the most important basis of whether an investor can really go on with their investment in bitcoin or not. I agree with you, because bitcoin investment doesn't guarantee richness, and bitcoin investment doesn't also guarantee returns, though many believe that bitcoin investment guarantee richness and returns, but that is not a good mindset for those who are want to get started with bitcoin should put on when approaching bitcoin, Because you may invest wrongly in bitcoin and end up selling in loose or you may invest what you can't afford to loose in bitcoin which may lead to emotional and financial damage if time is not taking.


And Secondly when we want to tell people about bitcoin we should try and tell them all they need to know about bitcoin and bitcoin investment in other for them to check and balance thereselves to know if they can suit in to  invest in bitcoin, because bitcoin is volatile in nature it price fluctuation can make someone panic and loose emotional control and sell in lost.

This is one of the reasons I said we should not bring or introduce someone into Bitcoin investment without explaining better for the person, what they woman heard to invest on Bitcoin is not what she is seeing right now, the age I saw the woman I don't think that she research on something else before executing it, so we need to know that cryptocurrency investment is all about risk, so young adults can understand such, but aged people will not understand such, because they thinks only forward not backwards. In norms, she supposed to make research before investing, but she was carried with sugar-coated words of making profit in bitcoin investment.

People are always super excited when it comes to investing in bitcoin because they feel there is breakthrough in there investment and this is why they need to have orientation about what they are going into before they start because people have this mindset that the moment they start investing in bitcoin they have solved there finical problems forgetting it will take a lot of time before they start making money and that is only if they are consistent.

And if you tell your family members and friends that you are into trading or holding they think you are one big money bag they don't even want to know the challenges that are there as a trader. Before reading through other user's reply, let me quickly make my contributions while I still know what to say. You see, the word "investment" has been termed to so many supposed financial opportunities, but there has been some exception when it comes to Bitcoin. When a real estate investor wants to talk others into investing in real estate, there is always a ground basis of long term investment. Same thing goes for other areas or things we can invest in, but Bitcoin has always been an exception. Truth is, this is clearly not Bitcoin or the community's fault, but it is as a result of wrong interpretation by most investors(I think the majority).

And one other area that I think so many people might be getting it wrong is when your investment happens to be your source of living. I don't know about others, but to me, I believe that your investment should be your reserve, or backup. Just like how few exchanges uses the 1:1 reserve for backing up user funds(can't really remember the actual name). Truth is, there is risk in Bitcoin investment, but that risk reduces overtime. So, in a case where someone invest in Bitcoin for a short term, thinking that it will bring riches, will most likely end up being a disappointment. There is no logic to any of these, get something doing, invest in Bitcoin and make it your long term reserve.

I agree, and we must be true to them. As we tell people about Bitcoin, they deserve to know the risks and possible losses that may happen from our mistakes. They must be aware of the possible things that may happen, not just by saying all positive.

When there is a good understanding of bitcoin you can't get the disadvantage of bitcoin. It is important people should be told about the volatile nature of Bitcoin and not only how to make profit from it.  Beginners will always have challenge investing bitcoin if they are not being told about the market of bitcoin.  When people are not being told what they are supposed to know,  they invest in bitcoin with so much expectation.

When there is a little dump in bitcoin you see it generating negative news in the market and thereby creating huge  fear too where we see people selling most of which are Those newbies who just come into Bitcoin investment early, and for me I don’t usually blame this kind of investors because I feel it is the the kind of wrong narrative that they get while coming into bitcoin, most of those people bringing in new investors into bitcoin in my opinion most of the time concentrates or passes only the good will message to intending investors without explaining the risks involved to them.

Bitcoin investment if been held over a long term has proven to be profitable with the coin able to give an investment at least 2x in four years period but this it’s self isn’t guaranteed because the market can be in bearish condition for a very long term too, so bitcoin investment isn’t more of a get rich scheme but actually more of a thing that saves your money from inflation affecting the fiat currency. They can think they are investors (in Bitcoin) but their practical investment activities are different but decide their results.

People who practice with investor style with good risk and capital management, good discipline and good strategy for entries and withdrawals, have very high probability to get profit. Because Bitcoin price grows up with its market cycles and history proves this.

People who consider themselves as investors but don't have practice of investors, will have high chance of getting losses. Because in practice, they are not investors, but are speculators with short-sighted thinking and activities or worse they turn to be traders in this volatile market.

There's the principle of caveat emptor. If somebody convinces you to buy a small bottle of liquid that supposed to make you live more than a hundred years, you won't just accept everything as true and buy. The same with Bitcoin. If your friend tells you to buy Bitcoin because it doubles your money in a week's time, you won't just accept it right away and buy. You have to do your part, your responsibility of knowing whether what's claimed is true or not.

Yes of course if you want to give someone an idea about Bitcoin, you have to explain both the positives and the negatives. Because if you only explain the positives to someone, they will invest without knowing the risks and blame you if they suffer a loss. Bitcoin is risky so don't expect quick profits by investing in Bitcoin. If you want to profit by investing in Bitcoin, you have to hold the investment for a long time. Everyone can invest but not everyone can hold for long. You can't guarantee profits by investing in Bitcoin, but you can expect profits if you hold it for the long term.
