What do we really desire? We all have different reasons why we gamble. It's not just about winning but it's also about the entertainment that gambling provides. Its exactly why the gambling industry continues to grow and remain profitable because so many gamblers are willing to take risks and even lose money just for the thrill and fun of it. At the end of the day, it’s a form of entertainment,  and when you’re entertained, why would you stop?

Some people prefer to stop playing when they have exhausted their funds. It's to me not actually managing your risk. As a gambler you should recognise when you have made substantial amount of loss and consider quitting for the day and continue some other time. Like I know everyone gamblers desires winning and for that they must gamble till their desires comes but even as that they wouldn't still get that winning coming as they wishes but however,  knowing when to stop and when not to gamble anymore really matters in gambling and in everything we are doing, quitting is very much important because if we continue gambling it would increase the chances of losing more better unlike how they should get winning.

There are many different signs when a gambler should stop gambling because it is starting to interfere with his life, good relationships with loved ones and money management.
If I go into more detail about this topic, I want to say that the first sign of problem gambling is lying to family members, as well as excessive spending of money that was intended for basic needs. Such as paying for food, housing, buying yourself normal clothes, if one of these signs is violated, this means that gambling has become problematic and such a gambler needs to say "stop" to himself and see how calmly he can maintain without gambling for some time, for example, a month.

The only time or period you can think of stopping gambling is when the loss you have incurred is way greater than the gain or profit you have made and after this you still gamble and make further loss you will willingly stop because at this point in time you should be able to know that, the gambling is doing you more harm than good. In my opinion, a gambler wouldnt really stop it. But if theres a goal then its possible. Some who gamble are definitely aiming to win some decent profit or let say life changing money, but these profits will be spent later om giving them an idea to play again, unless he/she got some business to focus on and leave fully the gambling environment. Its depend on their contentment.

The gambler should stop gambling in two cases: 1. When the bankroll is completely lost. 2. When winning the amount that the gambler has determined in advance as the target (for example, the goal is to double the bankroll, or increase the bankroll by one and a half times). If the gambler has won even more than he intended, he must nevertheless stop playing. It's better to play it next time.

first= you're not happy while betting, or generally speaking this has a big impact on your mood.

second case= you're out of cash, or just you have used all amount that was initially ready to be used for gambling.

They will difficult to stop gambling even if they don't have any money. They will deposit more money and even they will taking from their saving. But if they realize that when their money runs out, that will the time for them to stop gambling.

They don't have to continue gambling if that is happen because that can make them loss more money. It is better to prevent big loss than experiencing that because we will regret with what we do.

Those who keep trying luck by keep playing gambling will not get their winning easily. They must remember that gambling is an activity for have fun in their free time. Gambling is not source of income like their job or business.

The best time to stop gambling is when you detect that you are getting obsessed and greedy, it starts gradually and if it isn't controlled it can damage and ruin your finances... it's hard for most gamblers to stop because they feel like if they continue trying there would be a chance of winning, some people say that some gamblers quit before hitting the bag, that's absurd to me cause there's no assurance of winning, there's also a possibility that they can keep losing without winning anything.

We don't know when would they, perhaps when there will be a traumatic experience that will affect him for the rest of his life that he will realized to stop gambling. Like his family moving away from him, or his life is being threaten by people who he owns money.

It's the lure of gambling, the effect on our minds, the adrenaline rush and the unknown that we want to try it again and again even if we know that the odds are pretty much stack against us. Well the sad reality is the addiction gets the upper hand and leads to something fatal. Some people dont get that addicted and are able to move on with life and we should focus more on how one can achieve that instead of the darker side.

Its because the money-making-machine is right in front of them when they have just lost money. It is a psychological trap, because they can never make money from that casino instead lose by a amount every-time they play but they are not in a state to understand this during the loss because of the grief that happens after the loss.

Before addiction, a gambler can stop when they begin to experience frustration in loses. That's if they can recognize the outset of frustration. However, when addiction sets in it will take others to stop the gambler. That's where rehabilitation comes in. Remember, no one suffering addiction realizes it until they're confronted with it. Addicts live in denial.

People don't want to stop gambling because they chose it to make money. Even after losing a lot they expect to play more because they want to get revenge. In the end he might not stop until he loses all his wealth.

People make things complicated for themselves, if you are a beginner gambler and you notice your gambling activities are becoming unusual give yourself some boundaries and stop doing it for a while. People keep pushing their luck hoping to get lucky, this is human nature and That's what gambling is all about, you can't really tell if you are going to win the next bet. But if you keep this up it can make your addiction to Gambling worse. Give yourself a limit and do your best not to exceed it even when you are winning or losing.

OP, there is no answer to your question. Age is just a number and as long as person is able to make a click, he can gamble. Money is important thing for gambling, but not everyone gamble to earn them. Think about billionaires and those who gamble for fun - there is no exact moment when they should stop gambling. Think about dopamine. People gamble to get it, its like food for them. That is why knowing that they going to lose next bet or lose again and again does not stop them.

A gambler should stop gambling after he has lost the amount of money he assigned to gamble for the day. This is why you must set aside an amount that you can let go, whenever you want to gamble.

Of course, some gamblers believes that their luck lies on the next game and that's why you see them continue playing after losing. Some gamblers, also feel that if you don't continue playing, you wouldn't knlw when you will be lucky. Why the last set of gamblers are gambling for fun.
