There is no perfect time to stop gambling, it all depends on the situation one encounters while gambling. when a person have planned to gamble with $50 for the day and he has already lost $25, then its the time to take a break from gambling for the day. If he was lucky to recover the losses by the next day, then he can continue it for the day. At some point he may loss the $50 for the day and his mind wants to gamble, but he doesn't have funds to gamble. if his mind says to borrow and gamble, he needs to stop gambling. going beyond that is going to ruin his life, maybe there are successful people who have gambled with the borrowed money. We need to stick with the reality where the success story seems to be one and the losing stories will be countless.

Since we are adults, with intelligent and reasonable thinking, it means that when we go gambling in a casino, we should set aside money for that purpose. And I feel that the best reason why someone should quit gambling is when he notices that his gambling habits are gradually becoming an addiction and he’s not always able to control it whenever he finds himself in such situations, that I believe is the best time to consider completely quitting gambling or quitting for a few months to recoup and maybe try to gain better control of their finances and gambling. The decision to stop gambling depends on several factors, including the player's motivation, level of self-control and financial situation, but one should definitely stop gambling especially when financial losses become significant, when addiction becomes evident, if the person feels frustrated, stressed or anxious due to losses or the pressure to win or even in cases where one has already achieved one's financial or entertainment goals, then one should stop.

But obviously this is not what happens and the reasons for continuing to gamble are the illusion that one is in control of the outcome, the pursuit of losses and the effect of Dopamine and adrenaline itself that create a feeling of pleasure and excitement that can lead players to continue gambling.

Well yes that's what I think too, because the title above can be two ways, namely quitting permanently or just taking a break as you said, but the point is a gambler must stop when they are experiencing a losing streak or when their involvement is no longer healthy in the sense that it has caused many financial problems then they must stop permanently, there is no other better choice than that.

Another good rule is to allocate $10 to $50 per week and if you lose that amount then take a rest for a week and do it again in the same way. It's going to be fun but there won't be huge losses, and there's chance that someone might wins some games in the next weeks and similarly if that person wins $50 to $100 in next week then he/she should again stop gambling for the week.

Well I was also thinking the same, but you should know that most people are only doing this just for fun making and as well as a means of entertainment whenever they're bored. A lost has happened because of gambling, people ahs lost their sanity and they intend not to know that they are been destroy by gambling. Just as you said, one must know when to stop especially when its threatening your relationship and reputation, never trade them for gambling. be smart and know your value and ever allow things that doesn't fetch you more money to ruin your life, selling of properties for gambling is one useless decision ever any reason man should take.

In my opinion, a gambler wouldnt really stop it. But if theres a goal then its possible. Some who gamble are definitely aiming to win some decent profit or let say life changing money, but these profits will be spent later om giving them an idea to play again, unless he/she got some business to focus on and leave fully the gambling environment. Its depend on their contentment.

Just like a popular saying "once a gambler, always a gambler". It's hard for a gambler to quit, if you check those people that claim to have stopped gambling there's a possibility that they still do it secretly without anyone knowing. Gamblers are always stuck in the cycle of making profit and losing it all over again, this constant repetition makes them more addicted and find it impossible to stop. Stopping totally takes a certain level of discipline that a lot of people don't have, the only way to win is to stop giving it time, it's a losing game.

But then to answer you actually, no body is able to tell the possible outcome of a match or game accurately, we only predict, and this is why there is gambling, betting in the first place.
If any body was able to tell whether they will win or lose a certain game or match, such person will do well to avoid playing those games or matches he or she know he won't win on - no body enjoys wasting money you know.
So, the fact that people are trying their luck simply means that they are trying it to win.

And as for when to quit gambling, I would say that any time gambling becomes uncomfortable, unenjoyable, unexciting anymore, you feel like you are forcing yourself to gamble, this is a good time to either take a break or quit.

If we use gambling as a mean of entertainment, we will not visit the casino too often because we have other things that we will do. We don't want to be deeper in gambling because we already knew what will happen later so we always use limitation while gambling so we know when we must stop gambling.

We can stop gambling for temporary especially if we have so many things to do. We don't depend on gambling to spend our free time because we have other fun things that we can do to enjou our time.

It is true, what is meant is that all behavior [positive or negative towards gambling really depends on how a gambler understands and views it, simply when a gambler misunderstands gambling such as assuming that gambling is an alternative to get rich quick then usually their behavior will tend to be aggressive because of the hope of getting a big win that will continue to drive them and this is the reason why it is sometimes very difficult to advise them to set limits. If you are not an addicted gambler, whenever you notice that the luck is not on your side like when you have gambled for countless times without recording any winning you shouldn't expect anyone to ask you to stop rather you should stop for the moment then come back to try again some other time. If you are having a lucky day like when you have won a reasonable amount of money without experiencing losses you need to stop gambling so that you won't lose all that you won.
In gambling people keep gambling when they are losing because they think the moment they stop gambling may be the time when they will win that's why they keep chasing losses when they know it's not a lucky day for them.
