see as ehh dey real like email coming from CoinBase, and  they wey the email address dey ehh go make you believe say now from CoinBase, because the email end with CoinBase.com why now fake email from scammers. See CoinBase email address support@coinbase.com.
My advice now try dey confirm any email wey you receive from any exchange or from anything at all before you take action, because scammers get many way to use scam people online.

Scammers are hacking into corporate accounts of email marketing services and using them to send fake messages to people who are likely to have cryptocurrency wallets.

These emails are designed to look like they come from trusted source, such as Coinbase, and claim that Coinbase is switching to self-custody wallets. They instruct users to create such wallets  ^{referring to Coinbase Wallet, which exists as a mobile app and a browser extension} , to enter a 12-word SEED provided in the same email and after this transfer their stashes into newly created wallet.

In my opinion, it’s a dumb trick  ^{however I assume that  it works because ppl confuse their Coinbase  exchange account with Coinbase Wallet which is self custody wallet and think that  the given  seed phrase is part of "recovery"  for their stash hold on Coinbase account .}
