Edit: The person did not say the woman is gambling with the money. He said he would probably have paid up her loan but she continued to kill people that maybe she is gambling with the money. Normally if you lend someone some money today it will be hard to pay back, have anyone not notice this? People find it very bad to pay back what the owe, and as the debt piles up they will still ho around borrowing more money, some people live this way and they don't just care.
There is more to her than just this killing, you can't tell me that one day she wake up from her bed and started thinking about how to take her targets out to pay her debt, she was already not a good person.

Reading from the link @Oshosondy dropped there was no gambling related post in there, I think the video makes things more complex than the link, or I would say that since video was made by a content creator he was only making that video to looks more interesting and catches attention to the listeners.

Most times I do click if my system or phone doesn't detect the link as finishing link, it's important to follow information properly than just following up the write-up by op to comment.

For about manners and ethics how people should react over each others here differs, and you wouldn't expect a fellow to communicate nicely knowing too well here is public place where anyone Dishes out comes from anus and not senses, because no sensible user could just start up abusive words without at first admitting they are wrong and apologize for their errors. In my view you didn't have to drag this mate, the story as comprehensively given shows a lot about the interrelatedness and influence of gambling as a substantive part among other  habits (murderer and wickedness) in her which includes greed too that made her to carry out such barbaric acts over the years till she got caught eventually.

Remember, it all started from the money she took as loan from "loan sharks", and it's obvious the loan was taken to satisfy her gambling addiction. Hence, how else can we say she was spending all of those money so fast just to come back for another target.

Generally, gambling addiction especially chronic gambling is bad and it can erupt the other darkest sides of you in a way you could never imagine.
As for the exchange of lethal words I don't know how this has to lead to that, it's just unnecessary.

even if she was gambling, i think it is too much of a reach to say that she did all of this just to gamble she could have been addicted to something else other than gambling and maybe she would still have done the same thing

These are exactly my thoughts on this, it's a mental disorder that's unrelated to Gambling. There are lots of psychological disorders and this is one of them. If she did it desperately due to Gambling addiction then it wouldn't have been multiple cases. I'm even sure that she's just using the gambling addiction as a cover of the hideous crime she committed. It's even more alarming that she's a uniform personnel, how did she even make it through the police academy. Does this mean that we have more monsters like this in the police force?

From what I understand, that addict is too intense and cruel to kill or murder people just because of the addiction that the killer actually has. Which is the reason for his imprisonment,
and that is not normal as all of us here know.

So, it seems that the lesson being shown is that having an addiction does not really bring anything good, especially if it was acquired or started through gambling. In that case, it also seems that the addicted killer was not able to recover from the problem that he had during the time he committed the crime.

Good point. The topic is now in the off-topic section, where I believe it rightly belongs. Many of us are guilty of not checking the link or the video and just relying on the post on the discussion because we trust that it has already summarized it. It's a learning process for us to check the link or watch the video next time.

With the requirement of users having to post x amount of posts in that section(even I require 4 posts), users go posting stupid questions and stupid topics to meet their quota.

It's not a first time complaint about zero value topics in gambling board created for discussions.

You pointed out a good reason but let me add something. People created those topics for discussions and post quota like you said, but more than that they need fresh topics by terms in campaigns that posts in Mega threads won't count, posts in after page 5, 10 of a thread won't count.

I am very sure that it's reason and it's side effects of that campaign term, but there is always exploitation and at the end, campaign managers decide whether posts are deserved to be counted for payment.
