Stocks is not really bad if you know your way around it and I think it is safer than trading. Imagine owning stocks in the big tech companies, that is something you can keep as a legacy for your children unlike trading that you are facing a 50/50 chance of losing your money or making profit. Stock is a profitable investment, but you must be willing to give it time after choosing stocks of companies that are still in high demands and not moribund companies that have been overtaken by time and technology.

I'm really stupid about the stock market and I don't fully understand how it works. To this day I am completely blind to the stock market - that's because I'm not interested in it. The crypto market has really interested me since I got to know it - so I'm not that interested in other markets including the stock market.

You just don't know it yet, you aren't stupid. 
Although there are some differences between stocks and crypto, it is actually not totally something different. If you understand well crypto market, I'm sure you will also easily understand stock market. However it is purely a choice, if you have no intention in stock market, kindly focus on crypto market.

Those Big tech companies you alluded to there can by likened to the "Bitcoin" of that sector. Majority can't afford to get them just like many of us are unable to acquire a single Bitcoin now.

Every investment type has risk associated with it. I witnessed when the shares of a prominent bank in my country plummeted badly in the late 90s. It got to the point where investors grumbled they didn't want anything any more to do with the bank. I watched all that drama. So, let's not vehemently conclude that stocks are more profitable.

In my opinion, buying shares on the stock market looks more promising than investing in cryptocurrencies, since you are buying a part of a real business in this way, rather than virtual coins, which are also highly volatile. In addition, shareholders are protected by law and receive dividends.So I think it would be right to keep some of assets in securities to diversify your risks.

Depends entirely on the situation on the market, what your personal goals are, and how you would like to achieve them: faster, more stable, with less funds at the start, and so much more..

They are both profitable but being mindful of the risks is one thing that should be considered especially in trading, cause for investing everything seems to be easier and safer but likewise trading your loss counts will be unmeasurable. But investing in stocks I wouldn't buy into it cause the companies or banks can be selfish sometimes and swayed or limit you of getting your accrued interest and profits.

Not to mention, to be able to make big profits from stocks requires patience and holding for a fairly long time as well as a significant amount of capital. Unlike crypto , where people can make quick profits or get rich with small capital . So it is no surprise that many  people would choose crypto over stocks or gold these days.

I think many brokers offers the services of stock trading, maybe Bybit is trying to catch the market for those who use cryptocurrency which is a good thing. Before know, I have always known that investing in the stock market of any stock that is publicly traded was possible except for people in some countries that may be suffering sanctions. Exness, IC markets, HFM and many others allow the trading of stocks.

You can actually do both thing if you are that been able to do so or simply it will be basing up on your own risks tolerance since not all would really be having that kind of level of risks tolerance on which some will be just that sticking into something that isnt tedious or something and thats why they do end up with this kind of option. Invest or trade then it will always matter into your own preference on which of course you do need up to consider on what are the things that you do really need up to do or basing on where your interest would be that settling in. Investing on stocks isnt that liquid in compared into other markets but there are people who do want to stick up with this because its not something that needing up that active engagement or simply they dont do something in comparing when you are trying out to do trading on which this isnt something that not everyone will be doing .

In my case then i have been that doing up both things on which I do make out some investment at the same time i do trading on which it would be that too boring that you would be just that gonna wait for your long term investment profits to be realized. Well, it would be on case to case basis on which just like been said that not all would be having on the same mentality when it comes into the preferences because if you do stick up into something that you dont want to do then you will be that having those potential mistakes.

Trading and investing are two different things depending on what you have passion for. Anybody can become an investor but for trading, not everybody can be emotional enough to trade the market. If you don't know how to trade, it's better you stay away from trading and keep investing in those projects you think will make more profits for you. There are so many things traders need to put into accountability or else, the plan of making profits in the market might be shattered.

I checked the course and it's in video form so even better to watch it rather than reading. I am just too lazy to read lol.

I am more of an investor type of person because I am good at spotting how things will unfold in the long future compared to how they would look in the near future. There are people who can predict quick movements but I am just bad at it, quite simple as that.

BTC will be $250k+ in the next years, me thinks. But, I don't know what BTC will be in the next 3 days .

It is not really easy to make money from trading because of the high risks it involves. A trader also needs to be someone who is not always occupied with other activities, because you need time to analyze the market every time you want to enter it. In fact, there is a lot to deal with when you want to become a trader, and without enough time, someone can't do all the things that can lead to success in trading.

So, I feel that for a worker who is always occupied, it's better to focus on investments like Bitcoin, which don't require much effort before buying. You can continue buying Bitcoin anytime, any day, and it doesn't require studying the market first like trading does.I’m not discouraging anyone, but the truth is that even before learning how to trade, someone who invests might already start making profits from their investment possibly even before they finish learning how to trade in order to make profits.

Investment is obviously a better idea if you are aiming for the long term but that doesn’t mean you can’t do any trades while making investments.

When you trim, reallocate, add to your positions you are already making trades. Not in a general gambler/trader perspective but they are still trades.

Trading doesn’t always mean you should buy at some price and make x% returns on a certain time frame. It is not even a viable way. Even most algorithms can’t do that kind of trading well.

        I prefer trading, coz when it is approached with discipline it offers faster returns than stock investments.  Waiting for the returns from an investment especially in a country with high inflation and an unpredictable economy fees like watching a paint dry .
        Am not saying that trading is easy, far from it. It demands a very strong plans, and a serious risk management. lt however, also sharpens one decision making process and make one better  understands the market.
        Some may say that investment is safer, but at the end of the day no business is 100% safe and without risk.

Well, I for one don't like the idea of stocks. I will rather put my money into crypto investment than do it in stocks. I don't know if it's because of the hanky panky way I perceive stocks are handled in my country that has made lose faith in that sector or it's just my thinking that crypto investments give better ROI than stocks. Any day, any time, I'm more settled in cryptos than stocks for now.

I think stocks can be global, as there are lots of companies around the world. So if you have doubts in stocks in your own country, then just ignore them and try stocks on other countries instead. As for me, I don't have enough interest on stocks even if that. I think it is because I am not used to them or I see them more complicated than in crypto. The icons in cryptos are also colourful that I think even kids can be attracted with it easily. Guess that is another reason to add. Your thinking is right.

Cryptos can really give better ROI due to their nature like they have a very limited supply. This is another plus point for them, for some people, as that also comes with a consequence, which makes some people prefer stocks.

Actually, all investments carry the risks. And to calculate how much risk there is in any investment, the only thing you need to pay attention to is the price volatility of that investment source, because I personally think that the higher the volatility of an item, the higher its investment risk score. Although here, along with the risk, the potential for profit is also very high.

And here I would agree with you that crypto currencies are a little riskier because the volatility of the coins here is lower than many shares in the stock market and although the potential for profit is lower, the amount is higher.

I don't deny that there is more risk in cryptocurrency investment becuase of the decentralized system where the govegovernment couldn't  regulate but in my personal opinion that we have to also agree with this that there is regulation in stock market investments sources that doesn't means it will guarantee of your protection.

Becuase even the stock market companies are under the regulation, there is lots of scam incidents in stock market You could found some by searching in Google Enron(around $60billion) in 2001, Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme( $65 billion) in 2008, Wirecard 2 billion etc.

So I think for both sides, if the investment is not done through the right channels, there is a possibility of huge losses.
