Which time government go do us better because me don tire for everything. As them increase the monthly stipends wey Corpers go chop, how we wan carry survive when the cost of living wan kill the living. Honestly, you just said what was in my mind. Although, it’s a good thing that the increment was made but I believe the government should still do more because of the current economic situation of the country, price hike everyday. Let’s say for example in the year 2021, 33k has more value than the current 77k corpers are receiving now because the value of things then where not as high as of today. Even with the 77k a month, one cannot feed properly and still try to sort out one or two things for him or herself, it is not possible. Most places of primary assignment don’t even pay corpers, so you can just imagine. The government should just do more because the hardship during Nysc is not an easy one and at the same time I don’t see the importance of Nysc.

Concerning this issue of endorsement for second tenure, I don't really see a necessity for endorsement just because the wages for NYSC members were increased. The administration we're experiencing at some point was supposed to be a good one but the procedures applied in the policy-making process are nothing to write about, making it one of the worst democratic governments. Ranging from the imposition of taxes to the different ways leadership decisions have been made, I don't think a second tenure will be favourable.

Let's take the Rivers state saga as a case study where a state governor was suspended alongside the state parliament by the President. For God's sake, the state we're talking about (Nigeria) is a federal state and every level of government has its own autonomous power. How can the President of a federal state think of suspending the Executive and Legislative arms of a state government?  It's so uncalled for. This act alone shows the level of autocracy Nigerians will witness if this man is elected for a second tenure.

Let us put together these little facts and make proper analysis before heading to the poll because we (Nigerians) deserve better.

Yes, that is a welcome development and good luck to coppers, but coppers are part of a whole country, Nigerians needs attention in so many areas including low cost of living in order to survive, imagine a family man receiving 77k as salary and you are paying house rent, how do you expect such person to do well, but if the country is economical 77k is a big money and can take care of a family for a month.

Consider when a bag of rice was 8k and dollar rate was about 150 naira, and fuel price was about 90 naira, the economy was okay and people were at least seeing food to eat and have small money for other things , but today the reverse is the case, and even when someone is earning 500k in Nigeria, the person will still struggle to survive and that is absolutely very bad.

What a good leader does is to listing to the voice of his followers, and not to stick to his own personal decision because he was elected by the same people to lead them, he did not jump into that leadership position.

With the number of coppers and graduates we have in the country, their is need to carry out more transparent empowerment to help the Nigerian youth as this is by far better than increasing coppers allowance.

Increasing it more than the amount is not something of having any positive change from them because if it was the masses they wouldn't have done it but because of the poor number of people doing there NYSC is why they choose to increase it on them so that people go see am say them they work. If everybody is lucky and new government emerged they will even increase this money more than this current one because there will  be a good consideration on them considering were they post some, and also we would have a good minimum wages including fighting to end inflation of prices.

Well, this one truly be good news for corpers wey don dey wait for this kind update since. E show say at least government fit still remember youth once in a while. But make we talk true, this money no still balance well with how the economy dey go. Things don cost for market food, transport, even small things no dey cheap again. If person no dey serve for him own state, na another problem because rent go chop money, feeding go follow, and before month end the allawee don finish.
