Bitcoin has been great over decade now like you  said but that doesn't mean Bitcoin is risk free and that people should rush into it and the fact that it is also a decentralized asset doesn't mean something can not go wrong off course something can go wrong and that is why we are advised to always use our discretionary income to invest in case there's any challenge. Being decentralized means the government can not alter anything or influence it but you can only be on a safer side if you have the long term mindset because the beauty and greatness of Bitcoin is always seen in the long term.

Everybody has their ideology about what crypto and Bitcoin is, and for the fact that they sees Bitcoin as a high risk investment that is not worth taking, it still doesn't change the fact about Bitcoin been the best investment opportunity to ever exist.
