I and my friends just had an arguement, they said anything called cryptocurrency including bitcoin is very risky and the Risk is not worth taking.

Don't blame your friends that ague with you, they are just probably not knowledgeable about Bitcoin and how it works. We were once in that shoes before. The problem about people is that they are too quick to judge things they don't know. about. They would probably say the opposite when they get to know more about Bitcoin.

Assume they have the knowledge of BTC I don't think they will ague with you so long, because those that understood BTC and how the market move during the bear and bull season they will not doubt BTC or ask such question.there are some people who don't believe that decentralized asset can bring such results people are spreading all over the world about BTC, and if you meet such people they will surely ask you some questions that will make you believe that they don't have the knowledge of BTC.

You must have to understand that bitcoin is also crypto and it is also volatile making it risky to invest because you can either gain or loss more money.

Yea very true, we can’t rule out the place of risk in bitcoin, hence everyone should be properly enlightened before they venture into bitcoin especially because of its volatility, however it’s still a good venture to invest into because it has the capability of changing once financial story for good. We can’t say because of the risk involved that people should not invest in it, mind you life itself is a risk, there is no investment without a risk, so to me every investment is risky and anyone who is willing to make significant financial difference shouldn’t be afraid to take the risk of investing into bitcoin.
