BINANCE STOLE OVER $10K FROM ME – NEED HELP FROM THE COMMUNITY

Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to the community for help and to expose my case with Binance.

Situation Summary

1. Unjustified Account Lock

Binance locked my account claiming a violation of their Terms and Conditions, which I completely deny.

The only unusual thing I did was request a collateral loan to avoid selling my Bitcoin (BTC). I borrowed $500 USDT using $670 in BTC as collateral.



2. Payment Attempts & Support Failures

I wanted to repay the loan, and Binance support confirmed I could do so.

I sent WLD to cover my debt, but Binance rejected the deposit.

Shortly after, they completely blocked my access to my account and support chat.

My clients also tried to deposit funds, but their transactions were rejected.



3. Funds Blocked

Binance is refusing to return my Bitcoin (BTC), which represents most of my money.

At the current market price, my BTC is worth $8,700, and my WLD is worth $600.

My clients’ deposits were also blocked, and I have no access to any of these funds.



4. Support Communication

Initially, Binance support told me they were "reviewing my case" and asked for more time.

Later, they closed the chat, preventing me from responding or appealing.

I provided all requested information (including my contact emails), yet my account remains locked, and my funds are inaccessible.

Current Situation & Request for Help

It has been several business days since Binance locked my account, and I have received no solution. This is 90% of my savings, and I feel completely scammed.

I’m asking the community for help to spread my case and pressure Binance to unlock my account and return my funds. Any advice, guidance, or support would be greatly appreciated.

They don't typically tell exactly what you violated. It could be something else IMO.

Can you still access your conversation with the support? I was thinking you could try to upload it at https://talkimg.com/ and perhaps the community may be able to pick up new information or theories.

Ultimately, you'd have to solve this with binance. Have you tried to reappeal with a new case ID? There's also the subreddit r/Binance that could help you escalate things—just be careful of impostors, always verify first if you're talking to actual team. There is a mod list on the side bar, they won't PM you first, as well.

Rafaeljach you should create separate topic in Scam Accusation board to get more exposure, but I don't think this would help much against Binance exchange.
You can also try reporting Binance to authorities if they are regulated in your country, but be ready to hire a lawyer for that.
This is a risk of using centralized exchanges, they can always get hacked, freeze your coins and confiscate your coins.

Did they not give you the exact terms you breached? This is what you should demand from them so that we can get the clear context of the account block. Please continue sending emails to their support to look into your issue. I believe you have a ticket ID by now.

What I also don't understand is did your client deposit in your very account after it was blocked?

If I were you I would go to their reddit and escalate the case there.

Few years ago Binance blocked my withdrawals over some bullshit reason and after a month of trying to get it sorted and going in circles with their support, things finally got solved after I went to their reddit and share my case with their support there. Iirc it was sorted in a day or two so hopefully this approach helps you as well

There is little the community can do for you. Make noise about this case on their social media handles and see what comes of it, if you take legal actions, you will spend so much in the litigation, so maybe you should not go down that route now.

What's hard about this situation is OP don't have any choice but to contact them directly because he cannot ask any help from here since Binance don't have a thread in Bitcointalk.

Maybe he could share the screenshot of their discussion since somehow this could help other not to trust to much Binance and other centralize exchange. Its hard to trust our money to any other third party platform even if they are reputable since we don't know on when we encounter an issue and they have the full control of our funds.

OP should post a scam accusation so that he could get more better attention on that section since posting it here would him less exposure since only few people visit this section.

I think it is better to spread this issue under their community or social media accounts. Have you tried contacting CZ_Binance on Twitter X? You might get a better response there.

Also try to make a post on their Reddit about your case, and you can also contact them on their Discord account, post your case on their Facebook community page, and try to post your case on their Telegram. Just don't spam on their Telegram because the last time I experienced an issue on Binance, they banned me from accessing their Telegram. It's honestly rude, but I accept and wait for my case to be resolved.

With or without the screenshot, it should be obvious to everyone not to trust a centralized exchange or custodial service with their funds, not your keys, not your coins is one of the most used phrase in the BTC community. Take note that anyone who still uses custodial services as their own wallets, despite all the events of hacks and confiscated funds, would also ignore any warning from this topic, even if op backed up their accusation with proof through screenshots.

Reach out to everybody in Binance, and all their official channels. You might even want to drop CZ, Richard Teng, and whoever a comment or PM. Apart from that, make your story as public as possible. There's Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, and so on. You might also want to make follow-ups every now and then, or even open a new ticket. But don't spam them or their support channels. Be polite and as detailed as possible. Provide hard proofs. I guess, and hope, it helps.

Also, several days isn't too long when it comes to resolving complaints and issues on exchanges. It might take weeks, even months. So, don't give up right away.

Finally, I hope you've learned your lessons. This is the price to pay for using a centralized exchange. Share your lessons with people close to you.

This is another case of users losing their money by keeping it on online exchanges. To get $500, you did not need to hold 9K worth of coins in your exchange account. You could withdraw your funds and keep them in your hardware wallet or a self-custodial wallet where you control the keys. But now, you are unable to do anything because you do not have the private key.

There is a well-known saying, "Not your keys, not your coins," and I believe you have learned a lesson. For now, I suggest continuing to reach their support from different internet and different devices. BTW, this thread should belongs to Scam accusation board.

TBH, I get the impression that binance won't change their mind no matter how many ticket OP opens.. unless they're pressured by external factors like any authorities and/or (mass) general public—both not easy to achieve.

It sucks that you had to learn it hard way not to use exchange as a sort of a bank, and not even one of the most reputable ones like Binance.
When one of them decide to fuck you, there's very little that an average person like you or me can do about it.

Binance Customer Support has asked you of your case number. They'll look into it. I understand you can't log in to your account anymore, but don't you have an email confirming that they've received your ticket already? Your ticket number might be there. If Binance even sends you an email every time you log in, they probably also send you one acknowledging that your ticket is successfully filed and received. That email indicates your ticket number.

It's somehow pointless calling out Binance, its support, CZ, and others if you don't have your case number. If you successfully catch their attention and they would want to help and take a look into your case, the first thing they will ask is your ticket number.

I have provided them via Twitter, via DM to Binance Support, to CZ (CZ never responded obviously) but Binance Support stopped responding to me when I sent them the case number

I have done everything humanly possible, and this case has truly tormented me completely. I also gave all the evidence to the prosecution, obviously receiving a positive - negative, I would say, because it is not a registered company.

Having the money in Binance to do arbitrage has cost me more than what I lost. Right now I'm going to therapy because of the level of anxiety I have.
I don't want anyone to ever have this problem!!!


One of the ways I found viable is to ask for support from the community, but it is impossible to do anything against a CEX whose headquarters are outside your country.

Contacting CZ is like trying to chew water. I don't think he will help, let alone see your posts/DM

Personally, I just want to understand the account was blocked. Could it be they decided to freeze your account pending investigations? Sometimes this happens if there is a court order by someone to Binance to block a certain account because the money trail leads to the addresses linked to the account.
