Just like the title, small odds can really be deceptive such that you would think it's an assurance of certainty only to see that your bet ends in a loss, I'm speaking from experience,  here's my story.

But the thing is even with bigger chances of winning there is still a small chance of loss which could eventually play out.

That is because they think using that strategy can draw them closer to luck, though if you're going for those small odds definitely your chance of winning will be high compared to when you're go for  higher odds which their possiblity of wining will be like 60% to 70% but sometimes they will still win regardless to their wining possiblity. so gambling is just a game of luck, because even if you decide to go for 1.02 odds you will be surprise that one event will end up messing everything up for you.

One thing that you need to be aware is that odds both small and big odds has the same percentage of cutting so personally speaking I don't play my game based on odds because gambling is a game of probability so no body should be deceived in believe that playing games on odds that are small will .


People should place their bet according their beliefs and faith because most of these small odds are actually traps that to people that believe that playing on smaller odds could be easy for them to get a win, this is a mindset that should be removed if any one is to get the best out of gambling

Yes, it is all about luck. As we can't question why a particular team loses when they are the favorite one, or why the team wins when they are the weaker one. This is the same mistakes we keep on falling for as gamblers,in gambling they is no assurance and guarantee for winning. I agree with you that small odds is a deception but only those that are inexperienced in gambling will fall for it. They is somethings we need to understand about small Odds in betting,it's just a possibility that the outcome of your game might likely happen but that doesn't mean it will happen. You are right, and good for you that you came to this realization, this is something some persons like myself have come to know over the years due to experience as well.

I would say that when it comes to sports betting and the casino fixing odds for sports match, casinos are betting too because they have absolutely no control over the outcome of the game or match they fix odds on, what they choose as an odd is (just as you have said), a figment of their own presumptions or assumptions on what they think the outcome of the game will likely be, so they too are not really sure, this is why sports betting is much better than casino and slot games because casinos have more control on this type of games.

There is no way we can treat all odd equally because odds differs, a low odd is different from a high odd, and both does not offer the same level of opportunities, winning on a high odds does not give the same profit as winning on a low odds, so I am wondering why you think we should treat the odds the same?

Best way in sports betting is to always take out time to look for odds with good value, a high or low odds may both have the same chances of winning or losing, even though many of us have come to settle down on the fact that high odds are more difficult to win, this depends on the gambler him or herself, and How much time he or she has to spend on research, to make sure he or she knows what he or she is doing in terms of choosing bets.

whoever places the bets knows how the matches go, even a fool would understand that in reality they study every day to encourage you to bet, the study is done on purpose to try to understand which odds are the best, then the fact that the price is managed automatically is another matter

Small odds are not good. I mean any odd below 1.2. You will see odd as low as 1.01. I have seen 1.005 on some betting sites before. 1.02 is very common on many betting sites.

An odd that you can go for many times but in a way that you have not gained the money used for betting is not good. It makes people use high amount of money to bet.

I agree with you that's sport games you can't rely only on small odds because everyday will not be the same, sometimes the smaller team win and sometimes the big team wins. Literally, when am placing bets i don't even look at the odds, after checking some statistics of both teams i analyze the bet based on the result i get so even when i check the odds and see that it is higher, i still go ahead and bet it that way and it works for me severally but if it where to be some people, even after analyzing a bet and they see that the odds given to the side that the match will likely favor is way higher, they get scared and either bet on the small odds which is against their choice or choose another options for that particular match. Though sometimes what i do in such circumstance is to discard the match and look for other matches to bet on.

The power of small odds has made a lot of gamblers lost big in betting and many of these casinos know what they are doing.
Sometimes they will set a odd that looks small and easy to give you a win at the end of the day but you would be surprised that such games that you have accumulated will not finally enter. Yeap Fully agree with you. It is better not to bet than to make a profit from betting less than $1. You cannot make much profit by betting such a small amount. To make a minimum profit, you must bet about $1+. Although $1 is very low, I think a minimum of one dollar is acceptable. It is best to avoid minimal bets because they will not do you any good. Suppose you win by betting a small amount; then you will notice no joy. Then you will feel it would have been better if you had not won.

@Wonder Work, The wager amount is not what's being discussed here, but the odds to be considered. It's more appropriate to place a bet on a game with odds higher than what OP shared. What's the point of placing a bet on a game with 1.09 odds that's almost a zero profit? On a risky game it's better I wager no matter how small the money is, even if it's less than a dollar on a game with above 1.4 odds. That way I know it's worth the risk. If there's a win, the profit will be worth it; if I lose, also it's worth it.
