Just because a careless driver wants to run you over while you were going shopping, you have concluded that shops are not safe. There are terrible drivers everywhere not only close to shops. I am just wondering what the relationship is between buying gifts for loved ones and the encounter you have with the driver. You could still have an encounter with reckless drivers even when you go out to shop for basic needs. I don't know those people at those places. And if I did, I would know how fucked up they are. So I cannot attest to their moral virtue. I am hereby boycotting all unnecessary products and services. I am glad that you see that a universal boycott is also in order. We should be very wary of doing business with people we don't know and trust unless it is absolutely necessary. These businesses are filled with people who want to run me over, and that means that these businesses have been consumed with evil and hatred.

Well, since cars always try to run me over, I did what anyone should do and ask random people in the store if they want to run me over because I want to know if they want to run me over. Do you expect me to be happy when people just want to run me over? Most people did not respond, but someone said 'yes'. I therefore got the information I wanted. I know that the people in that store actually do want me to get ran over. I do not need everyone to want to run over me for me to boycott all stores. And I do not need to boycott all stores to the point where I do not get the goods I need. I will just stop getting any unnecessary goods unless perhaps if I personally know some people who work at that store who can attest to its moral virtue. You should do the same. I'm wondering if Op has a personal issue with a particular shop owner who may be of fetish practices that's being revealed of using peoples money to do some darkness evil. I don't just know because I don't see it being a waste of resources if you buys something beyond necessary from the shop. If I was earlier right about the Op, you've no choice than to accept to end the grieves of you and the shop owners in your local zones because you can't just be sentimental with everyone in you society and expect friendly or good services from them.
Allowing the enemity between you all grow will handicap you like a prison because you'd still need their services to transact with human needs.
Besides if they really need your money to run you down they it should be in the cases of manipulating your mind to spend unnecessarily by being convinced under marketing strategies for you to buy more items that might not be necessarily needed in a meantime of financial straggling which doesn't seem encouraging for good financial management.

So to curtail with the economy situation, buying what's only essential in economical expenses will help have a conducive expenditures that's to sustain you and your family in a long time.

Its important for mental health and success in general to focus on positive aspects of society and life. While there are people in the area you are living who are apparently impressive people, other people in other areas, and even entire shopping malls, are filled with people who the supermajority if not everyone there would certainly not say they want you to be run over.

Negativity can lead to negative feedback spirals where people become depressed from negative aspects of society and they accomplish less in life as a result of being dragged down by negative thoughts.

I do suppose there are localities, especially in urban areas, where people are hostile to one another. But even there, perhaps a few of those people are helpful and caring. You could make it a point to find those people and thank them for their behaviors in a positive feedback loop.

I'm glad for not being able to experience it personally. I guess you are talking about some place which is slowly spiraling into chaos due to political radicalization and extremism. This is a form of societal decay and if not controlled early could turn into a lawless society.

There are freedom of expression but that doesn't mean you are free to hurt others. The only explanation for what you are going through is that you live in another world. You don't see things the way sane people will see them. How will you go into a shop and ask random people if they want to run you over? If you asked me such a question, I might say yes because the question sounds embarrassing. Now how can you assume that people looked at you with hatred and want to run you over. How did you ever perceive or determine that?

If you want to boycott stores until workers "attest to their moral virtue" you might not get anything from the shop. Moral virtue is subjective, what is moral value to you might be weird to another person.

However, I suggest you stop going to stores and order what you need online. At least you can have an employee who has some behavior you cherish and who can deliver them to you.

If you have such experience while you went to store doesn't necessarily mean such situation are routine to all stores we go to buy things, stores are were a lot of us buys things not on the rare basis but everyday and I have not been harass for ones by anybody, instead all I see usually is a kind gestures by the sellers so that I will have the urge to come back next time, however even if someone is not on good terms with a store, buying from them is not giving your money to an enemy because is called exchange, you gave them money in place of items, in other words they have also giving there items to an enemy if you think that way because the given comes from both sides.
