Hi,

In between 2015 to 2020 I used to make money online doing various freelance tasks. I made most of the money through content writing, article writing & forum posting. First I started as a virtual assistant.

After 2022, Fiverr banned me without any reason (A lot of people know that fiverr bans without any specific reason), Upwork does not gives a job instead I have lost a lot of money purchasing connects. PeoplePerHour does not allow any freelancers anymore.

I have lost more than $10K doing crypto trading and forex trading. You will find a lot of way to make money on youtube, but they are trash. They makes those videos for views only. Nothing else.

I have tried online survey, I earned points working all the day almost 7-8 hours and they just banned the account without payment.

Going through a very much financial crisis and mentally exhausted.
I don't know what to do now!
If you have any idea in mind just let me know.

[YouTube] Content creation is one way you can go about this, and if you can tap into your local community then this makes it easy to have an audience for your content.

If youtubing is too much work, you can try out affiliate marketing and if you have supporting stuff like a website, online business etc this should help you make passive income.

Trading is also a hot favorite in 2025,give it another shot and this time focus on the education.

may i ask why you stopped forum posting?

there are still a lot of signature campaigns around the forum that are active and that pays well although a lot of the campaign managers look at the amounts of merit and they will depend on that to determine the money you will make

seems like you have gone through the entire internet workplace already

lots of people are earning a lot through content creation nowadays or anything similar to that editor and etc

I'm sorry with your loss and that's a lot to be honest. I've experienced losses too and I know how it feels.

Don't stop in looking for freelance marketplaces. There are too many of them if you're into content creation or article writing, I think that you need to change your niche or there is a need for you to upgrade your skill.

It's sad that many of these articles are being written by AI but there is someone who prompts the articles so, if there is one company that looks to that one then you're qualified for that.

But that's what I can suggest you, if you're struggling to find an employer with that skill, you need to upskill.

I hear you. Online earning can be tough, and scams make it worse. Try high-demand skills like SEO, coding, or digital marketing. Keep pushing forward—there’s always a way!

There are many ways to earn money online so you should improve your skills. It is really sad that you have faced such losses because your knowledge in your field was very less. If you learn new skills you will get more job opportunities like digital marketing graphic design web development video editing etc. You have to choose a suitable career path according to your interests and skills. Over time if you acquire new skills and use those skills you will be able to earn successfully online.

After 2022, Fiverr banned me without any reason (A lot of people know that fiverr bans without any specific reason),

If you want the best advice, you should tell us why you got banned so we don't offer you the same advice.   No company bans an income source for no reason - just because they don't tell you doesn't mean they don't have a reason.

The first question you should ask yourself in your employment search - are you a salesman?   Are you popular,. well liked, respected, looked to for advice, etc?  If you are outgoing you can take existing products that offer great referral rates and sell them.  AI agents are one of the newest trends - you could go door to small business door and show the owner how your software can do the work of a receptionist - for mere dollars per day.

If you are not into sales, you can still be creative, but you'll need to partner with someone who can sell.   Do some research, find which APIs play nice together, and you can get AI to help you integrate the various agents into unique solutions people could not have believed of just a couple years ago.  Then give the popular guy with no brains a few bucks to sell it, or find cheap online advertising from new and upcoming services.

What do you do to get creative?  If you just browse forums like this, you will only regurgitate ideas others have had.  I suggest keeping your favorite platform (Youtube, TikTok, etc) running short videos in the background... you'll eventually get an idea that will work with crypto.  Don't fall into the trap that others do and search for something to force crypto on.

I earned more than $15,000+ from that fiverr account. There was one buyer who was aggressively purchasing my gigs. 90% of the revenue came from one buyer. Maybe fiverr thought something is going wrong. Maybe a money laundering is going on! I was a level-2 seller at that time. I think because of that buyer I lost the account but made a good amount of money.

A lot of people suggesting youtube and content creation. I must consider, it.
But it does not provide immediate financial relief, just like fiverr gives. Like 2-3 sales would allow me financially and slowly I can recover.

What I have learned from crypto trading is never using leverage more than 5x it will blow the account soon or later.
But crypto trading is not a good thing to start, because last month "February to March" when the market was totally bearish, I received multiple trusted crypto sources that market is going to be bullish. But that never happened.

Writing niche is totally down right now. There is job space for virtual assistants but marketplaces like fiverr not allowing me. PeoplePerHour directly said they are not accepting new freelancers at all. Upwork is a scam, they makes you buy connects and only those get's jobs who have reviews and ratings in their profile. For me I do not have any work experience there.

For example- If I was a buyer and I need a virtual assistant, I must hire someone who got some experience. Because I need to make some work done properly. And Upwork's pay rate is also very low. They pays $3 to $5 per hour, while someone working in the United States received at least $13 per hour.
