Well I did buy some cheap Ethereum tokens when price did get to $2000. I did make some gains but now price is $1845 so I did lose some of my capital.

I can't say how low it could get, but considering we should be nearing the bull run, I believe whatever price it is going to drop to, it should be dropping anytime now, because it is not going to drop any further after that. It could be very scary situation for many, but that doesn't mean we are going to see this changing for the long term solution.

If you buy right now, that would be smart enough, there is no reason to keep buying afterwards neither, we need to make sure that we could make it work some other way, and it would be considered alright with the way things are. If you can make that work, then you should just buy, if you wait for it to drop even further then it is not going to be good if it goes up instead.

Holy moly? You get the lost for all of your investment in ethereum. It's kinda weird when you have not yet sold your ethereum @4k, and rather bought more ethereum at such price.

I think hoping to the ethereum ETF is totally wrong. ETH also lacks of yield, and it's not an attractive investment for institutional investosr. It has also far less volume than Bitcoin. The worst thing is that ethereum is also has the most expensive tx cost even when it gets crowded.

It's not a suitable choice to be used as an investment. it can probably go down deeper than the current rate. Always becareful with your money, but if i were you, i'd prefer to take other coin as my investment.

If we can critically look at the way ethereum has been performing few months now, it has not been impressive because it struggles to break above $2,000 each time it dips down below that range, which shows a great concern about those that have been expecting it to make a all time high and this has always been a dashed hope or dream in becoming a reality, but i still have much confidence in ethereum if not now, but later anything profitable can come up, if we can invest, buy the dip and hold, it may be a day more closer to it all time high soon.

Ethereum is already at $1,700. At this time, if Bitcoin is dumping, Ethereum is dumping the most. Despite being the second largest coin, Ethereum is not able to maintain its price properly. I think Ethereum investors are the most upset at this time because even though Bitcoin reached $100,000, Ethereum could not overtake $4,000 and reach $5,000. Then, when Bitcoin slowly dumped, Ethereum dumped even more. Currently, Bitcoin is at $82k and Ethereum is at $1,700.

Well there is strong support for 1700 and we have not gone below this price point yet. This does not mean it will not happen. But I do think we will need to see a big loss for Bitcoin for that to happen.
And even last 4 months Ethereum has been in red it does not mean we should panic sell. I did read it is down 45 percent in this year so now is good time to stack cheap Eth tokens.

Looking at the current price of ETH $180k, I guess the price will still fall below $170k before the end of this month of April which it will allow investors to buy plenty of ETH and hodl for future purpose. ETH is among the potential altcoins people don't miss to hodl for long time, because whenever you are hodling ETH for long years, it create more opportunity for hodlers to earn massive profits that will make them to increase their capital.

This is the advise I use to give to some newbie, invest what you can afford to lose in altcoins investment because anything can happen in the processing of hodling the coins.

By looking at the current ETH price now which was $1.8k, I think one can easily assume that it can still go as low as $1.7k. I mean they aren't very far anyways. However, if you think the bull run is now near then it should not drop anymore but it will now start to recover.

And once the bull run is over, we can expect for the price to drop again. Only those who got scared for a drop in ETH are the newbies because ETH is not a new coin anymore. In fact, a lot of experienced users actually likes it when the solid coin dips because they are now able to buy it at a good rate. So, there is no need to change this and a change is still not possible because that is how the crypto market works or even the other markets. There are always downs apart from the ups.

I'm so bearish with ETH if i'm being honest, nothing important coming out from the development side in my opinion and current market is as bad as it can get.

When a coin like solana that beat ethereum in these past few months are also having a really bad time, you can expect ETH to maybe go back to $1200 level.

As CZ said, it's better to stick with BTC, why are we even wasting our time and capital in ETH is what I keep wondering. the only hope left for ETH is inclusion in US strategic crypto reserve.

Many people had high hopes for Ethereum that it would reach new heights, but when Bitcoin reached new heights, Ethereum could not reach new heights, but more dumping occurred. Currently Ethereum is at $1.6k, yeah it's confirmed that $1.7k is not the bottom.

But honestly, I can't picture at what price ETH gonna bottom out, the tech is fine, and the fee has been pretty cheap as of late, however people can't stop but dumping the coin.
I can understand that people might think since most of altcoins are also dumping, ETH dumping is normal, but ETH has been literally underperforming from previous year.

The problem will be when market capacity decreases. Ethereum will lose its second-place position and become more likely to compete with third- and fourth-place Ethereum. Many investors will then lose confidence in Ethereum. Therefore, I believe Ethereum is safe for the coming months, but the continued bleeding will have negative long-term effects.

Well price of Ethreu did this fall below price point of 1700. It is not a good time for us to be hodling Ethereum tokens. But I am still not going to sell them. Even now it is the 2 year low price.
When this 'bear market' is over I think we will get back some gains. For this token to be down like this 14 percent in only 1 week it does not happen like this alot. Buy them for cheap now if you do have some extra fiat.

as long as you don't make a loss sale then you don't lose anything, the ethereum you have bought has the potential to increase in price again in the next few years maybe, you just have to be patient, especially now that the price of ethereum has touched $1530 (via coinmarketcap) you will lose big if you sell now. there is a trick that you can do to not lose too much, you can stake your ethereum on binance and the APY is quite large, so while you wait for the price of your ethereum to rise, you also get a few percent profit from staking ethereum on binance or other platforms (depending on you and DYOR).

Even trump linked WLFI wallet that holds quite good amount of ETH around 8 million worth is cutting their lose.

I wouldn't really consider ETH getting taken over by USDT as a big thing, since they keep increasing their USDT total supply.
the concerning thing is that XRP is literally closing the gap.
