Sportsbet.io confiscated my deposit without having played (3224 ADA)

I am user 87Nic on Sportsbet.io, a few months ago after losing some bets, I decided to deposit 3224 ADA to play, I received the confirmation email that the deposit had been received, after 20 minutes they asked me for KYC without even having played, and I am surprised that I could not even bet or withdraw my deposit, I passed the KYC and they told me that I could not pass the KYC test so they will keep my deposit and there will be no further correspondence on the matter, I decided to file my complaint until now because after repeated emails, they have not contacted me, how is it possible that they keep money that has not even been played, I am not even a player who has won in your casino, but the opposite

According to the screenshots, it seems they are accusing you of multi accounting, which is prohibited at the platform. You account could have been automatically flag off as one that's connected to other accounts.

Maybe there's a mistake you made, like creating or logging into your sportsbet.io account when you were connected to a VPN, or perhaps you share a Wi-Fi network with a family member or friend who also has an account on the same platform?

As far as I know, they confiscate winnings/deposits in scenarios where the gambler has broken the rule multiple times and their previous account has been banned, the gambler has won more than their deposit or something similar to those.

I wonder what sportsbet.io has to say about this.

maybe he made a mistake like that, but i would imagine they use other info to link multi accounts. i mean, if they only use IP address as proof, accusing a player of having multi accounts based on that only is pretty weak imo.

It's probably why the asked him for KYC verification. Through KYC verification in think they will/have even do/done proof of address as well so in case something is off, they will know what to do next.

That is, if his account is not linked to a group of accounts that have abused the casino before. Otherwise, I have seen cases where the culprit has been banned before for misuse of the casino only to attempt and sign up using another account. In such cases, they may not refund even the deposit.

I am not trying to say OP might be in the same boat. Let's see how @jeremypwr helps him out.

IP, device, financial transactions and betting patterns is what they use. Many times, especially with betting pattern, they are guessing. Many still confiscate money. There really isn't a reason for a sports player to multi-account as Sportsbet since their odds are bad.

cases like this rarely get solved here on the forum, so OP best bet is to file a complaint with askgamblers if this goes nowhere.

There really isn't a reason for a sports player to multi-account as Sportsbet since their odds are bad.

there are multiple reasons actually. one of them is promotions abuse.

Uhh... But you do have been warned before about not to create another account in sportsbet? If that's the case, I believe the message usually consist of a warning that upon creation of other account, the casino [in this case, SportsBet] will not return the fund in the account. Something along that line of wordings.

i.e. is there a check when creating an account? or does your check only work after a deposit?
how is it that you almost immediately found out that he has a multi-account, but you gave him an address for a deposit?

Sportsbet, I am sure that you are a crypto bookmaker with a high level of reliability. But why do you allow such trifles to happen at all??? It's so simple! A person registered. You checked him. If you saw that there were violations, you closed the addresses for deposits and started a check. Until the end of the check, all services are unavailable. Why doesn't this happen? Why do you make me think that you are happy to steal money, knowing in advance that you will not give it back?

You can discuss the rules and regulations of a particular bookmaker as much as you like, but the fact is that the bookmaker's rules are not the law! And by law, any bookmaker simply does not have the right to take away deposits!

I know that many bookmakers abuse the cancellation of bets and this rule is applied only in case of winning. But at what point did you start taking away deposits and also set up the participants of the forum so that they support this?
So what if you caught him on multi-accounting! At what point did you get permission to steal other people's money??? It is only within your legal rights to not allow the player to place bets! You can refuse the client.
Imagine a situation where you come to a casino, and they take all the money out of your pockets and kick you out into the street with the words "this is not your first time with us and last time we already told you not to come"
The maximum you can do is not give the player chips and not allow him to the table!!!

That's always been my argument. Because they have it written in their ToS doesn't give them the right to steal. The way it works is if you are a casino player, you are safe outside of a jackpot, since the odds are always in favor of the casino. If you bet on sports there's the possibility that your action is sharp. This is when the problem occurs. They don't want your action and there's a possibility that they take your money on your way out the door. This is why almost all problems, except jackpots, are with those betting on sports.

As of now, it is clear that sportsbet.io has suspected some financial patterns from the deposits (linked wallets, similar transactions, etc), now since OP has not shared any wallet address or txID and considering how openly the casino in question came out in public to make their stance clear, it shows that they have ample proof (my opinion only from experience).

Since I don't charge, it is somewhat irrelevant where I deposited from (Binance), I had lost the last bets, the last time I won I had deposited BTC and I had charged to the unique address that Binance gives me to receive BTC. I still share the TxID of the ADA deposit that I made to them:
