Do you buy ASIC miners from China?

I was thinking about just ordering a miner straight from the site but honestly, I'd rather hunt down a secondhand one or even a new one from someone local who's got a solid rep. It feels smarter to me because I can check it out in person, plug it in, and make sure it's humming along before I hand over my cash. Plus, I'd skip those annoying long shipping waits and the hassle of dealing with returns if something's off. I just like knowing what I'm getting upfront, you know? Saves me a ton of stress and probably some money too.

I'd definitely dig into what people say before I pull the trigger on buying anything. I've heard some say it's all smooth sailing–easy orders, quick delivery, no fuss. But then I've seen others griping about how hard it is to get help or send stuff back when it breaks. It's got me wondering if they're really dependable. If I'm not sold on them after checking. I'd probably peek at other options or some different ASIC brands that might save me the headache down the road.

Bitcoin mining was always my dream but back then I couldn't afford ASIC miners and I was mining altcoins with GPUs, which was nice but today it's not as profitable as it was years ago.
Finally, I have some money to buy a Bitcoin ASIC miner from Bitmain but I also have one fear for years. What if I receive a damaged ASIC miner? It takes months to receive them for China, it will take months to return them back to China and it will take some months to then receive them back again from China.

How do you risk buying ASIC miners from Bitmain? How often are their products damaged? Does it worth the risk to buy miners from them? How good is their support?

Since China banned mining, have they allowed hardware parts for mining to be made and sold?

... I would search for reputable local distributors or resellers that provide warranties and simpler return policies in order to lower risk.  I would carefully review the warranty details and think about paying more for better shipping protection if I had to place my order directly.

And I'd like to fly and spit diamonds... In short -- not going to happen because Bitmain, Canaan, MicroBt, et al only offer warranties to the original buyers - they do NOT have authorized resellers. Resellers can and should cover shipping damage but as for a miner that develops problems later on, you're on your own.
