[SALE] Bitcointalk Merit Poker: Collector's Edition Deck, Stand & Chips

After designing the game assets for, IMO, the best April Fools’ Day Event ever  I figured why not commemorate it with a cool physical collectible?

So, I came up with a design based on the in-game experience which could be made into a custom deck of cards w/tuck box, and got a sample created. Both to commemorate the event, and to try out a cool forum collectible set!

The BTCTalk merit poker collector’s edition deck features a raised gloss effect on the backs of the cards, and on the custom tuck box, in specific areas. The hexagon chips are displayed on the sides of the box, and the poker table used for the event is displayed on the back. The top label shows “Merit Poker”, and the bottom of the box contains developer/designer credits and a QR code linking to the forum.

On top of the 52 cards seen in-game, the (55) limited collector’s edition decks being offered will come with 2 gold cards inside the deck, one with a gold foil overlay and the other gold foil stamped, both based on a similar design with the cards. Check out the pictures & animations above. Each card will show the specific deck number chosen on both sides (1 through 55).

For an additional cost, I am also offering a collector’s set, which comes with the collector’s edition deck, tuck box, and a custom 3d printed deck stand with five 3d printed hexagon chips, for display purposes.

Thank you!  It would be pretty cool seeing it shift to BTC, although, it probably wouldn't end well for me personally lol. Even a monthly freeroll tournament with BTC prizes would be cool, but I'm probably day dreaming again.    I'd guess there might be hoops/regulations to deal with doing something like switching to full BTC gambling, but I honestly don't know. I'm just excited it will at least be around throughout April, assuming it doesn't run into any problems.

Good Job @ibminer. It is a collector's item and I would definitely like to buy it, but due to customs laws in our country, only products worth 27 Euros and below are ordered without customs duty. If there was no such limit, I would definitely order one. As it is, after purchasing a product with an invoice price of more than 27 Euros, it is legally necessary to make an agreement with a customs company. Therefore, we Turks may have to pay much more tax than the value in order to buy such beautiful products. In short, I liked it very much, but unfortunately I cannot buy it due to our country's policies.

Thanks for the kind words, international shipping seems to be rough with costs and sending from the US. I'm not sure if there is another way to go about it or not but I'm open to ideas.

Manufacturing has actually already begun on a portion of the decks (30 of them). I'm hoping they arrive to me by early next week and I can begin getting the sold decks/sets ready to ship. I don't really have an official cut-off date for sales at this point, but my thought has been to stop the sales a few weeks after merit poker ends, which I believe is happening at the end of April... I haven't fully decided yet on a specific date to stop the sale itself.
