The music, tv , pop culture, sport, movies.

Why because most people the very average people don't have time much and not even educated or interested about deep complex geopolitical analytical thinking or thinking whos right or who's wrong or who could do better economical moves china or russia or any other.

The average person really want just tv show's movies and sport to watch , of UK and USA generally speaking the english language countries provides that what people want in english language for example the Hollywood movies.
So average people trust and follows to actors music stars tv reality show and to sport athlethes like foot ball players or NBA baskeball players.

So Even If USA or UK got it many things wrong but as long as people follow to those stars and celebrites and watch them in the people-s minds the UK and USA remains strong and right and reliable Nations.
Untfortunately, the brics nations or any other even the European countries can't have that much power and influence If they don't have that kind of STARS and celebrites culture......so strong like it is in USA.

So your nation or country might have strong economy or strong smart leaders and smart ways to make life better but If your stars and celebrites game not right you never get influence and power over the world in order to get power of the world you need to get into minds of people and If your celebrites stars and idols influencers game is weak you not gona get power not even with army because a lot people woun't accept your regime and agenda.

In short faking power and having a good speaking skill would get you more attention than your ability or capacity. This is true everywhere. There's a co-worker in my office who is an average worker but he's good at advertising what he does sometimes exaggerating his own works and sometimes taking credit for others and in front of managers who are not as IT friendly, taking credit for what the computer does with a click and gets all the praise and benefits while others who work much better and are not as vocal about the work are left behind. In matter of politics, it could be more dangerous as these self focused people sometimes believe they know everything and are the best in the world and everything should be as they want. They are egoistic and bad at negotiating.
