We all know gambling’s about fun, but like malls or shops that were packed before, barely anyone goes now because you can just order online. Is the same thing happening to physical casinos? Are they getting crushed by online gambling?

Online gambling has been around for at least a couple decades now, if any shift in customer behavior happened, it was already done ten years ago. There are still plenty of casinos out there, you'll find at least one in every major city if it's legal in the country. They can generate a lot of money, but it'll tend to be busiest on Friday night until the end of the weekend. Lots of people love to go there after the bars shut and they are looking for entertainment, drunk people love to think they are clever but often see their bank accounts wiped out instead. I've done both and if you're with a group of friends a physical casino has a certain kind of charm to it - especially when you watch your spending and at least one person walks out of there up for the night.

I have a little bit of both experiences: brick and mortar casinos and also online crypto casinos, and I must say the convenience of online casinos make them specially attractive for people like my who do not have much time in the schedule to get out my way to visit a physical casino.
Do not get me wrong, though. I like the full experience of going to a physical casino and interact with pretty women bringing me drinks and catering some orders I could have in case I decided to order some food before continuing to gamble, but having a casino on my hands thanks to my smartphone is just a too big advantage when compared to the hassle of visiting a brick and mortar casino, than I have not visited one in a very long time. I will again eventually though, but it won't be any time soon.

I would love to go to one, but to do so I would have to travel to another country. Unfortunately, they are prohibited from operating in Brazil. The funny thing is that, on the other hand, online casinos are allowed and regulated to operate freely. I find it a bit contradictory, but that's how things work here.

Probably the easiest for you would be to go to Venezuela. Gambling is completely legal there and that includes land-based casinos. I think that Colombia also allows them to function, it's just harder to get license, so there are less casinos.

I sometimes go to physical casinos, but it's troublesome because they are not very common due to licensing, so you have to drive there. I'd rather have a few free rounds at online casino at the cost of the trip, than spend $10 just to get there. Then you have to drink something and you'll look like a tourist if you play 2 rounds of poker and leave the table, but in an online casino you can do it and nobody cares.

Well it depends because online casino have certainly made everything alot easier to access and instead going to the physical casino where you can be tempted with lots of temptation and issues it's probably best to stay in door and do all your gambling activities . I can recall some of the physical casino over here in my place and be very wild as gamblers sometimes tend to misbehave maybe probably because of some amount of funds they are losing or some other thing.

I stopped doing that many years ago for so many reasons; one big reason is the traffic. It is a huge problem; just going there takes hours, and it's more addictive because you have to spend hours just to make the most of being there because you spent hours preparing to go there.

Physical casinos are very far from my house. Aside the traffic and long distance that I will have to travel, the money spent on transportation fare in my estimation is not worth it. Like we say in gambling, it is not money that I can afford to lose on this. Besides, at a physical casino you will unintentionally spend more. Although most of my gambling activities happen online. I believe that these Physical casinos have its own type of fun. From time to time, I usually go to brick-and-mortar casinos to meet with friends, watch football games, and engage in analysis. Each time I am bored and need company, physical betting shops offer that privilege.

In my country there is a high level of illiteracy, so physical gambling is still very popular since the betting shop or casino staff can easily assist someone who cannot read. Not everyone is technologically inclined to gamble online, which is why we still have many physical casinos in my location.

I do go to the physical casinos but occasionally, not that frequent as before, now we have the use of the internet to gamble as we want and at our own convenience, sometimes i may wish to have fun together with other gamblers at the casino house, where i could enjoy the sweetness of the environment with lots of activities ongoing there, and it may be that i don't want the taste of a casino house than just to gamble on my own and be more comfortable like that, each of them both exist and no one is affecting each other, as we may also try to use either of them to gamble as the case may be.

A true gambler who has access to in person casinos , goes.  Online gambling is amazing for many different reasons.  Making sports bets from home is simple and quick.  Playing a quick game of roulette can be fun, same as poker..but games of skill are not remotely the same online.

Anyone who knows poker well, knows online poker is not real poker.  It's fun, I play it ( I LOVED the april fools poker prank theymos, Ibminer and powerglove created, and they know how much I appreciate them in general) but it's not the same as playing poker in real life.  In fact, I see playing poker like this.. there's 3 tiers.. Online, in person sit and go, and in person tournament.  Tournament poker is so far better than the first two it's not even remotely debatable.  This is where skill comes in to play.  The art of the bluff is half of what poker is all about..and you can't do that very well with the first two types I listed.  

Both serve a purpose.  Also, in person casinos can be amazing, or shit.  If they allow smoking, PASS.  I can't stand my eye balls burning from everyone's disgusting tobacco smoke passing around 2nd hand cancer.  If that's not the case, the casino has a wide range of games, good food, arcades etc...sign me up!

I don't remember the last time I even noticed a live physical casino center. It is as a result of me not being a number one fan of crowded spaces and mostly one where I go to spend money excessively just because I want to fill a need of pleasure.

I would only consider ever visiting a physical casino center if am in a new country and have enough funds and friends to make such a move. Where be it am alone for work reasons or special specific reasons besides tourism or vacation, I don't think a physical casino would be as appealing than the finer cuisines and nature scape yet to experience.

Yes the rate which online casinos and sport bet sites are becoming more popular nowadays, a lot of people/gamblers no longer go to the physical casino or sport betting shops the way they normally do. But the truth is that the online casino or sport bet sites can not outrun the physical casino and sport bet shops because they have been exiting for long. However am from Nigeria and the area where I work, there's a bet shop along the road and people/gamblers are always there anytime am going to work or coming back from work (even at night). So there's no way the online casino can outrun the physical casino shops. IMO the difference between the physical and the online casino is that the online casino allows you to gamble at your own convenience without moving and inch.

I have visited the physical casino many times but I still opted for online casino because i find myself feeling more relaxed and comfortable while sitting at home or sitting at my comfort place and gambling on my phone without distraction. I didn't learn how to gamble at the physical casino, it was online I learned gambling and I think that's why I opted for the online casino over the offline casino.

I voted for Yes, I'm still going to physical casino. It's because prior to playing online, I used to go in land base casino for years, me and my wife enjoy to go out and play. Her favorite is slots games and me, I played card games like baccarat and roulette. Although I will say that from time to time I go online because it's a better option because of accessibility.

But I guess it's very hard to break the traditional way of gambling by going to land base and see gamblers around. I mean the atmosphere and or even the free drinks and entertainment with live bands singing. Although not as we used to be, at least once or twice a month, weekends we will be present in one of our favorite casinos here.

I remember there was one thread asking how it's feel to be in physical casinos, so I suggest that at least get that experience once in a lifetime.

Not now due to a busy schedule. And since online casinos already exist, the course has already changed. It is something that the new trend of gambling (online) gives more convenience for the gamblers who do not have enough time to go to physical casinos. The only difference is the environment, but when it comes to games, they are all the same.

The atmosphere of a land-based casino is certainly very attractive compared to online casinos - this is what makes some gamblers always want to be under its roof. We can find gamblers of all ages and walks of life and different genders in a land-based casino - but it is a bit difficult to distinguish between women and men in an online casino. I especially enjoy watching people play slots in a land-based casino - it makes me feel happy even for a moment when they win.

Unfortunately, not all countries have physical casinos, of course it's all because of the regulations of each country. In some countries that do not legalize gambling - there are special places to gamble, but only certain people can access them.

There are no physical casinos in my area because my country still makes gambling illegal so of course there are no land-based casinos here so it seems like this question is a bit difficult to answer for most people, especially those whose countries still maintain regulations where gambling is illegal.

Currently I think that not a few gambling is legal but not a few gambling is illegal in many countries so that land-based casinos are possible only in a few places in countries where gambling is legal.

So the option is of course online gambling even though in the end this also goes against existing regulations because it is considered illegal but the movement in online gambling is clearly more difficult to overcome so that many people still gamble in my country (including me ) even though gambling is prohibited in the country where I live.

In my place we don't have many standard physical casinos; we have more betting agent shops. It's only recently that I have started seeing slot machines in beer bands and a few recreational centres, and I have just tried to play them a few times, which the experience was really not much compared to what I feel if I'm playing in an online casino, unless I travel local where I can see a standard physical casino house; that's when I might feel the urge to try it out with others who are at the table and see what it feels like.

We have 3-4 big casinos here in Manila. So obviously, I have been there, I was even in like in the opening of 2 casinos, lol. And the last time that I have been there was in November though. And because I have lost the last time and we are entering the holidays that time, I stop as I just want to have money when December comes.

So to answer the question, Yes, how often? For this year? I haven't though, been busy even in weekends and so for now I just prefer playing online games. But I wouldn't like spend a lot of money gambling online. I still wanted to go to land base again and gamble, maybe one of this day.
