What do you mean when you say it drives its own units interest, you mean you got more money in fiat or you've made a good crypto investment that generated more Bitcoins in interests? I wouldn't call unrealized profits from a fiat investment in BTC interests to be honest. Because to realize your gains you need to be able to sell your Bitcoins at the right time, that is to say during a lucky moment when the selling price is above the price you've paid to acquire your Bitcoin, or your break-even point at least.

Over the past Two years I think at current price we have seen more than 2x the price of bitcoin since last two years. If you sold at ATH it is more than 3x your initial investment and from the start of the last to years where we have bitcoin less than $20k it is like 5x of your investment. Why I am stating all this is to make everyone understand how quickly bitcoin can flip one investment although it’s loss is also in direct proportion. If this money had been in your fiat currency and with the huge inflation crisis surrounding Fiat now you might be at loss now in direct comparison to the worth of a house now.

Bitcoin has its risk but if you’re someone looking to hodl your funds for years to come maybe for inheritance or to start up a business with a time span of more than four years I would say bitcoin is the best investment not that it can generate you more ROI but it is proven hedge against inflation.

Good for you, and from what you've said, I assume you started investing in Bitcoin during the bear run, and that gave you an edge because the coins you managed to buy when Bitcoin was below $30k or something probably gave you a good profit because Bitcoin managed to go above $100k. I was active in the market when Bitcoin was around $20k, but unfortunately, my financial situation at that time wasn't good enough, so I couldn't use the opportunity to buy but I plan to do that in the upcoming bear market if the price goes as low as it was in the last one or even near it.

Buying a home with profits earned from Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies is a dream for me, and I don't know if it will ever be fulfilled, but I'm hopeful.

It is wrong to say that you've earned interest through holding Bitcoin. There is no interest on it by holding but you've made profit because its price has increased a lot compared to how much you've bought it. Just like gold, there is no interest in holding it but its value is increasing over the period of time.

Congratulations to you. I am sure that there are many Bitcoin holders that have sold some for them to have a comfortable house that they'd call home. Continue holding and keep the faith, this is how it should be for most holders when the right time of selling has come but don't sell all you have.

There's no small amount for bitcoin. Whatever amount you have,  the fact that it's an extra money, don't hesitate to invest. You will be amaze how far it will go and how big its interest is after years of hodling with patience.

Bitcoin is an ideal investment for those who can manage well their emotions and decisions in life. But if you only invest for quick money and earnings, don't stick with bitcoin, it will only frustrate and upset you in the end.

The market is lively if it goes up and down, but there are months with more volatility in price than months that are boring without big price movements or price growth. Through investment in long term, you identity your task is to ignore short term up and down of Bitcoin price. If you can do it, and are determined with your investment choice, and hold your bitcoin in long term, you will see profit, very good profit.

You can consider it as small investment with time, and it's DCA with time. DCA strategy works well for investors with small available capital for each investment purchase. But don't get it wrong, this strategy works well for institutional investors with big money like Strategy.

Profit which is added is not based on who holds the highest holder; if investor Y and investor X invest at the same time, buying at the same price, if Y is able to purchase bitcoin worth $1,000 and X is also able to purchase bitcoin worth $10,000, if the price of bitcoin moves to the point where investor Y will gain an extra 50% profit added to his investment, the same thing will also be applicable to investor Z; the profit margin is the same; it's only the amount that will be different based on invested capital.

It is possible that he DCA for two years since @OP statement give hints on how he accumulate Bitcoin from his extra money.  Looking back at the price of BTC at the end of 2022, it is possible that @OP had gained an average of 4x of his initial capital.

Congrats on your success. So basically, you collected sats over the past few years and when BTC price is high enough, you can sell and buy a house from that? I've never experienced it myself, but I have bought a lot of things with my Bitcoin over the years. I can say it made my life easier, although I don't necessarily view it strictly as an investment. I do agree that DCA is a good thing to do if you believe in BTC's value.

Investing in Bitcoin for at least two years always yields something suitable for the investor. investing in Bitcoin only look a bit frustrating if you are hoping to see quick returns immediately you just invested, if your intent is just to make a deposited and maybe continue adding some chunk of BTC  to your holding without selling it off at slight profit, in the long run you stand to benefit from staying disciplined with your investment. it really is amazing i remember the first time i saw my money grow it is insane to think how much it has grown when i did not even have to do anything to it i just had to wait and my money doubled granted it was a long wait but considering how i did not have to do anything but hold i say it is pretty impressive

there are a lot of stories like this in the forum funnily enough this simple, short story seems to be one of the most realistic ones

there are a lot of positive stories that are borderline ridiculous and you can tell they are exaggerating and sometimes they even deliver misinformation but this one is true if you just continue to invest on bitcoin no matter how much you can at some point it can generate enough profit
