Whats the best thing you've done with your winnings?

When you gamble, have you won a decent amount ever? Maybe enough to buy a really cool experience or maybe something really nice? Maybe you used the money to do something really cool for someone else, whatever it is I'd like to know what everyone's favorite thing they've done or bought with the winnings from their gambling.

For me I think it would have to be the experience one time that I funded with my winnings from a fun run in black jack. I splurged on an incredible meal for my wife and I and we spared no expense and ordered whatever we wanted 7 course meal with all the drinks and desserts and the ambiance music and wonderful atmosphere. It was a wonderful time in a beautiful city. That day I will always remember & I look forward to doing something else like that with future winnings

Food food food!

I remember I won before, my friends and I ate outside in eat an you can restaurant. It's bthe est experience because we had fun and bonding together.
It's just a small win, but I am still happy that time because we were able to bond with my friends.

I have experienced a fairly large win when I played slots and then cashed it out and used it to buy things I had wanted for a long time and treated my family to delicious food that we rarely eat and that was quite satisfying compared to using the winnings to continue gambling which ended up losing the winnings, and occasionally I give alms to the poor so that the winnings can be useful for myself and others.

The thing on which i cant be able to forget is on the time that i have won something $4000 on slots on which i have been able to purchase my own scooter on which i could say that this is the best thing that i have ever experienced with my gambling winning. After than i havent been able to experience on having that huge winnings even on the same base bet just like i get used to. It turned out that im already on negative because of having that kind of approach on trying to become a winner again. Well, its just fine because i do only make use of the amount on which i can afford to lose and as long i dont make myself that getting addicted into it then i should be just that fine. Best thing is that you are wary into the actions that you are taking rather than on becoming that impulsive just because you've been hoping for another big wins. Food is #2 and  this is something that i do want to spend up my winnings aside from gadgets. Everything will be that depending on the amount on which i have won.

Reminds me of the most memorable moment when I won gambling for $320 and it happened 2 days before my son's birthday, and maybe it was just a coincidence but it happened at the right time. And I could use the winning money to buy a battery car, and at that time the price was quite expensive and I used the winning money to buy a toy car for my son for $275 which my son had previously wanted and it was really luck that came at the right time and besides that the rest of the winning money I used to eat at a simple restaurant with my family and until there was nothing left but it made me very happy and could please my son and family.

Because I can say that I am not an active gambler but sometimes there is luck that might make small wins happen more often than big wins that only happen a few times but are memorable.

I think most of us have got that in common, if ever we win, a good or not-so-huge amount of money. We pay for food, and that feels good, right?!

I guess that it is the best feeling that cannot be compared to material things, but of course, we wish to have them as well if we ever win a hefty amount of money.

But that just hits differently when we are able to treat our loved ones with the winnings that we have. Whether it's still part of recovery money or just purely wins.

Yeahh.. That usually happens but, I think one really made my day back then. A devastating event occured and I lost so much in debt to my business so I was cashless at that point. I gambled on a few odds; but it wasn't my money. Someone actually paid and wanted to test my own bit of luck, and guess what? It worked!
The portion he gave to me wasn't so much, but it was enough for some miscellaneous for about a week or two.

People have won tickets that automatically made them retire from jobbing for life. Sometimes, they didn't even think they could be that lucky, but life happens in both directions-- negative and positive.

Celebrate with that money..take your friends out for drinks! If you don’t spend it, you’ll just end up giving it back to the casino anyway. The mindset’s different if gambling’s your actual job, but for a casual player hitting a big win? Enjoy it... That way, even when you lose later, at least you’ll have those epic memories of your victory night.

Normally winnings do comes with alot of excitement and if anyone have a huge win in gambling, most likely use some for enjoyment. Because since winnings doesn't comes that easily I believe each and everyone us here do enjoy themselves when they finally win in gambling. Although for me I have never heard a huge win before, but even as that I normally enjoy myself with my winning funds, regardless of the amount. Because though is not always easy for a gambler to get a win in gambling, so it's essential for us to always have some fun with our winnings.

So far noone has really posted an amazing win story. You posted that you ate food or bought drinks but nothing really significant IMO. It's nice to enjoy a win with friends and buy em a drink or a meal, but has noone won large money gambling? I mean buy a new car money or a trip for the wife?

Saving the money will be the best thing that I can do with the win money besides buy food to celebrate my winning. But I don't tell to friends that money is my winning

Even if I tell them, they will still happy because they can enjoy the moment with all closest friends together. That will be rare for us to gather in one place and talk each others as we have busy every day.

Winning huge money from gambling is rare so when we can win that money, we should celebrate it with our beloved people and friends. We can enjoy our time with them while we can share many things to them.

Same here, if it really a good enough to big win, I invited some friends and we go out for a dinner. If not they we will have a party at my house and celebrate even without any birthdays or happenings. And the next big thing is to buy mobile phones or gadgets for me and for my kids. There were also one instance that I phone a camera for my kids. But now they are grown up already, but still though happy memories and you can't forget those big winnings.

It's obvious that it really depends on how big your winning is. And probably most of us here are just average joe gamblers, so a good win of like $500 or more is considered big already and the first thing we remember is to celebrate that with your family as every culture prioritized their family and even extended families. Maybe if we win lotto then it's going to be a life changing experience for some of us. Or even hitting like the grand or a major jackpot in the casinos, around millions then maybe you will be thinking of buying an new home or even a house.

It is good to let people know that in total, my loss has been more than my profit, although I won than I lost in last year. This year has been in between in a way that I can say I am neither losing not winning.

I remember when I won high amount of money, I spent some of the winning on my family and I save the remaining. I have not won more than $270 before but which was followed by some losses. I remember I lost $50 that before winning $20.

Best things  I have done with my winnings from gambling:

• Bought dog kibble
• Bought a nice meal
• Bought a nice dress
• Met a family need

I look back and I am proud of the things I was able to do due to the extra cash from my winnings. It is always a delight.

The few times I won I remember friends who were around got some bottles of drinks because it is not a huge win and some also requested for theirs after few days. Well, it has been here and there, off and on as usual with gambling experience. I hope to win big anytime soon so that I can also have a far more better experience with friends and family. However, that is not going to make me over take my bankroll.

ever since i have been gambling i have not win a decent amount that i could use to afford a tangible thing that i can be proud of, rather i have won amount that i have used for feeding myself and my family and used to settle some urgent need in the family which i could not even remember how i spent them but i know i use them for family consumption. i think i have also used it to buy some cloths but i mostly use them for family needs. most time i even use my win to still gamble and the casino will take back their money because i want to be greedy. but even though i have not win huge but i still gamble responsibly and hoping i could win big someday.

Buying pizza in my office for my team after winning huge amount in gambling. All my officemate was surprised for sudden treat since I never do this on my whole career because I always save money.

They are happy to see me buying them food for free without knowing the real reason since I can’t disclose that I won it from gambling.

Spending gambling profit this way makes my money worth every penny.

In my case it was more of a steady thing, for many years I had poker winnings, with regular profits, almost every month, and what I did mainly with that money was to invest it, mainly in the S&P 500, although more recently I bought other assets. Not all of it was invested, as I did use some of it for expenses, but at least 70% went to build my net worth. Looking back, I think I did very well, because the net worth I have built up allows me to make a good living now, while continuing to invest and donate on a regular basis.

I've never had such big winnings that could change my life. Well, there were just winnings, of course. I don't even remember how I spent it. Although when I won a more or less significant amount for the first time, I bought good sneakers, and I walked in them for quite a long time. But that was a long time ago. In general, such banal winning stories as mine and most people's are not interesting, and fantastic success stories are very rare.
